Goldelux | Rooms with Wi-Fi

This hotel turned out to be a very disappointing experience and is absolutely not worth the price charged. The location itself is highly inconvenient – it is far from the main town, around 5 km away from Mirik Lake, and there are no shops or facilities nearby. To make things worse, the road leading to the property is extremely broken, making it very uncomfortable to travel. The rooms were dirty and poorly maintained, completely different from what was shown in the pictures on the MakeMyTrip app. The app displayed neat and tidy photographs, but in reality the property looked neglected, with overgrown grasses and an untidy surrounding. Although the washroom looked fine at first glance, the water flow was very slow and the hand shower pipe was broken. The food was another big disappointment – the quality was poor while the pricing was unreasonably expensive, making it not price-worthy at all. The overall service was unsatisfactory, except for one staff member who was genuinely helpful and polite. Apart from that, nothing about the stay felt comfortable or pleasant. I would strongly advise against staying at this property. The misleading pictures and poor condition of the hotel make it a regretful choice.

Property location and beauty is excellent. But amenities are very bad. They didn’t provided bath towels, soap or any washroom utilities. Food was bad. We got water in our room only after following up for many times. There were no glasses for drinking.

I didn't even stayed at the hotel because of the location, it so remote that even the location not accessible through google maps. Also the hotel can't assist in that matter.

Hotel do exist, but no caretaker no transport, we did not stay for a single minute, we did not expect such hotel is in make my trip list. Please refund my booking amount rs. 6430-

Damp room, bad smell, there is no arrangement of mineral water. Bad toilet, I had 3 nights booking but after staying one night i was bound to leave goldelux.

Only one caretaker available. He was drunked. Called 10 times but not responded.

Nearby weekend getaway from Kolkata Goldelux at Mirik offers bounty of nature, in the lap of green hills amidst orange orchards and nearby tea estates, must visit destination for few days to unwind, relax and have some quality time with kids, family and friends. Some improvement to kitchen infrastructure would be good with some expert staff, and some hygiene practice of regular room and bathroom cleaning, change of linens, would be a positive recommendation for betterment:) The host and their family members are simply very good, supportive and warmly welcomed us. We spent a very happy time together, look forward to visit again ☺️👍

Hospitality was too good. The owner itself came up to 5km and received us. Food and location was marvelous. Highly recommend for leisure.
