Golden Star Desert Camp

The camp is located at a distance of 40 kms from Jaisalmer and is easy to drive to and locate. Our tent was sturdy and spacious and the bathroom was well maintained and extremely clean, as was the linen and the bed sheets. This came as a pleasant surprise to us because we didn't expect a camp to have such high levels of hygiene and cleanliness. Food was extremely appetising. The Chef prepared a delicious Rajasthani style dish using minimal masalas and oil. The camp organised a desert jeep safari (paid for separately) and a camel safari (built into the package), both of which were fun. Evening was spent around the bonfire watching a Rajasthani song and dance performance. Right from the time of check in to check out, Mr. Javed and his team were attentive to our needs ensuring great service. All in all, a highly enjoyable and relaxing stay

We had a fantastic visit at golden star desert camp in jaisalmer! couple in our own private tent! the guys who run the place go above and beyond to make this special. The tents had private bathrooms, comfortable beds, hot water, all kinds of toiletries and basic electricity. The breakfast was good, with a variety of breads, muffiins, jelly and jams, idlis etc. Dinner was wonderful. Traditional foods. The staff went out of their way to make my children feel welcome and have fun. Played with the camels that were arranged, desert safari and went atv riding. Special thanks to mr javed who is so kind and nice person.

The tents were comfortable, equipped with modern amenities, and yet maintained a rustic charm. The interiors were cozy and clean, with an attached bathroom, a king-sized bed, and all essential facilities. While it’s a desert, the accommodation offered a surprising level of comfort and privacy. The food was exceptional, with a variety of rajasthan and indian dishes served buffet-style. The flavors were authentic, and i appreciated the effort to offer local delicacies. Considering the unique location, the amenities, and the range of activities included, the desert camp offered excellent value for money.

It was a amazing experience with this property called golden star desert camp. They have provided awesome hospitality. 1stly they have received us at station then their property in sam area of jaisalmer. Their staff was very very decent. The food quality was too good like a proper rajsthani thali. Then we have enjoyed their culture fest, camel safari, jeep safari overall it was very good i would highly recommend you to visit this property at-least once and i am sure that you will have to come again at this fantastic place. The camps are very neat and clean with all the amenities you can ask for. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The cocktail party at the sand dunes was an unforgettable experience, with the stunning sunset as a backdrop and the mesmerizing sound of rajasthan folk music. Pheras at the sunset point was cherry on the top. Must visit place.

Firstly the most polite and humble staff i ever met. It was my last minute booking with golden star desert camp and i told them that i will be late for check in so just be there. The man mr javed, who was waiting till late night after 12 o'clock. 100 point for hospitality. Even they arranged late night dinner for a single person. Food was so good. The tents and bathroom were clean. Nice view from terrance at night. Beautiful property in the middle of the desert in a peaceful area. Next time i will definitely visit with my family.

Definitely a place to visit, team is great ali, & everyone. Always welcoming with a smile. Tents were also clean & tidy, well kept with all the amenities you will find in a good Golden Star Desert Camp room. View was also very good for sunset and nearby for all adventure activities available with the camp team evening entertainment was also as per schedule and food was traditional cuisine which were well made. Definitely recommend to everyone looking for a great adventure away from city hussle will definitely recommend

A very pleasant stay, that you are happy is the most important for them. We did everything they had to offer. Drive a quad bike in the desert. I highly recommend this place. Good desert camp. New property - just few months old. So rooms and other amenities very neat and clean. Dinner menu and food was good however breakfast needs improvement. Starters served at the time of cultural program was very good. Staffs were very helpful and courteous specially javed and jawal. Overall enjoyed the stay at the property.

It's a beautiful experience in jaisalmer golden star desert camp. The resort is beautiful, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The food was lovely specially dal bati and churma were top notch. The best part of this resort is their cultural program and folk dance. A big thanks to javed bhai who is such a humble man. The funniest man i ever seen in entire tour of jaisalmer. Had a fantastic experience during our recent stay at this property. Staff was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Dunes were a short jeep ride away from the camp, but once you reach it, it's an unparalleled experience. The fire swallowing show during the evening program was excellent and thrilling to watch. Definitely a highly recommended stay, and the jeep safari is a must if you visit here

This campaign site is the best! they've got new tents that are very comfortable, the tents are exactly like the ones they showcase in the images, the evening program was very enjoyable, the artist were very good. Snacks during the event were a bonus, and dinner had a veg buffet with lots of options. Breakfast had plenty of choices too. The staff is super cooperative, making the stay really comfy. I loved my time here!

One of the best hospitality we have ever experienced. Our flights were late and they waited for us till 11pm at night. They greeted us warmly and food was given without any hesitation. They also took special requirement at late night and full filled without second ask. We travel-led with a 8 month baby and they took care of us as their family. Must visit if you would like to visit desert in rajasthan

Best camp in Jaisalmer. Food is very tasty and culture program was good. Staff is very friendly. safari is tha best.
