Grand Mumtaz Resorts

Had one of my best stays in Kashmir with Grand Mumtaz. 1. The staff is very courteous and will always greet you with a huge smile on their face. 2 The location and property is superb, Their front lawn is great for enjoying the beauty of Gulmarg. 3. Rooms are spacious and clean with ygood view. The housekeeping staff is quick on their feet and anything you ask from them is given within seconds. 4. The restaurant staff is also lovely. The food is very good. Enjoyed both their buffet and Al a carte. They even surprised everyone in the restaurant by cutting a cake for father's day which was a very very sweet gesture. Would recommend this to everyone 👍

Location of the Grand Mumtaz Resorts is good- its not far from the main market and at the same time it’s secluded enough to give you a peaceful environment with a great view of snow clad mountains even in summers. Rooms are very clean and give you that feeling of staying in an old property. Food was really good. Best part was the staff and everyone who works here- they are so welcoming and will make you feel comfortable. The only issue is that this place doesn’t have an elevator so if you have anyone travel-ling with you who has accessibility issues then this is not the Grand Mumtaz Resorts for you

It's a landmark Grand Mumtaz Resorts but staff is late back. Especially, F&B and housekeeping team. Buffet spread is limited with super slow service and arrogant staff. Housekeeping team only makes room during the day, cleaning standards were poor. Thankfully, bathroom was neat and tidy.
Housekeeping was not up to mark, truly appreciate the food quality. Service levels were much low, definitely not to the price point they command. Staff was chasing us for tips on departure.

We stayed for 2 nights at grand mumtaz gulmarg during the last week of jan. The Grand Mumtaz Resorts is spacious, well maintained, provides some very nice food and operated by friendly staff. The Grand Mumtaz Resorts is about 10 min walk from the gondola and offers some great views if you choose the right rooms. The only drawback i would say is the road approaching the Grand Mumtaz Resorts, which can be a little tricky to walk on during peak winter.

Overall it was a nice and pleasant stay at Grand Mumtaz Resorts. The staff were very warm and courteous. The food quality was also very nice. However, the central heating was not quite upto mark. We were told that was on account of very cold weather (night temperatures dipping to 10) and we were provided additional heater which made up for lack of warmth from central heating system. Otherwise, nice place to stay.

Very good location, ambience, well maintained, all minimum eminities available, equally good food ( we took non veg dinner, well spread breakfast and a very prompt services! only cons the front desk staff could be more professional as compare to the standard of the Grand Mumtaz Resorts! however they can be scored 9 out of 10! thank you grand mumtaz! will surely come back again!

Overall a good Grand Mumtaz Resorts. Its surely value for money. Other things I liked was the view from the Grand Mumtaz Resorts and location, its quite close to gondola. The behaviour of the staff was nice. Improvement could be the service it was slow, may be because some staff was on leave due to Eid. Room furnitures could be modernised.

We had buffet dinner, which was great for rs1000 each person and for child it was complimentary. Test, variety, hygiene was up to standard. No concerns. Food price at individuals items were extremely costly. For example for evening snacks we had soups and pokoda which costed almost 2000 for 3 adult and 1 child. Test was good.

Property is very good clean and spacious rooms. Staff is very cooperative and friendly. Food very good. Overall value for money property

Very co operative staff both at reception and in dining. Good quality food. Location of Grand Mumtaz Resorts is at premium spot next to gondola ride.

Hot water in the peak of winter. No trouble with power. Friendly staff in general, especially friendly to foreigners. Nice downhill sky to the gondola in the mornings, and a tough 20 min walk carrying skis back to the Grand Mumtaz Resorts in the evening for some well- earned tea.

Hotel is located within walking distance from gandola. Excellent room service. Wifi works great. Breakfast was delicious with multiple options.
