The lobby and reception area is tastefully decorated with antique statues and flowers. A pleasant aroma of insence sticks and sandalwood wafts through the wood polished corridors adorned with vibrant paintings. Innumerable oil lamps are lit in the lobby every evening. After checking in, luggage is delivered to room with care. Rooms are very spacious with a view of the city. Room decor is minimalistic yet elegant. A big working desk with a reading lamp, a plush couch with cushions, sheer curtains, well stocked mini bar, an espresso machine with coffee capsules. There is more than you need. Washroom is spotless and well equipped. There is an outdoor swimming pool, alfresco garden, gym, spa, library and a gift shop within the eight storeyed property. Staff are extremely cordial and helpful. Food at la utsav is delicious. Local as well as international cuisine is available. Breakfast spread is elaborate. Miss feli, mr. Sandip and chef ashok went out of the way to prepare jain food for us (we eat jain food on tuesdays. You can travel to any part of bangalore easily from here. We received a nice gift box at the time of checking out.

It was plesent stay at grand mercure. Highpro: food was great (5) they have variety of options in buffet specially in dinner and most of the items are so delicious that after getting tummy full. We want more. I am planning to visit the place only for dinner again. Lowcon: swimming pool is very small than usual ones. However very less people used it. During my 2 week stay. I have only see 1 person using the pool apart from us. Sometime, you ask something from staff. They never get back to you that this can be done or not. Stay (4. 5) they have lots of room in the Grand Mercure Bengaluru at Gopalan Mall, An Accor Hotels Brand with around 40-50 rooms in one floor and there are 2-3 floors like that and many more. We have executives louge, library and outdoor sitting area by the pool ( which is best place for drink, walk and talk) staff (4) Grand Mercure Bengaluru at Gopalan Mall, An Accor Hotels Brand have very generous staff. All the department have amazing people which take of hospitality very seriously. Specially front desk who are very helpful and quick in their work. Then we have buffet folks, very helpful and always ask about the food. Then we have wonderful room service. They clean the room very neatly and also sometimes have very little surprises for you. Price it is priced according to 5 star. It is average proce among the category. However on few days you can grab very nice deals.

Everything was great from checkin to stay throughout the period. Special thanks to mamatha and laxmi from the front desk for taking good care of us throughout the stay. They really made us feel home. Thanks a million. Few things i can suggest to improvise further being a all time all member. Listen to guest problems - the checkout process was not very helpful, and despite advising the medical condition, we been treated as a checked-out guest by the dm. He was not ready to understand our concern but rather more inclined toward the new checkin guest. Lets be clear: guests are guests, whether they are checking in and checking out. - the bell boys have real attitudes. Doesnt suit the accor standards at all, i am sorry to say. Give guest some privacy and dont follow them everywhere, even inside the lift, without no reason. Overall, it was a good first-time experience. Being in the same hopsitality industry, i would definitely like to connect with gm once i get a chance to see how we may improve on the guest experience. Room though was good but outside ambience of the corridor was not good. Looked secluded and deserted. Reception also didn't update the restaurant about the meela booked. Felt hassled. I have been staying regularly but this time experience in the Grand Mercure Bengaluru at Gopalan Mall, An Accor Hotels Brand was not pleasent. Some basic room amenities like cookies/biscuits or fruits were absent. I had severe migrain and had to take medicine. Requested room service/house keeping for some cookies but they refused saying my room did not have this entitlement. I was hungry and before taking medicine it was absolutely necessary to eat something. Regret. May be next time i will opt for another Grand Mercure Bengaluru at Gopalan Mall, An Accor Hotels Brand.

Room - good service, cleanliness & hygiene. It was very spacious, with a really comfortable work station. The wifi speed was also decent, i had to work for sometime and didn't face any problem. I bed was extremely cozy. Restaurant - food was awesome. We had an a la carte dinner of thai red curry with jasmine rice and aragula cottage cheese salad. Maybe the portion size was a bit on the smaller side, but the quality was top notch. The breakfast buffet was good as well, special mention for pongal, masala chai and croissant. The only negative thing was they serve bottled water. We stayed for a day and had accumulated like 14 bottles (we do drink a lot of water. I think they should definitely replace it with environmentally friendly options.

Our stay here is so nice. Right from rooms to food. We have stayed in a suite which is too good when it comes too food we had breakfast and dinner. Mainly i have to mention chef ashok and bharath r eddy who wishes us when ever we visit for breakfast and dinner and ask your for every details regarding taste and immediately change the food and mr ashok who is really friendly with kids and arranged good food for kid. He is really nice. So i recommend this Grand Mercure Bengaluru at Gopalan Mall, An Accor Hotels Brand and also suggest to meet those chef for changes in your food they will be helpful to do it. Overall it is a great experience here.

Grand mercure was a total revelation. Never stayed anywhere except oberoi and taj in bangalore and the park once but mercure proved better than all the others. The Grand Mercure Bengaluru at Gopalan Mall, An Accor Hotels Brand is beautiful outside and inside - ornate vintage wood and stone structures, the smell of camphor and a live flutist are what greet you first. The rooms are big and beds comfortable. The food was outstanding- we ate the absolute best ham and cheese grilled sandwich here (you just have to try it. The chinese the continental breakfast etc was also great. Very impressed with mercure. Will be back soon. Full five stars!

The rooms and washroom were clean and well maintained, the bed was a little higher than usual could be an issue for old people. There was a library on my floor that i really liked having.

Neat & tidy. Brilliant service and food. Nice property
