Grand Palace Hotel and Spa

We had travel-led to yercaud with a family of 5. We stayed at grand palace resort which is at top of a hill. Reaching there was not so easy and comfortable as the ghat roads are not good. Below is my feedback on the resort. *food* the food at the resort was generally satisfactory, with a not a good variety of options available for all meals in case you are looking for various options. The breakfast buffet offered a nice selection of both western and local dishes, and the made-to-order stations were a highlight. However, there were some inconsistencies in the quality and freshness of certain items, particularly the fruits and pastries. Additionally, the dinner options seemed somewhat repetitive, and we felt that there could have been more variety in the evening menus. Overall, while the food was decent, there is room for improvement in terms of quality control and diversification of offerings. *location* the location of the resort was absolutely stunning, nestled amid-st lush greenery and offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. It truly felt like a secluded paradise, providing the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The serene atmosphere created a sense of tranquility and relaxation, and we thoroughly enjoyed exploring the nearby nature trails and scenic viewpoints. However, the resort's remote location also posed some challenges in terms of transportation, as it was quite far from the nearest town. While the isolation added to the overall charm of the experience, it may not be ideal for guests seeking easy access to amenities and attractions outside of the resort. You will have tough time with mobile signals as it is hill area so you will not get much and resort wifi signals are weak too. *services* the services provided by the resort staff were generally excellent, with friendly and attentive personnel always willing to assist. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and we were warmly welcomed upon arrival. Housekeeping did a commendable job of keeping our room clean and tidy throughout our stay, and any requests we made were promptly addressed. The on-site amenities, such as the pool and spa facilities, were well-maintained and offered a luxurious experience. However, there were a few instances where we encountered minor issues, such as delays in receiving room service orders or difficulty in getting reservations at the restaurants. While these were relatively minor inconveniences, they did detract slightly from the overall experience. Overall, we were impressed by the level of service provided by the resort staff, but there is still room for improvement in terms of efficiency and communication.

It's qualified into one of our favorite Grand Palace Hotel and Spas we have ever stayed in, just amazing! the location is unparalleled - perched on a cliff, the Grand Palace Hotel and Spa has several outdoor areas to relax with stunning views of the valley. We were welcomed with local jaggery coffee, which was refreshing and relieved us from the travel fatigue. We booked a premium room with a balcony. The room was spacious and overlooking a beautiful lake and the city. Everything was very well organised. From the concierges to the restaurant staff, all were very friendly and helpful. On arriving, we came to know that the Grand Palace Hotel and Spa gives complimentary milk and khichdi (unlimited) for the kids every day. It was my daughter's birthday so we requested the chef to make us a cake. The request was obliged at a very short notice and was delicious. It's a testament to the Grand Palace Hotel and Spa's commitment to providing a top notch exeprience to its guests. The breakfast buffet was great with a wide spread menu and a live counter. The food was amazing and we relished it. A special shout out to nithiya, khusboo, shankar & mahadevan. The staff was very friendly and catered to all our needs. We're thoroughly impressed, and without a doubt, we will be returning soon.

Got a good deal on mm t for sunrise rooms. There are so many rooms categories and many of them seem to be the same and it's kinda confusing. The Grand Palace Hotel and Spa is located on top of a hill so you are surrounded with mesmerizing views all around and at all times. The main building is quite old but maintained to an extent. There is renovation work going on at the upper floor so you may be disturbed with machinery noise once a while. The room had some issues which should be checked by the staff before check in. I had a lose toilet seat, health faucet not working properly, and a broken bed lamp however staff was quick and attentive and fixed it on a short notice. The price i got was acceptable otherwise the price off season and on weekdays may sound on the pricier side. Coming to the facilities, they have a spa, children's play area, indoor games, 2 restaurants, bar & lounge, swimming pool, adventure games, bonfire. They also arrange activities whole day and in evenings though i didn't attend nor see any. The buffet breakfast is really good and lifts your mood and spirits for a long day. Special thanks to dharani the trekking guide, and davidson for being so helpful. Would definitely recommend this place and spread the word.

