Gourish Resort, Mahabaleshwar

If you are looking for a stay close to nature, it would be one of them. Very friendly staff. Kitchen with a limited menu option, but clean and tasty items. Lots of plants and greenery around. A small section for kids with basic slides etc. Bob fire in evenings is a plus. Duplex rooms are having a separate sleeping place for kids or other guests. Some of these rooms also have a balcony, with a long green lush view. They also have hot water in bathroom and wifi in common areas. Note it is a bit off the road, around 3-4 Kms if you have your own commute, will be good stay here.

Its a neat resort a bit old but a neat one. Well maintained and the food options are limited but tasty. Nice and courteous staff. A lot of photography/bird watching/wildlife spotting options available for nature lovers since it is almost nestled within the jungle. Special mention to Prathanesh cot who took care during our stay and marshal the pet l brasdor. who made the stay most enjoyable. Whether was good. Overall three days was enjoyed and it very near by to Kates point and checking out the sunset is a must.

Gourish is a good resort to stay away from city life and enjoy nature. It is situated in the jungle area and on the road when you travel from kate’s point towards arthur seat point in mahabaleshwar. This is a very nice place to stay for a few days away from rush and busy city life. Ambiance here is great and we all loved it very much. This place is nice to visit with family and friends. I would like to visit this place again.

I stayed in Non AC 3 bed room hall Bangalore. It is very nice and spacious. Preferred for groups, families. Food served at room is tasty. Banglow is well ventilated. No need of AC, I traveled in end of may month. Only issues I have seen are windows are without safety grills, food menu card having very few options. Approach road of 300 meter is not good, street lights are not there.

The property was awesome, huge, pure jungle feeling, infact at night we witnessed deer also, room was clean and hygiene, staff was humble and helpful and food was excellent, the jungle safari is amazing with a mesmerizing view, full of oxygen, very affordable price, rooms are big, indoor games are available, overall a five star rating.

It may be the coolest place in mahabaleshwar surrounded with plenty of trees. Forest treat strawberry garden is mine blowing here they serve superb fresh strawberry with cream as well they have pure veg restaurant where they served pithal bhakari villege feel maharashtrian thali the bhakari was made on "chullha" worth visiting !

The room was quite good and spacious. Liked the silence too the staff was also very helpful. The only thing which i did not likes was there was no solid boundary around the resort it was in the jungle so felt a bit unsafe at night. I have raid my review of the stay is it still not enough to avail the discount?

The Hotel is located on old Mahabaleshwar Road. It is a great Hotel as per the location. The food at the restaurant is good and also the quantity is too much for the price charged. The rooms are as shown in the picture. The suite rooms are very spacious and interior is good. Would like to visit here again.

The food was nice, budget and to be frank I wasn't expecting such hospitality from them. But the spread was decent for its cost and hygienic.
Nothing that I disliked about the property only it needs a little renovation.

The place is very nice. The stay was very comfortable and good service by the staff. The only thing you should avoid is eating from their restaurant. We didn't like the food it may vary person to person overall stay and amenities were good

Excellent property with good amenities. Spacious room and good food. Loved the swimming pool. Good for travellers with tight budget.

It's an amazing place, the strawberry garden is awesome, it's actual strawberry farm and not only saplings to show. The strawberry with cream is mouthwatering we tried fresh mulberry juice also! will visit again!

The experience was good. Property is very big also the food is good. I visited with my family and those 2 days were amazing.

Location is very secluded… great for people who like silent surrounding… it’s next to forest as such… there is no valley view as such… rooms are very specious…
