The houseboat is not directly on dal lake. You need to take a 10 second walk to Dal lake. That means no direct view of Dal lake from room. There is no practical arrangements for fooding. The caretaker advised to order through Zomato/Swiggy and he would only fetch the ordered items once. The caretaker said that checkout won’t be available before 9:30 AM. Sockets were broken and without any switches making it dangerous for kids. The caretaker kept asking for tip. Complementary breakfasts were arranged only after we called the owner asking for it. Stay at Gossani Guest House was the worst part of my Kashmir trip.

host was good but initially water supply was bad, after running water for few minutes water was good.

Its so easy to find the location, both asif bhaiya n his father are excellent, we no need to worry for your journey, just 1 problem is u need postpaid sim before meet him, after meet with him your journey n planning will simply maintained by them, they provide care like home members

Stayed for 3 nights. Caretaker was very polite, helpful. Also property owner was very courteous. Breakfast(included part of our package) and paid dinner was quite good. Altogether very good experience from house boat stay perspective. Value for money.

Room good. Behaviour of owner very good. Nice food on demand upto the expectation. On the heart of the dal lake. Very cordial behaviour. I recommend for others to come. Thank you asif.

Property standard was very low, some articles were stolen by waiter in our absence. Food quality was very low.

I was told to book another hotel as the hitel is booked offline and is full, hotel manager told me that i will get refund as he has not accepted my booking

Unexpected booking with this one. Been coming back to kashmir for a couple of times now and gossani has been the best i've experienced so far. Amenities are top notch with a heated warm bed, hot water system in the bathroom, clean and well-maintained facilities in the room. The owners were around so service was always present plus nation was very attentive with my requests especially the meals i had- so far the best home cooked meals i had during my stay. The views in the early morning and late noon sunsets are very pretty on the lake, too. Thanks for the warm welcome and the efficient boat service you extended. Cheers.

Stayed in this guest house for 3-4 days in Jan'24. Yes, the family is very responsive, warm and helpful The uncle, Aadil Bhaii and Asif Bhai were treated me so well and assured me to not worry. It was a home-like feeling. Asif bhai, Adil bhai and Kadir uncle all are friendly and go over for pickup and drop-off, The location is better than other house boats as it's 2 mins away to get out of the lake and the market and all are quite near. They even didn't charge for the boat services and enjoyed boat ride in the lake (generally it charges 500 rs) The food and services were good and given the personal attention to our group which was too good. Also if you Want Kesar & Shilajit ask to Aadil Bhaii, They also have cab service at the cheapest price. I would like to recommend staying at this guesthouse, It's clean with all the facilities available. Thankyou ♥️

The location is fabulous, the people are nice, rooms and decor more than okay considering the tariff. Only issue is the restaurant where we could order our dinner and/or breakfast and get it room-served is veg only. This is not taken from there, this is from the ghat
