Gir Jungle Lodge

The property was located around 3 km from the gir booking office. The property was horizontally spread with more than 20 rooms and more than 10 cottages/tents. There were mango trees (keshar mangoes) lined up across the entire property. The which we booked had 3 adults occupancy and had basic amenities like TV, electric kettle, and geyser for warm water. Some negatives were like the d2h subscription was not done and had to be reminded multiple times to get it done. Door was not getting locked properly. Tea, coffee, sugar sachets were not provided. We had taken complete meal package, so they provided buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. It was value for money, although they can increase the salt content in the food. Other amenities were a swimming pool, children play area, enough seating facilities in open spaces and ample car parking. One can also purchase 10 kg keshar mango boxes, which were taken from their mango farm.

Girl jungle lodge is a very peaceful and quiet resort. It has a play area for kids. And a beautiful garden. Beautiful trees are there of mango, am-la and palm. Important info about food is that they charge per person and the quality varies from day to day. Always ask what's in the menu as you may be served something you may not like and the quality of breakfast is the best and dinner is ok ok.
As there is no infection and threat is low, in and around the gir national park area. The safety measures taken by most of Gir Jungle Lodges here is least. Normal people and the tourists also ate not using masks in and around the gir sanctuary areas. Girl jungle lodge does temperature checks and some social distancing is followed. None of the other safety measures we're visible in the two days stay there. Otherwise the resort is very clean and tidy

Our stay at gir jungle lodge was comfortable and the staffs were friendly and helpful. The package included dinner and breakfast. On pre-order they also arrange for chicken but the usual meal served is vegetarian, which includes gujrati as well as punjabi items. On request the manager provided us a 1st floor room with balcony (ground floor rooms don't have balconies. Room was spacious but even though the room was clean there is a lack of maintenance. Especially the furnitures and fixtures. The resort has ample parking area and driver accommodation. Food for driver is not included and charged at rs. 1000 for three meals. Overall nice experience.

Location is good, about 2. 5-3 kms from sasan gir sinh sadan entry point. Property is good admist farms and lots of nature around which is very beautiful. Some play area, pool available. Other amenities are just basic even though property is good. Food is very expensive 400rs buffet system one meal. If u do not have vehicle then u do not find any vehicle although it's on road. They provide you with autorickshaw person contact number and you have to manage on your own. No pickup drop provided by property. No tea coffee sachets given as such in the room, for the price charged. Overall hospitality service is average.

Right at the reception we were greeted by mr mehta who was very welcoming n warm n extremely knowledgeable about the area. He even upgraded us to a four bedder free if cist so there was a lot more space though we used only three beds. It's a very nice place to chill out with fields along the border n the forest view from the back. A welcoming hot tea was available if needed, also early morning. They leave a mobile no for calling in fir any needa in the room. Room was clean n spacious n the ac was effective. 2 benches across the room helped enjoy a cuppa early morning. Good value for money for aure

Wouldn't call it outstanding. The swiss tents are okaish. I had taken swiss tents. Would recommend taking actual rooms on first floor. They are kind of row houses and nice indeed with good view of fantastically large farms behind. The tend does not have any view whatsoever. The windows did not even open and unless you are desperate for tent experience, go for rooms. Food available nearby 10 mins walking both sides. Rooms are neat and fairly clean. Not well lit. As for the lion safari, please do not take lion siting for granted. Approx chance of successful sightings is 15%.

Being in the outskirts, overall bit expensive but the place is very beautiful & quiet. The lodge is covered by a large area with plenty of mango trees. Swimming pool & children's park facility is also included. U can get simple lunch/dinner inside the lodge as well as restaurant outside ( just beside the main gate. Pick & drop facility for gir jungle safari is also available (on a paid basis. Staffs are very friendly. Only one thing is - atm is available at 2 km distance from the lodge. So one needs to keep the cash.

Resort is located very near to sinha sadan. Resort is very well maintained with greenery all around. If you are coming with family and kids then this resort is the ideal place as they have a huge play area with multiple games. Swimming pool was very clean and maintained. Best part of the stay was food and on spot service by staff. Would definitely recommend gir lodge resort for their supportive staff, delicious food and amazing resort feel

We visited gir jungle lodge in off season - july in monsoon. The purpose was to enjoy rains in gir area and to relax. And the purpose was met. Location is right on the highway - so no concern even if one visits during monsoon. Yet rooms are far from highway - so no pollution or noise. Food is excellent, cleanliness is perfect (even in monsoon, when we had expected a lot more insects than actually were, and staff is helpful and nice.

Great natural place to stay. Aroung mango tree with full of mangoes enjoy nature and stay cool and calm place. If u like nature and fresh air must stay. Superb place.

Location just two km from sing sadan. Property is neat and clean. We stayed at standard ac room. Ac tv hot water all working properly. Very calm atmosphere. Buffet breakfast lunch dinner - variety of food available. Staffs are cooperative. They arrange me a cab for junagadh drop in very reasonable rate.

Wearing mask was not observed at all. No sanitization facility at reception. Road between two rows of rooms needs to be widened. When one cars is on road while checking out, other car cant pass. They have to wait. Reduce garden little and widen road.

It was a good experience near to nature in the forest, good swimming pool my daughter enjoyed a lot. Food was good and the staff was polite.
