Grand Hotel

Our search for a cool and spacious family stay in the heart of mumbai has been fulfilled by our stay at grand Grand Hotel, ballard. With clean surrounding of govt offices like mint house, naval dock etc. It a located in a cool place just 1 km out of colaba heart. Wide and clean roads in front facilitate fresh walk. Morning walk from Grand Hotel to marine drive and back is around 5-6 km. Our room is a big one - even after putting one extra bed, we have sufficient space for comfortable living for 5 days. Clean room, linens, bathroom, soft spoken staff are worth mentioning. Old style but well maintained furniture give a different look to the room. Breakfast is low in variety but healthy. Nearby bombay coffee house, hindu south indian restaurant, parsi food restaurant facilitate quality and affordable food within a few steps. Not to mention about proximity to gateway of india, vt station and other tourist attractions. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

Stay at grand Grand Hotel has been really good. Location wise this is in south mumbai, within 1 km proximity of csmt, that too a straight road. This is mainly a corporate Grand Hotel and the location is office area but calm and serene. Room was big, enough for 2 people. Amenities were good. Refrigerator was not working on check-in but was immediately replaced. Check-in was on time, since we reached early, we had to wait for 30 mins or so. Only issue was internet in room where wi-fi signal strength was very weak. Since we were mainly out of Grand Hotel major part of the day, so didn’t use this much. But people who need to work from here, check for wi-fi strength. Taxis are easily available from the front road. Overall it was a nice experience.

The Grand Hotel building looked as i expected of a 1926 built, with huge ceilings, old style lift etc. The staff was very courtous and helpful. However, with an open courtyard water was logged all the time during rainfall and was not either immediatley cleaned, nor a provision to drain out was made. Rooms were clean and good but a hint of gloominess spreads all over it. Food was average at best and breakfast though tasty could improve a bit. However location wise, its been perfect for me to carry out my work and many thanks to the staff for helping me out in finding cabs or giving directions

After we checked in we realised the building is a 101 year old property. Superbly maintained. We choose a family room and it was so spacious we could play football in the room. Cleanliness and maintenance of the rooms were top notch. We had breakfast in our room package and it was impressive too. Small spread but got a feeling of homely food. Staff is courteous and accommodating. No parking available. The entire ballard estate is pay n park. Overall super satisfied with the stay. Wish to stay here in future as well.

Eycellent stay at grand Grand Hotel. Unmatched location, heritage feel and sense of space is simply incredible. Food and general hygiene of the Grand Hotel is at par with most top luxury Grand Hotels in south mumbai where i stayed earlier. Whether travel-ling for business or pleasure grand Grand Hotel does not disappoint at all. Everything you expect in a top notch luxury Grand Hotel plus the heritage and place feel which is irreplaceable makes this Grand Hotel a must try.

Great room, amazing location, food was a bit of a let down but overall great Grand Hotel for sure. If you have some work near cs t then it's definitely worth looking at booking a room here. Do note that whilst the food at the Grand Hotel's restaurant does leave you desiring more and better options, it's by no means bad. The service from the reception and other staff is good and they're very accommodating as well. Overall a great experience for sure!

The Grand Hotel is located at a very prime location. We stayed on a weekend and we saw a movie shooting just outside the Grand Hotel and that is something which is very common in that area. The rooms were neat and clean and are big in size. Staff was polite. Ac in the room could have been better. Overall a very pleasant stay.

It is a well located Grand Hotel that enables you to walk to many attractions in mumbai fort and colaba area (walking to these places better than being stuck in traffic. Hotel staff are courteous. Place is quite picturesque and as a bonus the food served in the restaurant is quite tasty ( though it is a little pricey)

This Hotel is certainly worth the money. Nice old colonial style infrastructure. Excellent services - they cared about everything, including luggage room after checkout and taxi to the airport. Location is 15 mins walking distance to "Gateway of India".

I availed the services from make my trip as i have done this prior also. However, i have not been given tax invoice by Grand Hotel for my stay in spite of providing my official gstn number while booking. Kindly help

It is a great Grand Hotel with all the amenities. It is well maintained and clean. The staff is also helpful and cooperative. The Grand Hotel was very cooperative for the late checkout. I would highly recommend the Grand Hotel if you are staying anywhere near CST. It is very conveniently located.

Hotel rooms are quite spacious. Hotel does not have its own parking but bmc paid parking @200 per night is available. Restaurant is not full fledged.

Location of the Grand Hotel is very good. Enjoyed the stay in the Grand Hotel. Food quality is very good. Ambiance of the Grand Hotel is very good.
