The rooms were good and big enough. They also provided an extra bed on request since we already had mentioned a child. The food at the restaurant is good and the staff is helpful. The best part about this Grand Continent Mysore A Sarovar Portico Affiliate Hotel is that it’s very close to every (most) destination in Mysore. If not, a rick is available very easily. There are numerous food joints and cafés around. So overall, very nice stay. The only issue is parking because we weren’t told that the underground parking was full and we had to park our car on the road. It worried us initially but the guard on duty was attentive towards vehicles parked on the road.

Located at the heart of the city. Very near to aqua-world (walkable distance, mysore palace & zoo. The facility is very new and the rooms are very neat and clean. The restaurant staff is very friendly and take care of the customers very well. The breakfast is good. Special mention to mr kalaivannan, gm who takes extra care of the customers. Only thing is the underground parking is limited to 7-8 cars. Sometimes you will have to park outside in front of the Grand Continent Mysore A Sarovar Portico Affiliate Hotel.

Great experience. Nice rooms. Food taste is good, variety to improve. Presently on semi open terrace. Except for kannada and few others the rest of tv channels were not available. Had to request the reception to do the needful. Was done after a while. Location is good, not as. Grand as it looks in pics, on a crossroad corner and conspicuous. Carp-ark is small and safe. There is no facility for driver accomodation. Need to think about.

The Grand Continent Mysore A Sarovar Portico Affiliate Hotel is at the hotspot location very near to major attractions like palace, zoo and lake also multiple food options are there in and around and railway station is also at 7 mins distance, the buffet they offered for breakfast and for dinner was great and the staff was very helpful. The only drawback was they didn't have any smoking rooms.

But they have a funny rule which caused an embarrassing moment for me, they don’t allow visitors to the room. In request the staff said they cannot break the rules. Strange they haven’t changed the covid rules yet.

The front desk was helpful in answering all the queries before the booking and during the stay. The location is excellent as you can walk to the palace and zoo among other sightseeing locations.

The room was spacious and neat. The restaurant ambience is good. Food is tasty. Very close to the mysore palace and the dasara exhibition ground. Other main visiting places like the vrindavan gardens are also at derivable distance.
