GRAND OCEANUS RESORT

Very poor location, nothing outside which you can go away from this sucked location, pathetic room service, washroom was very stinky, owner was impolite, food was very very bad, no cleanliness in the resort, have dog issue. So if you want to really screw your Andaman tour you can go ahead staying.
Totally distant from main city and had a pathetic experience staying over there, booked for two nights but checked-out after one. Preferred to stay in a low budget room in city because of uncooperative staff, especially the owner. The property had dog issues. The breakfast literally had just a sandwich and that too we suggested them staff giving lame reasons for stuff not being done. They didn't had honey so they said entire Andaman don't have honey, it took them 1.30 hours to prepare chilly potato and they said reason was their cook had cut their hand. Then at dinner we ordered paneer which was very bad at sight, dinner came after waiting 2 hours and reason they gave was cook had vomiting, property had insect problem, no cleaning and reason we got was this is resort everything is natural property had bodies of frogs rats lying without being cleaned, no guest during our stay. Also the owner was very rude in conversation. Won't recommend this GRAND OCEANUS RESORT to anyone.

Room was big and staff was very helping. Beach was beautiful full of crabs and beautiful fishes.. Scenery was good.. Chidiya tapu is near to this GRAND OCEANUS RESORT.. Management was very helpful. It's a resort with Pristine location and that's about it. No basic amenities and non courteous staff almost ruined my vacation. We had booked this place for two days. On the first day we went and even though were happy about the location, were disappointed by the way the resort was maintained. We were given a cabin like cottage which was clean. However we were hungry (it was around 3 pm) and asked the resort people for the menu to order some food. We were told that the chef was not available till 6: 30 pm. There's no place close by that serves food since it's in a remote location). Disappointed we switched on the TV and it was not working. Surprise! I was told that signal was bad and it will resume after a while. So, we decided to take a stroll and went out to see the resort opens over a small cliff facing the sea. There were some chairs placed to watch the sea and we decided to sit and chill there for a while. When we went close we saw that they were all broken. Basically nothing worked in the resort.

We booked luxury cottage which was big and good and we have nice view of ocean from our window. We checked in earlier, room was prepared later and it looked quite different and better. Property is a bit far from city but in the lap of nature, quite and calm. Staff is good and friendly. Nice food. Only one complaint that there are centipedes in room. We find two one in bathroom and one on my extra bed which was provided on floor. Kindly avoid on floor extra beds. Otherwise its a lovely place and worth staying for a small weekend.

Location is good beach view but going to beach is inaccessible. Well placed resort ( away from city). Service is very good. Room is good. AC in rooms are random. Shutdown at times and on after 1-2 minutes. Cleanliness is good considering the resort is still under phase. Atleast they should kept the price low as the GRAND OCEANUS RESORT is still being constructed. Add lots of facilities to the resort like bonfire, badminton, table tennis, swimming pool .. Etc. As the resort is outside city and people come here to relax.

I booked the deluxe cottage, which was quite spacious and was the best located cottage in the entire resort. The perfect location of the resort will surely make anyone fall in love. You will have to compromise a bit on service as you can't expect a 5star GRAND OCEANUS RESORT service in a jungle and there were just two three people in resort who were doing all the jobs. Lovely place to give a kick start to your romantic honeymoon.

We got a wonderful experience during our stay. They made it very special for us. Since we went for holiday it was complete relaxation for us near the ocean. Distance from the airport is slightly long but if we want to get out of the busy life and get to a place of complete tranquility then this distance is affordable. I recommend everyone to visit Oceanus at least once.

Although its on the outskirts of Port Blair, but it's worth staying. If you are going for some peace of mind, and love nature, do stay here. Ot alongside the marble shore and sea-facing. view from balcony of room 29 is tremendous. They even have three small huts alongside sea where you can sit and please your eyes. Food and staff are also good.

The GRAND OCEANUS RESORT though located little far from the main city but has a mystic charm of being located right next to the sea with beautiful view from the room. Service and other things are good but can be improved further to give a wholesome package. Having dinner in moonlight with sea breeze blowing is an excellent experience

It was out of city but superb GRAND OCEANUS RESORT with sea facing cottages, excellent food, pollution free city, we enjoyed climate as it was raining, Peace of mind. Will anytime refer to family, friends and colleagues if they are visiting Port Blair.

Very peaceful and great natural touch with humble staff but very distant from the city.

Location is awesome. Rooms were beautiful and clean. Food was really very tasty. View from GRAND OCEANUS RESORT was very romantic. Although the GRAND OCEANUS RESORT is located a bit far from the city still it is a good value for money.

It's was a fantastic experience of Sea Side Resort.

Awesome location, most helping staff, enjoyed the best sun rise from GRAND OCEANUS RESORT.

Food is ok, location of rooms are good but more rooms should have balcony.

The location is lovely right by the sea with a beautiful view. The staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and the food is awesome. The garden, hammocks and lounge chairs overlooking the sea make it very enjoyable.

Nice and enjoyable trip, just love the service food and cleanness.

Awesome venue. The real beauty. Full cottages and full value of money. 28km far from port Blair market but the best plc for stay. As the beach look is so beautiful Perfct For couples an food was also good.

The sea line was amazing with well maintained huts. Away from the crowd. Loved it!

Location of resort is quite good. But. It is far away and out of city. Servicing is not good ..