We stayed at this property for 3 days. Our experience was a mixed one. The food at their restaurant was the best one in yercaud. We just loved their food taste and the restaurant ambience was very good, with their staff very courteous. The valley view from the Grand Palace Hotel and Spa lawn area was the best and we just enjoyed the views and the fresh air from the valley. But the room was just above average. The rooms were not that clean, and the water in the bathroom was in brown colour for 2 days. The last day, it was normal. The bathroom drain was clogged and the water was not draining properly. Though the staff attended the drain issue, these things should have been checked prior to allocating the rooms to the guests. The Grand Palace Hotel and Spa staff were courteous and were prompt. The bedsheets were bit dirty. Overall, i would say that if they improve their room cleanliness and the room related issues, then i would recommend this property for a pretty decent stay.

The Grand Palace Hotel and Spa is situated on a hillock and provides stunning views of the yercaud range around the property. The rooms are adequate and the service is average. Some part of the Grand Palace Hotel and Spa is under renovation, so get used to some shoddy views inside. Has two restaurants, orange and altitude. We enjoyed the dinner at altitude catering italian menu. Their wood fired pizzas were best. Orange is more indian and the only thing we liked was their dosas. The road leading to the Grand Palace Hotel and Spa is poorly maintained, especially the entrance of the kamaraj road. Don't depend on the Grand Palace Hotel and Spa staff to direct you, they will be equally lost. They have adequate parking and valet help. Overall, lovely views and some enjoyable moments with the food.

Our recent stay at Grand Palace Hotel in Yercaud was one of our life time's best stay. Our rooms as the name says as Sunrise rooms, really does justice to it. From the Grand Palace Hotel and Spa we had 360° Valley view and that was breathtaking experience. Can't explain in words. Infinity pool with the valley view was heaven on earth experience. Located near to the lake and hence travel to the important locations was very easy. Restaurant at the Grand Palace Hotel and Spa was a separate topic for discussion and appreciation all together. Food was very very tasty and Staffs were very courteous. The stay has become our best stay of our life time. Highly recommended

A very beautiful resort located at a hilltop. You can spend 1-2 days in the resort itself. There are numerous viewpoints, games, adventure, trekking trips, bonfire all within the resort. Mountain and valley views are amazing. Rooms are very luxurious, clean and spacious. Sunrise can be seen on one side of the resort and sunset on the other. The infinity pool is a highlight. It was just woww. Breakfast was also good with good variety. Only thing, the menu for normal dining (lunch/dinner) has limited options. But the taste was really good. Do try their fried icecream. Would definitely stay here every-time i visit yercaud.

Stayed at grand palace Grand Palace Hotel and Spa, and enjoyed the stay. I found the Grand Palace Hotel and Spa staff very cordial. Location of Grand Palace Hotel and Spa is very enticing, you’ll have hill view from front as well as from back of the Grand Palace Hotel and Spa. They org-anise various activities for children. So it’s good for children also.

Stayed for 2 days. Excellent location - on top of a hill, good scenic view. Hotel is maintained cleanly, room service is very good and responsive. Food at orange restaurant is good and tasty, but very expensive. Overall a good place to stay and relax, if willing to spend, double the rate comparing to other normal Grand Palace Hotel and Spas.

Property is on a hill top, with stunning views. Lot of activities for kids and families. Had a lovely time

Hotel stay was good, food at Grand Palace Hotel and Spa altitude is great. Staff is humble and helpful. Rooms had electricity fluctuation problem and wifi was not working.

Excellent place to stay in yercaud with all amenities. Best part of the resort is the location and a special mention on altitude restaurant.

The stay was just perfect, the weather was good too(in septa welcoming staff, neatly maintained room. The restaurant and bar everything was perfect. The view was awesome from the lawn, altitude bar n kitchen and the infinity swimming pool! loved the stay @ the grand palace.

Had a fabulous stay dis weekend @ grand palace resorts & spa yercaud, courteous & friendly staffs to mention a few dilip kumar and dharani raj, clean and well furnished rooms, good food, variety of amenities like swimming pool, spa for adults and indoor and outdoor activities for kids, had a great thrilling trek (conpilementory) accompanied with a guide, entertainment activities during night bonfire may be added. Overall a great stay. Thank you grand palace resorts and spa.

Excellent resort for family and friends. Room was neat and clean. Staff was really helpful. Parking is available. Infinite pool is really good. Food is good and expensive. The resort is present on peak of a hill, so the surrounding view are beautiful. A perfect getaway for weekend.

Ambience is too good and location. Pool view also too good hospitality fantastic. Newly extended amenities also good. Overall experience is excellent.

From make my trips app, stay good, food too expensive, not much to cost, hospitality good, safety good, delay in supping food, buffet is good but table supply is not that much good
