Gadegal Homestay Narkanda | Rooms and Pahadi Cafe

This was my 3rd visit to this property. Had a great stay with my friends. Enjoyed the views,food and peace. This place is 10/10. Highly recommended, if you are looking for a peaceful stay far from cities thn this is the place. Go for it.

Location is very beautiful ..food is good

Travel date : Mid April 25. Property location is extremely good. It is placed on a hillside with a valley view and view of the roads. It is very different from the places we usually stay. If you are going with friends this is an amazing stop.The food and services are looked after by Himanshu and we had a great and homely food. He was always available at a single phone call. If you are a Non vegetarian Pahari mutton is a must try. If you are travelling with kids just pack for windy and cold weather. If you plan to stay here I would advise to bring your vehicle or come with a driver as it is mid of a highway and travelling becomes very convenient with the vehicle. Hatu temple is a must visit from this place. Extremely beautiful.

I was there for holiday trip, the rooms are just wow and staff is polite and treated us very well. Must visit!

Extremely disappointing experience. No staff was available to host, there was no light, and when i wanted to order from the menu, their only response was 'not available' except for the main items.

The home stay was around 100 ft above road level, there is no lift, not even proper stairs, in part of way, there are not even stairs, it was rough upstream, and in balance part, stairs are not proper, there is no railing on stairs, pathetic experience. All these things should be clearly mentioned at time of booking along with pic of passages, so that one can have a fair idea. It gives very groom y picture at time of booking but actual experience is very bad

The location of the property is very good it will give you an amazing view of the valley from the balcony as well as from the cafe. Rooms, common areas are neat and well maintained. The staff at the property were polite and supportive. Last but not least food was amazing we loved the taste and everything was freshly prepared. Further, we asked the owner of the property for decoration and cake in our room, and he did a great job, so special thanks to him. But some things could have been better like (i) wifi was not working; (ii) some electrical fluctuations were there; (iii) response from the staff was a bit slow

Very nice location and staff. The rooms were also quite comfortable. But this homestay is not advisable for older people as the climb upto the homestay is quite steep. However, it was a very nice experience overall :)

One of the best places to stay in narkanda. View from room is amazing. Hospitality of the owner and service is nice will make u feel like home. Special mention is for the cafe. Amazing sitting with fabulous view.

Property is good. View from the duplex room is awesome. Food is average. Service is top notch. But there is a electric voltage issue from the evening onward s & most importantly this property is not for those who have health issues or senior citizens as this property is high up in the mountain which obviously gives a breath taking view but it will be very difficult for guests who have knee, back problem or breathing related issues. Else for people who looks for an offbeat location or remote location is a perfect stay out here.

A great homestay away from narkanda town yet just 15 min drive. Rooms are spacious and have a great mountain view. Food is delicious. Owner takes special care for all needs of guests

Stay was comfortable and relaxing

The location is picturesque. Easily accessible and away from crowd. I noticed many work-from-hotel visitors too. Food was excellent. There are no restaurants near by however this property provided good food. Rooms were clean and cozy. Overall, a great experience. We wish to visit again in peak winger.
