Grange Resort

First of all it's a great experience in the Grange Resort during the stay. The atmosphere is excellent, the cottage had sufficient privacy and far away from city and feels like v are living in forest, because it's covered full of coffee and orange palntation and lots of trees. I booked the resort after seen its a 2 star property resort. But I'm very much disappointed at the time of check in because they are giving just a 3rupees 50 paise medimix soap and I just wondered it's a 2 star property or a cheap lodge, very bad experience. And the cleanliness of room is average, the towel they are given is very old and v can't use it. The water came in the bathroom is not good, one bad smell is coming and looks dirty. I don't know why. If you expect only the atmosphere not the facilities means select this resort, else if you need cleanliness and good service means go anywhere. Giving 5 star only for the atmosphere. For all others is zero. But my opinion is RS. 2500 is worth only for the atmosphere

Stayed in the luxury cottage for a night. Actually two types - One with glass roof on bath rooms which was good and had a better ambiance than the other type of cottage. Good location in the midst of nature. Sit out opening to coffee, orange and jackfruit plantation is excellent. Night was fabulous with fog followed by rain. Staff were courteous. Tried only vegetarian food and it was excellent. Reasonable too. One Ajay in the restaurant was particularly helpful and was very friendly with the kid. Rooms were clean and hot water whenever needed. Shower can be better giving a better flow of water. Less activity to do inside resort. Could not try the quad bike ride nearby but it appeared interesting. There is a shop inside selling good bags and cloths at a reasonable price. Overall a good experience and would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay. We had booked 2 deluxe rooms. They were quite spacious and clean. There's TV if you want. There's not much of site seeing, so it's good to enjoy the resort and spend some time here. Pros: close to nature, within the plantations, clean spacious rooms, restaurant available descent food. Cons: little far from citycenter or Lake, about 2.5 kms. We could walk. But you may need an auto for each trip. The resort pool can call them for you but that person charges. Staying with nature, so there are mosquitoes and insects but didn't trouble us much if you stay indoors or use repellents. The blankets smelled damp but you can get it changed. If you want some alone peaceful time, this is a lovely place, at times scary as in the woods.

The best part of this resort is the calm serenity that pervades it. In spite of it being almost houseful we didn't feel the crowd. We stayed in the luxury cottage #15. The cottage was well-appointed, spacious with a wonderful sit out over-looking the coffee estate. Room service is charged at an extra 20% serving only snacks and beverages. Food was quite tasty. They have an activity center a short distance away where you can try your hand at zip-lining, rope-walking or ATV rides, great if you are in a large group or have children with you. The staff are very courteous and are obliging to most of your requirements. All in all a comfortable stay. PS: Advised to keep doors and windows shut as there are mosquitoes and ants in abundance.

This is one of the great places to spend quality time with family. It is a great place for relaxation and unwinding. The best thing about this is lack of mobile network. There is almost no Airtel and Vodafone network. So no disturbance. Good weather, nearby ATV track and a great boutique is what keeps your family engrossed across all ages. Trying going for simple food veg/non veg and you would enjoy the nice taste. Some of the things that could be improved is the general upkeep of the whole premise including the trees. There seems to be some kind of infection on most trees/ plants and they don't seem healthy. Also activation of Swimming Pool will give some more things to do. To summarize an overall great experience.

This was our second visit to Grange resort. The first one was in 2013. We felt the wow experience in 2013 but now it was an average resort in a super location. The resort maintenance has dropped to a great extent but the service quality of staff and security are top notch and nothing to complaint about. The staff is aware of the maintenance and conveyed that there is a major plan in place to improve the resort itself. While the resort itself needs a complete makeover to justify the price, kudos to the Grange Resort team for maintaining the service quality and security. Looking forward to visit the resort next time in its completely new renovated form soon.

We had a very good stay at the Grange Resort. The Grange Resort is in a coffee estate and staying here appeared as if we were in the midst of a forest. The environment is calm and pristine and could feel as part of nature. Food is not delivered to your cottage and one has to have it in the restaurant. This is not a problem, but it becomes one when it rains. The staff should be trained to be more customer friendly and should not wear a dull and tiring look on face. The resort also has a small park where we enjoyed spending our evening times there. Overall it was a wonderful experience staying in the Grange Resort.

The property is an excellent place for those who love nature. It is located amid-st lush green coffee plantation. There is a lot of scope to improve the hygiene and general upkeep of the property. The bed-covers were very old and torn, the rug was smelling (could be because of rainy season. The balcony of the cottage #16 and #17) was not cleaned properly. There was no temperature checks during check-in, and many of the resort staff were not wearing masks. Good that there were hand sanitizers kept at the reception and dining area.

Great place to stay with family or friends

Very good location surrounded by coffee estate. Service requests attended immediately. Food was good and variety needs to be increased. Can have indoor activities for kids, campfire also is suggested, restaurant needs more attention and swimming pool can be renovated.

Good drive, good walk, nice ambience, nice food. I feel like home.

Great location inside a private coffee plantation. Big area to walk around and enjoy nature within the plantation. Big garden/ lawn and all individual cottages with a nice sit out. Beautiful arrangement and friendly staff. Highly recommended for stay with Family. Couple of kilometers from the lake. Away from the town hustle bustle yet next to it. Undisturbed and serene environment. We enjoyed our stay and will surely book a stay again whenever we happen to come to Yercaud.

Staff was very cooperative, taste of food was too delicious, fast delivery of food.

Resort was really good. A little costly on food.

Staff are wearing mask and allowing guests at different time slot for dining. The resort has limited rooms and as per them they ensure 24 hours gap between each booking for a room. Also they operate with less staff as required. It was a nature merged feel. The coffee plantation and trees around with silent ambience makes you feel so relaxed.

Location and stay is good but front office doesn't have any info beyond resort for points visits. Staff people are good and cooperative. They even allowed me inside to cook for my baby. Thank you. Liked the location and place very much. Points near Yercaud town are not at all clean but if you go little far they are very beautiful.

Its good & felt comfortable .. Enjoyed the whole trip. Grange resort is situated in coffee estate .. They served good food .. Breakfast, lunch, dinner everything is good and served with good hospitality ... But we have to go to restaurant to eat there is no room service ..

Very nice location and room we stayed in a luxury cottage and room had enough space for an extra bed. Food at the restaurant was very tasty. Water heater available. No room heater, however they will provide extra blankets at extra cost. Staff was very friendly and always ready to help. Overall experience was very good!
