I loved the entire interior, it was quite aesthetic and the pool side was like the cherry on top. I would love to go there again. I think they should decrease the price of the menu; it was quite costly.

There is no provision for electric kettle and the guest cannot prepare morning tea at the room; otherwise it is in good location, serene and silent and staff behavior is very nice

You get what you see - A beautiful stay

Very often with home stay bookings, the actual property is nowhere near the pictures on the website, but at Gopagiri was a refreshing change - it was as seen from the pictures, beautiful. The caretaker Shankar was helpful and the breakfast was good and served on time asked for. The airport drop was arranged for us without any hassle. All in all a beautiful experience.

A beautiful ethnic homestay but don't expect much more

- Gwalior being geographically not an expansive city, no location is far from any tourist spots or markets. Gopagiri has a very nice old world look with a soothing garden. - Rooms are spacious and nice. But absence of any chairs or tables is an inconvenience. - Water supply to the rooms stops in case of a power cut. - There is just one attendant (which is fine) who is well meaning, but not very competent or professional.

We had a pleasant stay at Gopagiri homestay. The rooms were big and the open space was good. They also have good collection of books to read. Rooms were neat and interiors and exteriors were good. Few areas to improve : No hot water in bathroom, no complementary breakfast option, no dental kits and no kettle and tea/coffee options within room. Location is also in a small lane where car parking is on the street only.

The place is not conducive for family.The door,latch are ancient model,but the charges are 9 star rates.They don't even give cup of coffee/ tea ,leave alone complimentary breakfast Not at all recommendable.
