Our recent stay at Gateway Hotel Bekal was nothing short of amazing! As a couple traveling with a five-year-old, we were looking for a place that offered both comfort and convenience, and Gateway Bekal exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was top-notch. The staff welcomed us warmly, ensuring that we felt at home right away. The check-in process was seamless, and they even went the extra mile to accommodate our little one with thoughtful gestures, making the experience even more special. The rooms were spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with all modern amenities. The serene views of lush greenery added to the charm, creating a perfect retreat for relaxation. Housekeeping was impeccable, ensuring that everything was spotless and well-maintained throughout our stay. One of the highlights was the exceptional dining experience. The food was delicious, with a variety of options to suit all palates, including child-friendly meals. The chefs and restaurant staff were extremely courteous and took special care to cater to our preferences. The Gateway Bekal’s amenities were fantastic – the swimming pool was clean and well-maintained, and our child had a wonderful time splashing around. The lush gardens and open spaces allowed for peaceful strolls, making it an ideal getaway for families. What truly set this stay apart was the warm and personalized service. Every staff member, from the front desk to housekeeping and restaurant teams, ensured that our experience was comfortable and memorable. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made us feel truly valued. Overall, Gateway Hotel Bekal is a perfect destination for families looking for a luxurious yet homely experience. We had an amazing 3-night stay at Gateway Bekal, made even more special by a complimentary upgrade to the highest category room. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable, and the team went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay for our family. Traveling with a 4-year-old, we truly appreciated the thoughtful gestures from the staff. All her meals were customized to her preferences at no additional charge, making our experience stress-free. A special thanks to Chef Binu for his attention to detail, and Abhishek & Avinash from the restaurant team for their warm hospitality and extra efforts. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a wide variety of options, including plenty for vegetarians. While there weren’t many activities within the resort, we still had a fantastic and relaxing time. Highly recommend Gateway Bekal for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with outstanding service!

Gateway bekal is a very new and good property. The view and ambience of the premium cottage room ( has jacuzzi ) is excellent. Service is good. Buffet food spread is superb. Yet construction going on so spa and other facilities still not open. They even arranged small anniversary surprise decoration and cake for us. Miss Priyanka also gave take away food packet for my son on check out as he didn't eat buffet there. ( We didn't have lunch on Friday..we had it on Saturday). Only problem we faced was on friday night where we were offered set menu and there was issue with the food service...may be because they were catering a large group of SBI in banquet hall. But after talking to the main person Mr prem they improved their service. Also Miss Divya at reception was very good and understanding. Overall it's a very good property. I will give it a 4 * As all services are yet to start still. Thank you

We had an amazing experience at Gateway Bekal. Stayed there for 3 nights in March 2025. The property is adjacent to the backwaters, and roughly 2 km from the bekal fort. It's a 6 month old Gateway Bekal, so there is an added eagerness to impress. We got free room upgrade to a premium cottage which had a fantastic view, along with all amenities you can expect, including a Jacuzzi. The breakfast spread was quite good. The Gateway Bekal is coming up with other amenities so it's a work in progress at this point. For example, the bar is not operational yet and alcoholic beverages are unavailable. Overall, highly recommended.

We had a great stay at Gateway. Hospitality was amazing. Staff right from entrance to reception to restaurant and guards were very polite and cheerful. They took a lot of care. Rooms were spacious in villa. all amenities were great inside room. swimming pool is good. games room dis not have many games. children's play area was good. riverside walk was excellent. Bekal fort and Bekal beach park was just 2kms away. Food was delicious and lot of variety. Please maintain the same hospitality.

We had a wonderful stay! The property is beautifully maintained with lush gardens and charming cottages. The food was absolutely delicious, and we loved the variety of water activities available. It has a huge swimming pool, kids pool, lots of outdoor space with so much to explore, and our kid especially enjoyed the dedicated play area. A perfect getaway for families Thank you for the lovely experience!

Great: Property is new and huge. Lots of open space and activities to do. WiFi is super fast. Rooms are big. Food is good. Things to improve: Employee training - Had an instance where a Gateway Bekal employee just used their key and entered the room while we were inside (I had turned on DND as well). She said she was looking for the mop. This is unacceptable. No spa services and alcohol being served yet.

The place is new, calm and cosy but still has pending construction work. The rooms are quite spacious. Spa services aren't open yet. The washrooms being locates across the lobby for the restaurant is a joke. The staff are courteous but needs further training on many aspects of customer service.

Very comfortable stay, excellent and spacious rooms, beautiful landscape, property is by the backwaters, Highly recommended.

Very nice property courteous staff special mention to Pradeep & Priyanka , food was very good chef made some special dishes for us . Execellent rooms with nice toiliteries etc. Room service was also very prompt .

Awesome stay with great rooms, food. Prem took extra care of Jain items for breakfast lunch and dinner. Property is new and well managed.

Very nice property, fantastic staff and great Taj hospitality , we were celebrating my friends birthday at the property and the staff was too courteous and helpful with the decorations and had also arranged for surprise birthday cake
