We stayed at Goona's Palace for a day only. The most interesting aspect of the stay was the location of the houseboat (just opposite to Ghat No. 12) and the free shikara ride. Since it's a houseboat, do not expect grandeur of a five star Goona Palace Group of Houseboats. The staff was courteous and woke up at 5 am in order to drop us to ghat. The food was extremely nice. The only icon was the view from the room & the cracking sound when someone walks on a houseboat, but, I guess that's the case with every houseboat. Recommended for stay upto a day.

As soon as you arrive at ghat no12, your shikara ride boat will take you to house boat in 5 mins, rooms are well maintained and i stayed for 2 days and the owner provided me taxi at resonable price for local sight seeing and Gulmarg, air port dropping. Food in the house boat was expensive which is 350 per head (veg)of course you can have it even outside according to your comfort. WiFi is fast and good as house boat accomdates only 4 rooms

Owner Mr. Lateef Goona and manager Mr. Sameer were very friendly with good service. Food too, was prepared and was tasty. Overall good experience. Night view was beautiful and day view with snow over the top of the mountain, weather was chilly and nice.

It was really wonderful stay at Houseboat Goona Palace with my family. Location was good. Very neat and clean stay at houseboat. Toilet was very neat and clean. Thanks to Mr. Latif Bhai, the houseboat owner for giving us pleasant stay with good memories.

Me and my friend booked this houseboat for three nights. This is a very nice houseboat. The shikara boy Sameer is very cooperative and very nice boy. The food is awesome and fully homemade but little expensive. So our overall experience in this boat is very good due to the Sameer the shikara boy.

It was our first visit to Srinagar. We enjoyed our stay in House Boat. Location of House Boat was very good. Service and other facilities were very good. Food was also good. House Boat was well decorated and was neat and clean. We recommend to stay in House Boat.
