GMT TOWER

The GMT TOWER is located at a walkable distance from Chennai central. So finding it will not be an issue. For commutation to even other places you will get autos very easily and a bus stop is located in 200mts distance. The room was so good and its more than what I expected at the cost I paid. Infact makemytrip eased the way of Booking. We will get room without much verification related hassles which you may have to bear in other places. The room has a TV with most of the regional and national channels. 24*7 water supply and electricity was provided. Bathrooms were neat and clean. Beds are also properly cleaned and provided without any dirts. For food a good GMT TOWER of theirs is there in the adjacent building. You can even order food through intercom. The room Services may get improved but its totally value for your money. My verdict is if you choose to stay in a budget GMT TOWER this place is a good option and will fulfil your wishes in many things. More importantly book through Makemytrip its good for your purse as well.

We chose this property for our short stay (i.e., 2 nights). We had a train to catch to Kolkata from Chennai Central Station and wanted a decent budget GMT TOWER near to the Station henceforth. One can literally walk to the Station (takes 7-8 mins) unless you're carrying too many luggage. The area is well connected. Hotel is clean, decent staffs. Overall a decent option to consider within budget.

Rooms are not very spacious but good for the budget provided. Cleanliness is maintained but can be better. Near to central Station n metro so commuting is not a problem. Staff is polite n helpful.

Hotel is good location not so far from mgr Chennai railway Station behavior wise good water supply is good but food etc not available in the GMT TOWER however nearby all are available

Ideal for a quick stay, clean rooms, friendly front office, very close to Central Railway Station, good restaurants close by. Not many Channel options in TV.

Place was easy to find and near to central railway Station. Staff were supportive. Value for money. Only issue I felt was with mobile network.

Room provided was good. But din't have mobile network at all. Totally surrounded by concrete structures.

Affordable guest house. Good size rooms. Not very well ventilated though but good for the price.
