The property has a strategic location, close to ooty lake (ooty boathouse, rose garden and botanical garden. However, it is tucked away from the hustle of the main road. The property is a proper homestay setup. Well maintained and clean. The washrooms are spacious and clean. It is perfect for groups upto 7 adults, as the flat in which we stayed had a capacity of 7. Room services are limited to tea, coffee and cookies. It does not have any restaurant or meal system. But swiggy and zomato are readily available in this location. The property also has a small terrace equipped with a small seating area to sit and sip on your coffee. The flat in which we stayed had 3 rooms, one of which overlooked the city valley. The other two do not have views. There is ample parking space in the property for two and four wheelers. Personally, i had a lovely and cozy experience. Recommended. Con - the wifi is very patchy. Almost doesn't work.

Location is quite central. Just about 2 kms from the bus stand. Reception was quite warm. As we reached at 0900 hrs itself, they offered us the use of a decent bathroom with hot water facility for our morning ablutions. This small gesture is really appreciated by us. Though we did not use it, the gesture was not lost on us. The property is spread across three adjacent bungalows. The room allotted to us was just 100 sft with a attached bath room. It was adequate for us. A cloths lines / rod in the ward robe would have added more convenience. Beds and pillows were well made and were stainless. Bath room doors requires some maintenance. Provision of a hot and cold water dispenser in our room was really mindful. Service attendant was quite prompt and answered our summons promptly. All told a 5 star experience with a warm touch.

The property is well maintained, and is neat and clean. The manager/caretaker and service staff were very cordial, and the services assured were a reality. Would say it is worth the money, and, will defienetly recommend for a friend. Some people, who prefer to be very posche etc, may ignore, but, it is worth and no way cheap. It, for sure suits middle class. Wish to have a humble suggestion, to try the possibility for food service. Even though the location is a bit, in between the city, it was not a problem, and of course that is the scenario for many accomodation. Parking space ( a big matter of concern in ooty, is assured, and it is safe. The plus factor in my opinion is an option for a kitchen, and with an induction stove, you can make a difference

Staying at this Ganga's Sri Balaji Cottage | Rooms & Caretaker cottage for three days was an absolute delight! the room service was prompt, efficient, and delivered with a genuine warmth by the attentive staff members. Cleanliness was top-notch, making me feel instantly at ease. The spaciousness of the cottage provided a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration, further enhancing the overall experience. From start to finish every aspect of my stay with family(5 members) here was indeed meticulous. It was a very good experience in this cottage, it's definitely worth it staying here. It's also pretty affordable.

Overall all good stay pros 1) caretakers down to earth. Much helpful 2) local tours tied up packages available 3) location is much isolated and free from traffic disturbances 4) hygiene maintained cons 1) road to this property is much narrow with twists and turns. Bit difficult to access this area 2) complementary food facilities not available, need to depend on food delivery services 3) cozy terrace room is so small which won't be suitable for a couple. Just a double bed placed in a tightly spaced way. This room is perfect for single occupancy.

It's a private property and a beautiful room with ooty mountain view on the room 06. We are r members and the beds are very comfortable to sleep 2 each with good space. The room is very good and the cleaning is good and bathroom is very nice always the hot water facility and cleanliness. It was the best experience i had with the room and location. It might find difficult to reach the room due to short single road but it worth's the beauty from the room balcony or the terrace common area. It's near the boat house lake and botanical garden.

My stay at the ganga's sri balaji cottage was a pleasant stay. Clean and tidy room. Comfortable bedding. Good room service. Coffee or tea provided could be better. It is in the prime location and is affordable. It ais also near to many attractions in the ooty. Overall good experience. I had a very nice time with my family. The location is a bit inside. But the room we got was terrace attached and it was awesome. The room was too small but it had all the amenities. Service was also good. The only problem is there is no nearby restaurants. You have to do swiggy/zomato only. It's good that the Ganga's Sri Balaji Cottage | Rooms & Caretaker mentioned it before hand itself. Overall nice experience.

Very good 3 bedroom apartment good room service and clean and hygiene thank you so much. Only we feel sad about at least you can provide tea powder and sugar in the kitchen whether we are not included in meal pack or not. App other things are very much comfortable and satisfying

Stayed here for just one night, but the experience was fabulous. The staff is very cooperative, hot and cold water was available. Rooms were cleaned. Towels were needed in bathroom. Otherwise it's perfect.

The room is worthful with this price range. I stay here with 5members with 1room with 2bedroom. The 2bedroom has tv accessories and 1room has a balcony. And there is an attached dinning room. There is no fud included with this room we can order fud on swiggy&zomato. The Ganga's Sri Balaji Cottage | Rooms & Caretakers are not near it may upto 1km away. But incase of staying it is worthful in this price range.

I found this property on makemytrip and took a local cab to reach the location. Room service is good but food is not available here. Only tea or coffee will be provided at nominal charge by room service. They arranged the group trip to pykara and mudumalai at an affordable rate of 350+50 per head. A spring bed is provided in my room which is average and the metals are poking.

All is good, the room is good, people are all good, service is very good, heater & drinking hot water all facilities

We are taking two bedroom cottage for 4 days that was really a good experience actually cottage 1. 5km far away from bus stand but that was noice free from traffic it was located near blue mount school and surrounding with houses it's preferable for safety site seeing arrangements also done with reasonable cost from desk side we are really impressed with interior
