We all arrived in a group of 15 members and to my surprise, ground staff were waiting for our arrival. Parking can accommodate TT also. Rooms were very convinient and neat. Room service was timely. In Ground floor, restaurant is there which served fresh and hot dishes. We had two children in the group and they enjoyed a lot! Front office staff Mr. Irshad Husain and group were very cooperative. Overall, nice stay in this Hotel Grand Cascade and now onwards, Chennai visit will have compulsorily Grand Cascade in our list!

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, the experience was far from pleasant. The room size was surprisingly cramped—barely enough space to move around comfortably, let alone store luggage. It felt more like a closet than a guest room. What made things worse was the persistent bad smell in the room..

Terrible Stay

Rooms had cockroaches, bed hight was high than normal, that was uncomfortable for my lady colleague. Room service was pathetic, they provide spoon/fork or tissue paper only on request else they just send the ordered food in quarter plate without realising it will be uncomfortable for guests to take the starters from the plate. Staff is completely non- courteous, no smile no assistance. I asked manager the distance from Chennai to Mahabalipuram and he told me he is Muslim. My lady colleague was getting her heavy bag from staircase, staff saw it but didn't bother to assist her.

The staff are not friendly and behave rudely with all customers. If we order anything from outside, we have to go down and collect it ourselves. They do not have restaurant service after 10:30 pm, and if we try to order food from outside after this time, our requests are denied
