Garden Manor

I recently stayed in a deluxe room with a city view balcony at garden manor ooty for 2 nights with my wife. The rooms were well maintained and cleaned, although they were a bit small for a couple. The breakfast buffet offered limited but decent options. The Garden Manor is conveniently located within walking distance of the botanical garden. The staff was supportive and attentive. However, some basic amenities were missing, such as a bathroom stool and a hot water kettle in the room. There was no restaurant on-site, but the availability of food delivery services like swiggy and zomato made up for it. The parking space was sufficient, provided it was available. Overall, it was a good option to stay, with clean rooms, a city view balcony, and a convenient location near the botanical garden. However, considering the price, some additional facilities could have been provided.

The place was very good. The reviews were not so great which was worrisome but when we arrived there we saw that rooms were a bit small apart from that everything was great! the staff were very responsive, rooms (we took 2 rooms) were kept clean every day. Breakfast was minimalistic but i didn't find that an issue. They provided us with warm/hot drinking water when ever we asked. I needed soup as it was very cold on last day they even sent a boy to get me instant soup packets. The location of the Garden Manor is also a major advantage. Its right next to tibetian market, very close to botanical garden and also was easy to get cabs or autos from the center. Overall we enjoyed our stay at garden manor. If ever i'm going back ti ooty i will make sure ti stay here. It was a good stay, well maintained Garden Manor, very helpful staff, kid friendly

We stayed here for a night. The location given by mm t was about 100 meters off but the owner upon calling, guided us very nicely. You can park in front of the Garden Manor if there are not many vehicles. The Garden Manor room, though small was very clean and cozy. It is excellent for two people. The wooden pannel on walls and floor helped a lot to keep us warm during cold winter. Bathroom was very clean. The caretaker was very kind and provided us extra blankets upon requesting. Hotel provides hot or cold drinking water. The complementary breakfast was served in the terrace with a very nice outdoor table setting with lots of flowering plants all around. The breakfast was very good at this price. Overall a perfect place to stay in ooty which is also near to the central area.

This is good and cheap if you ind-end to stay at walkable distance from the botanical garden. Limited parking for cars in-front but the nearby parking ground will be always available for their guests, parking no issue once you speak to the receptionist. Rooms are bit colder than outside, probably the effect of wind and coldness near the botanical garden. No restaurant attached and no famous restaurants nearby but you always hot water and tea served in your room

A decent Garden Manor in a good location. Room was a bit small. Hardly enough to move around the bed. But the service is very good. All are very young courteous and prompt. Wifi was good for our iphones. We were senior couple who stayed only for a night. But one might have carry proper clothings since it is cold in ooty and there is no centralized heating. Private heaters are prohibited by law. The breakfast was very good and the staff are really very nice.

It was excellent staying with garden manor. The interior and building style gives us a feeling of british structures. Property located near the botanical garden. Room sizes are small but neat and clean. The Garden Manor staff is very supportive and polite. Breakfast was a delicious and variety of options available. Will visit once again for sure. The Garden Manor was really good neat and clean with hospitable and polite staff. Rooms were small but very well maintained with good furniture, interiors and view from the Garden Manor was superb. The botanical garden and tibetan market was only 300 metres from the Garden Manor. Breakfast was also good. It's the best option of budget stay in ooty.

Rooms, bathrooms were clean, staff helpfull. Location is also near to most of places. Room size was a bit small.

Had a lovely stay at this property. Staff is really well mannered, liked the breakfast spread as well, location was also very much in the center of ooty. Only one thing that was a put off was the room size

The stay was definitely good and service was also quite good one thing they can definitely improve on is the food and ventilation inside the room as older guests and family members may have issues

Hotel staff was very friendly, courteous and helpful. Breakfast was good. Hotel is in the heart of the ooty. Rooms are quite small and congested. If one is planning stay more than 1 night, then room space is not sufficient. Felt the room rent is pricey for that small of a room

The rooms were small as mentioned in the description but it was ample enough for two people. The compline breakfast was good and the cherry on the top is it’s location
