We booked 2 rooms and had a very good stay at this Golden Sarovar Portico. Amazed to see a smiling reception staff and mr. Amarbir assisted us from the moment we entered. Politely accepted our request for an early checkin. All the requests were always accepted instantly by house keeping or room service. Rooms were very clean like new. Will give 4 stars for this stay and only 1 missing cause of a requirement of a small swimming pool. Everything is nearby and we got a uber cab at 5:30a. M too for visit to golden temple. Bed sheets are clean like new. Thanks everyone for a nice memorable stay

The members of staff were helpful and understanding to our needs regarding restaurant recommendations and giving directions to the top tourist areas to visit and how to get there. The morning breakfast service was lovely and had a selection of sweet and savoury foods to indulge in, as well as fresh fruits and juices. The room that we had stayed in was clean and well kept at all times. I would come back to the Golden Sarovar Portico in my future endeavors as it made my holiday with my friends extra special. I would highly recommend it and, in my humble opinion, i would give it 10/10.

Would rate our stay as above average. We had booked deluxe suite room, room was spacious. Bathroom was big and had bath tub. Overall room was maintained well. Food quality was good. Especially indian and chinese cuisine was made well. Breakfast spread was nice. Amristari kulcha served during breakfast was very nice and tasty. Hotel lacks on amenities though, there is no swimming pool, no recreation room for kids. Food price was high, Golden Sarovar Portico management should consider bringing the same down.

Good Golden Sarovar Portico. Little far out from temple but you can take e-rikshaw to commute. Check in was great…gave us the room even though we reached at 10am …breakfast was fantastic…food which ordered in the room was great too. Early morning check out a mess. Reception hadn’t billed us for all items and then kept on struggling to process the payment through credit card.overall great experience…

We stayed for 2 nights. It is a luxury premium Golden Sarovar Portico located in an upmarket neighbourhood of amritsar. The rooms are spacious and cozy. The breakfast has plenty of variety and the food is delicious. The front office staff are friendly, helpful and very courteous. They go out of their way to make guests feel comfortable. In all, a great place to stay in amritsar.

10 of us stayed from 18. 08. 24 to 20. 08. 24. Staff, and service right from reception to housekeeping was par excellence. I say this, having stayed at 5 star facilities elsewhere in this country. Special mention for their restaurant bar on the 6th floor. All in all a thoroughly memorable experience as was endorsed by all members of the team.

Clean rooms, decent breakfast and responsive service. It is very close to the railway station and well connected to the market place. It is very much worth the money. It could improve their assistance for outstation tourists in so far guidance for places to visit in amritsar is concerned.

It was really a good and comfortable stay. Stay was polite and supportive. We reached early in the morning and easily got an early check in. Food is also good. Definitely try soup. Location is very good.

Location was very nice but we booked two rooms and got in two different floors bit disappointed. Person by name amandeep helped a lot by arranging local travel and hospitality is excellent

I stayed with my family in the Golden Sarovar Portico. The stay was really comfortable. Hotel is located outside the hall gate but at an affluent location. While everything is fine, the breakfast buffet was limited. Also, the replenish of the dishes was very slow.

The place is quite on the main road. Rooms are bit small, especially the bathroom. But it's quite centrally located in the city.
