Golden Larch Residency

The property is well managed, my experience says i got what i saw in photos of mm t booking. They seemed to have kept old price in peak diwali booking days, lucky for me when i had booked it was showing old price which was less than there peak price, still they honored the booking and gave us good service. The hospitality they showed was icing on the cake. Including us i saw the host guiding other tourists to help plan their tour to places to better utilise the time. Also the homely food that you can book here was fabulous, i think they have only veg menu or don-no if it was due to festive season but the food was also pretty delicious and served hot in the cold weather of ooty. I would recommend my friends who would be planning to ooty.

Pros: location- it's near to the market & everything is available within 200mtrs. When i say everything i. E. A small grocery shop, tea stalls, a medical shop & good restaurants. Even you can order thru zomato & swiggy (we have ordered from kfc. Hotel staff- the guy was very cooperative & humble. I should also appreciate the manager of this Golden Larch Residency. He too was very polite. Rooms- rooms were good & neat & clean. And the same goes for bathroom also. Bathrooms & wash basins are connected with individual geezers & hot water is available 24*7. Cons: 1. No soap/hand wash/towels provided by the Golden Larch Residency. 2. No food was available & no delivery option thru reception too.

It a in a prime location and Golden Larch Residency was very clean and decent room. Ours was a executive room wot h balcony where we can enjoy the sunlight in the morning and have a good view of mountains and ooty. Very near to restaurant and other eatables.

Room was nice. Service was okay as had to ask them for everything. Breakfast included 4 idlis, 1 mend i vada, khichdi pongal. Limited but enough. Ooty has electricity issue so do carry power banks. Hot water facility available. Overall good.

Good stay. Good assistance. Can be better!

The staff behaviour was very good. The room was neat and clean. Also it was nearby to ooty bus stand and ooty railway station.

My check in experience was super. The food available at the Golden Larch Residency. Hotel is a very prime location. The staff was very cooperative.
