Our stay from 14th to 16th Nov at Gardens of Edens Thottam cottage, was HORRIBLE. Issues we have faced: 1. We have to trek to 1km uphill for our cottage room. 2. Room is very small & unhygenic compared to price per night. 3. Insects found in the bathroom. 4. No proper exaust in attached bathroom. 5. No Wifi, No Mirrors. 6. No extensions to call staff during emergency. Everytime no one should like to do trek 1km up & down for that. 6. Staff behavior is very rude, disconnect the call at the middle of the conversation. Don't pick up the calls for service. Attitude is very bad. No inhouse resturant. Even for tea snacks you have to order from outside resturant where they charged 70rs as delivery charge. Beware of Spider, Snails and other insects at your room.
