The location of the Grand View Hotel is impeccable, offering breathtaking views that added an extra layer of charm to our stay. The fantastic view from our Grand View Hotel room was nothing short of spectacular. Waking up to such a stunning panorama added an extra layer of magic to our stay. The strategic location of the Grand View Hotel allowed us to witness nature's beauty unfold right from the comfort of our room. The Grand View Hotel staff's exceptional level of service played a significant role in making our visit memorable. They were not only courteous but also remarkably helpful, ensuring that every aspect of our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their attention to detail truly stood out. 2 nights stay location: grand view inn, dalhousie landmark : near dalhousie bus stand ratings property- 5/5 ambience- 5/5 rooms - 5/5 ( heritage wing) as we stayed here. Food - 5/5 buffet spread for breakfast and dinner was lavish. Service - 5/5 in depth details- selecting grand view inn via make my trip was like a lottery for us. We never thought this would be the best in our entire trip. On arrival from amritsar we were quickly picked by the battery buggy driver and he took us to reception area which is at elevation. Welcome drink was served on arrival and in seconds we were at our room. The room was heritage one with all furnishings in best stage. Big enough to accommodate 2 adults and 1 kid. The room will not have an over view to the valley, still u can manage it with the corridor view. The view from corridor is superb and mind blowing. Rooms are fitted with best electric warming system. We opted for breakfast and dinner package. The best lavish arrangement was there for both occasions. The spread was superb and lavish. All in house items were tasty and reminded us of north indian cuisine. ( idili and sambhar is served during breakfast. Chinese and local himachal dishes were also served. Live music available during dinner time. F&b manager mr rana was very interactive. In-house bar also available. Management- very friendly. Inf-act i found the owners interacting themselves with guests. Which is the best way to make one feel more happy and satisfied. Recommend place for families to visit whenever they are planning and trip to dalhousie.

We were a group of 8 with 3 senior citizens and 1 child. The Grand View Hotel staff had already dispatched a few porters to carry the luggage and they also had a battery operated cart to ferry guests to the entrance as the Grand View Hotel is located on a small hill and the access road is too narrow for a car to go. The rooms were large, warm and well ventilated with a splendid view of the mountains. The room and bathroom were cleaned everyday and fresh towels were always given. One small suggestion would be to add a night lamp to navigate the room in the dark. During dinner there was a local musician playing and singing old hindi songs which created an amazing atmosphere, so much so that we stayed back after dinner to listen to the music. There were many options during the buffet and all the food was delicious. The staff were ready to serve warm and fresh rotis when we asked. During dinner we were greeted by the owner who asked us how we were enjoying our stay and if we needed anything. This was an unexpected and great act of hospitality which made the stay more memorable. Breakfast was also good and healthy with many options. The staff were polite throughout the duration of our 2 night stay and were very helpful. This was truly one of the best Grand View Hotel experiences we have had.

A heritage Grand View Hotel located just next to the bus stand, easy walk to gandhi chowk and subhash chowk. Huge rooms, reminders of the vintage british era, still retaining their old world charm. Antiquated fittings add to the charm and are working and well maintained. Almost all rooms provide a scenic view of the mountains ahead and the valley below. A lovely large garden with colorful flowers and adequate seating overlooking the valley is an ideal place to sit and enjoy the view. But most important is the staff and their hospitality. Mrs. Radhika chaddha the owner, makes it a point to personally greet all guests at dinner time and enquire about them. Breakfast and dinner are included in the tariff and you can feast on a sumptuous buffet breakfast every morning. Dinner features a live karaoke singer and a terrific menu. The restaurant team under the guidance of their manager ajay rana is permanently attentive and always at your service. Mr. Rana is a fine gentleman who somehow seems to be able to sense what you might be wanting and it's there for you before you can ask. It was a memorable stay and a pity that it was so short. Will be overjoyed to visit again and enjoy the property.

Our experience with Grand View Hotel grand view dalhousie was simply awesome. Lovely property that reminds one of the exotic colonial-era large bungalows, fitted with plush interiors, exquisite wood works, beautiful garden and everything kept sparkling clean. The view of dauladhar range from the garden is awesome. Enough cosy sitting arrangements were made in the garden to enjoy the view. Each member of staff from the receptionist, room service people, porters, the golf cart driver who would relentlessly drive the guests to and fro, from reception to the mainroad down slope, around 100 metres ahead every body were courteous, helpful and eager to make guests feel comfortable. The restaurant manager comes and greets every single guest during dinner and breakfast and asks if they are comfortable. By the way, do not miss the dinner at the large dining room. It's superb! and also the bonfire at terrace! the owner, graceful and dignified, mars chad-ha greeted every single guests during dinner which was simply wonderful. We would like to visit dalhousie again and obviously stay in this property only.

Great Grand View Hotel to stay at dalhousie, the view of the room was spectacular, beautiful mountains and beautiful view of sunset from the room the Grand View Hotel restaurant's ambience along with good food and music was the highlight. The manager mr. Rana was available to take up any concerns throughout our stay with a bright smile he welcomes every single guest each day personally during breakfast and dinner it was a suprise to speak to owner of the Grand View Hotel mr chadda, he too made sure our stay is comfortable and pleasant Grand View Hotel staff is great and welcoming, honey singh was there to help us with our room service and during buffet the room service cleans room on the daily basis, the non veg food is great with limited menu. The Grand View Hotel is situated near bustop and taxi stand so there are options to choose can for travel its perfect place to relax and it's peaceful and great experience of mountains even in month of april the temprature did not cross beyond 15 degree

होटल के स्वामी द्वारा इस प्रकार व्यक्तिगत रूप से संपर्क करना एवं कुशल क्षेम पूछा जाना सुखद भी था और आश्चर्यजनक भी। जीवन में इस प्रकार का ये प्रथम अनुभव था। होटल की वास्तुकला अनुपम है। खिले हुए फूलों की सुंदरता देखते ही बनती है। नाम के अनुरूप ही होटल से दिखने वाले दृश्य अत्यंत ही मनोरम हैं। तंबोला, टेबल टेनिस, पूल, कैरम तथा डीजे, जैसी निशुल्क सुविधाओं के कारण सदैव रोचकता बनी रहती है। कर्मचारी गण सभ्य एवं विनम्र हैं। खाना स्वादिष्ट है। कहीं घूमना न भी हो तो भी मात्र इस होटल में रहने के लिए ही डलहौजी आया जा सकता है।

Our stay at the Grand View Hotel was a mesmerizing experience. Staff was too good. Full feel at home factor. Delicious food with personal customisation. Beautiful surroundings. Valley view we had opted for this countless times and every time we felt the same.

It was amazing experience. Their food was just next level their services were amazing. Have battery cars to go to reception or to go down. As the name worth of the view that is grand view. The stay was very comfort but one minus point is it is not near the mall road or gandhi chowk. If u hv personal vehicle then it's ok but for us to go to gandhi chowk by foot is bit difficult. Rest Grand View Hotel is just amazing but bit costly.

Very comfortable stay, excellent and prompt service. I was especially impressed by the way the staff went out of their way to make us feel at home. Food is very good too!
