Gokul Valley View Homestay | Rooms & Caretaker

Rooms are clean, valley view is great as per shown in pictures. Bedsheet and pillow cover cleanliness not upto the mark. Pillow cover was smelling bad. Overall nice experience, well maintained nice and clean property, centrally located near railway station and market.

Bathroom was smelling, cupboard was having sound like horror movie door 🚪. Monkey, around the window and balcony. Open balcony on your own risk. TV is not working and recharged just Dabba hai dabba, uncle ka TV dabba.

There’s a direct sunrise view from room 3’s bed. You can literally see the sunrise sleeping. Amazing view

Rooms were good. View from the rooms were scenic. Owner must improve the signages to the homestay since many of the locals were unaware about the homestay and were confused with Gokul Villa which is on the other side of the Gokul Valley homestay. Overall the stay was comfortable

The staff Bhaskar hired for this property is really great and humble. Bhaskar himself is such a good human and I really enjoyed staying here in matheran.....the view from the balcony is also great. I would recommend a gokul villa view to everyone looking for a stay in matheran. Enjoy!!!

It is a Homestay located in the main market of Matheran. The view from the room is great and at par with any of the viewpoints. Value for money. The caretakers are helpful. One of the better and more economical places near the viewpoints. Do not expect hotel-like amenities.

Stay room facilities are very nice, but location of stay is in dense area of population, in rest overall good staff support. Food is Ok, services are very good.
