I recently stayed at green carpet matheran, and it was an exceptional experience. Nestled amid-st lush greenery, the Green Carpet Homestays, Matheran offers a peaceful retreat from the city's hustle. The stay at Green Carpet was absolutely amazing 🤩 and the owner was incredibly helpful and accommodating. It is located at a walkable distance from Matheran station and we can get all the modes of transport available there like Horse, Electric Auto, kuli, toy train, handcart and even can be reached by walking. In case of any trouble we can call the owner to guide. The room was unexpectedly clean and comfortable and the breakfast and dinner was delicious. I would highly recommend this stay for anyone visiting Matheran.

Very neat and clean room as well as bathroom and the owner leady was so kind and helpful it is 1 km hardly 10 to 15 minutes from aman lodge and main market the morning sunrise view can be seen balcony area at around 6:30 am and the mariya point also very close to these locations from there also we can see sunrise overall experience was excellent and and can be recommended for family and individuals.

A lill difficult to find the location as it's a no network zone. Decent stay , proper homestay. View is great but very limited exposure.No tv available. Very good service and room are very nit clean our experience was excellent.

The rooms are clean with good hospitality. They also make sure to check on guest if they have returned to their rooms safely at night. You can also request for home cooked food in prior upon request.
