Gorukana

We recently stayed at a charming cottage nestled in nature, and it was truly a memorable experience. The cottage itself was spacious, well-maintained, and provided all the comforts we needed. The location was perfect—serene, peaceful, and surrounded by natural beauty, making it an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. One of the highlights of our stay was the Ayurvedic massage, which was incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating. The attention to detail and the calming ambiance made it a delightful experience. Our kids had a fantastic time as well, especially with the surprise kids' beds in the attic—they absolutely loved it! The food provided during our stay was another pleasant surprise. It wasn't the typical restaurant fare, but rather delicious, home-cooked meals with plenty of options to choose from. The quality and variety of the food made every meal enjoyable. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a tranquil retreat in nature.

This is a very humble resort. Do not expect creature comfirts of a 5 star Gorukana as this is an eco wilderness resort. Must should for all with children above 5 years if age, for that much need exposure to nature. This is the closest you can get to nature. Food: we preferred south indian, and it was good. Felt like home made food. Water: they do not provide plastic water bottles, if you want, you may carry packaged water. Toilets: average, but practical, considering the surrounding environmwnt. Beds: good, but you may want to carry mosquito nets. Weather: we travel-led in january, it was very cold during night. You may want to carry warm jackets. Toileteries: carry your own tooth paste and brush. Will i go back: definitely yes.

Loved the stay. I could not digest enough of this place in the weekend's stay. The peace, silence, rawness of nature was well balanced atleast during my stay, and hope it will be maintained not just by the management but also by the folks who come to stay here. I was quite surprised the property has no-alcohol and no-smoking policy which is very difficult to find in today's generation, keep it up 🙏🏽

We had a nice experience in the resort. They arranged a tribal dance and it was too good. The rooms were good and cozy with ample amount of space. We even took a massage and it was very relaxing. The foods were also good.

Overall it was an excellent and rejuvenating experience, very peaceful after a long time. Food was organic and good overall. Cultural programme, nature walk was a very good experience.

Resort is wonderful, with polite staff and keeps you busy with lot of activities but it a little unfriendly for senior citizens as the railing are leased and the terrain is rocky

Located in the forest vicinity, a great place to relax with family. Food was pretty good. Absolutely no room service, and timing needs to be maintained.

Room, food, location or awesome. But while taking vehicle towards parking road is very bad. Need to make good road towards parking from main road

Verdant forests, placid lake, symphony of forest sounds, lovely tree house, and delicious food. All make for a wonderful stay at gorukana.

Amazing experience. Location you would not find anywhere like this. Close to forest, pond, animals.
