This was my first time in darjeeling and in homestay and i was really happy with the homestay and i really didn't expected it to be so clean and beautiful at the same time i really loved the cottage. I would love to visit soon.

I'm surprised when entering along with drain path and bad smell. It's very irritating Homestay and I don't like it. Room size is ok, no sofa, bathroom is very clean and good. Food facility available but outside the property and test was very bad. I don't let it. I don't recommend any one for this type of Homestay

The owner was very helpful and hospitality was great. Even though the hotel location in Google maps is wrong, just have to speak with Param for the direction. Even though no kitchen is present, they arrange food through nearby aunty's place. Stay was pleasant and location is calm away from Hussle of City. Centrally located to Chowrastha, zoo, ropeway etc. Definitely worth the money paid.

Thank you Sandeep, yes, we are at the moment arranging food from Aunty dilu, helping our community people to also earn because of our homestay. Regarding the location, we have put 4 signboards on both the roads down and up and nearby parking area. Also if anyone WhatsApp me, I send the location before arrival. Thanks, dear. Good stay but photos are not proper

Very near to main market. Location is bit difficult to find and entrance is from Side portion which is very dirty. Stay is peaceful but balcony is common not attached with any rooms. Also please don't book the hotel for yoga lawns or the photos attached. Yoga photos are not in Homestay premises.

Hi Sarthak, yes we are situated on a hill station. That's why not located on the main road, but in a very quiet and central location 200 mtrs from mall road and a VIP secure area opposite to Governors House. Being a ground floor cottage we have only one balcony common to the homestay. I checked the pictures don't mention the location even though we are made to fill up in the make my trip app, so yes it's a tourist spot / a park for Kanchenjunga viewpoint, where we do yoga/meditation and the park is Shrubbery park 2 min walk from the homestay. Also, since it's a common pathway shared by other homes around we clean the entrance portion from time to time on our own. Thank you.

Nice stay at the Homestay. Param (owner) is a nice person. Get to know a lot about meditation and it's benefit. No doubt that Dilu aunt makes delicious food, but price is bit on higher Side. And five star for the location. Overall a good stay.

Nice Homestay if you're in budget

Near the mall, 1.1 km walk from the home-stay, Kanchenjunga view point and Raj Bhawan is nearer. You can say that, it is in the unexplored part of Darjeeling. Basic facilities like clean bathroom (common), hot water, clean room is quite good at this price point. You can enjoy nice views around it hind side of the Homestay not from your window. Within 200 meter you can find Dilu aunty's Homestay where you can get home cooked food at a price slightly higher price (rice, sabji, daal and chicken curry) and veg (except chicken). The only drawback is that owner won't allow to drink, smoke and eat outside food especially non veg, if you could deal with it I can say it is nice place to be in for 2-3 days in budget. Namaskar and love from Kolkata.

Thanks Tanmoy, yes all is close by and in budget. Well smoking inside the room is prohibited. However, at the frontyard and backyard you are good to smoke . Outside food veg is allowed and drinks not allowed as I also run it as a meditation / yoga / Homestay for all guests. Please do come over for the Rajyoga meditation and yoga sessions at the beautiful shrubbery park overlooking the Kunchenzonga

I was satisfied staying at Gladiolus Homestay, Mr. Parampret (owner) is a very nice person, he would help you at every step. The location is also good only problem is carrying the luggage to the Homestay is little problem but that doesn't matter, I really liked this Homestay. Will come again soon.

Hi Subham, Thank you for your kind words. Yes, we are located at a distance of just 200 meters from Mall Road / Mahakal Temple. Being a homestay, in the hills, we are not on the main road but just 20 meters from the main road, so yes, a bit of narrow pathway needs to be crossed.

Also kindly book the peach room if you need attached bathroom, it is already mentioned in details while booking the room. Shared bathroom is within the cottage.

A nice stay in a homely environment

Although I stayed for just a night, the owner of the place made me feel like being in my home. The place was neat and clean and nicely organised. For food, I was referred to a nearby place run by an aunty. She and her husband was very welcoming and the food was delicious. Over all a very good experience. My only suggestion is that the bed should be little bit longer by length. Would love to visit again.
