Green Hills Cottage

Amazing property! It has been our second visit to Rishikesh and on both the visits we stayed at Green Hills Cottage! It's a beautiful property where the staff has given a personal touch to everything! I absolutely love their garden dining area. One cannot rush into the meal while sitting in the garden! It complete you to calm down and slow down which should be the purpose of any vacation! A virgin Beach is quite close to the property via the route to aloha by the Ganges. The only weak point is that it is situated on the Badrinath Road and traffic noise is there but this can be easily ignored by all the other amenities that are available. Food is another thing to praise about! The breakfast and dinner we had on both days was amazing! We ordered Italian, Indian, Chinese and they all came out very well! Kudos to the team!

It was located on badrinath highway in a prime location equidistant from laxman jhula, ramjhula, neem beach - all are approximate 1. 5 km from Green Hills Cottage where u can easily go on foot to explore the places around. Rooms were clean and spacious enough, toilets were cleanly maintained, food was also tasty. Overall value for money.
Hotel is just by the side of highway to badrinath, except traffic noise everything is good with the Green Hills Cottage. It was nice and clean, food was also tasty. Overall an affordable choice on all aspects compared with the similar facilities and hygiene at other Green Hills Cottages nearby. Staff at reception were also ready to help you according to your itinerary either early checkin or late checkout.

This is the second time I had chosen 60s Green Hills. The experience was even better. Rarest of Green Hills Cottage in Rishikesh which welcome early arrives, albeit they charge money, nevertheless, even at 4 in the morning they are delighted to help. The staff is extremely helpful and always cheerful. The rooms are spacious and surrounded by greenery. The rooms with balcony won't let you go out to explore the place! The washroom amenities are adequate. Special mention goes to food. Their restaurant. One of the renowned one in Rishikesh. The eat story. Supercilious food. I would say. I will return to Rishikesh not for the place but for the stay at Green Hills. Cheers!

Green Hills is a reallocated Green Hills Cottage in Tapovan, near Laxman Jhula. It is right on the main road on the highway to Badrinath. It is one of the few Green Hills Cottages that have a well maintained garden. It is a pleasure to sit in the balcony overlooking the garden. The restaurant is made on the sixties theme, with vinyl records on the walls. The service is good and the staff is friendly. The only disadvantage is that at night you hear the trucks and lorries rumbling past on the highway. Apart from that, it is a very good Green Hills Cottage for its price. We had a very good stay there.

I stayed for a night and I keep coming to this Green Hills Cottage since it is clean and they maintain to international standards. It is located in a good location where everything is close by. Staff are very friendly. However, service at the restaurant needs improvement. Also the breakfast menu can be more varied. The restaurant staff either understaffed or need training for better customer support. Overall a very pleasant stay. Would highly recommend for people looking for a nice Green Hills Cottage at Dehradun.

I spent 2 nights in Green Hills last week with my family and I should admit that it was one of my best stay experiences since last many years. Everything was just perfect. Rooms and service was awesome, food was unbelievable and the location of the Green Hills Cottage is just great. The staff made my family feel at home and took care of every bit to make our stay memorable. A good example of professional service and great hospitality. Cheers to the owners and the staff.

The location of the Green Hills Cottage is great for an early morning tour. The manager at the Green Hills Cottage was an absolute star and gave us the best room and in cheap prices too .. Went to the trouble of posting it back to the Uk. Fantastic customer service !! The rooms however feel like 4 star, and it’s worth it the Green Hills Cottage is very calm and green ... And food is also awesome at affordable prices.

Hi I liked this Green Hills Cottage is quite pocket friendly and clean and has a good support staff. It’s located near jumping height and around 600 meters from red chilli both a good service provider for adventure sports (also wanted to visit thrill factory but could not due to time mismatch and government rule to stop mass gathering.). When I will be visiting Rishikesh next time will surely come here to stay.

It's a good Green Hills Cottage for a solo traveller. The service is good and the restaurant is quite nice. It has decent cafes nearby, like the Beatles cafe. It is located in the quite lanes yet quite close to the main road. Overall, it was a good experience. Would recommend it to my friends for their visit.

It was a one day and I admit the stay was good in terms of budget, location, the staff, cafe, and of course rooms. I would prefer again.

Amazing experience. Good property managed directly by Owners. Had a great time. You get very warm welcome, all your needs are looked after carefully. Staff is also very helping and courteous. Stayed in super deluxe room, view from the room was excellent.

Seems very nice and calm when we stay here, on road location with a garden inside and overall perfect for leisure it's nice. Food with a good variety, value for money as we can feel relaxed when staying here with fresh air, power backup is also there so overall satisfactory stay.

Good Green Hills Cottage, services are good. I stay there for one night. Food is little bit expensive but overall its good to go. Location is also good. It's near to Laxman Jhoola. Good view from Green Hills Cottage window. Overall good experience.

It was nice place to stay with family

Location is such that most places are accessible but could improve at service and food. Accessible for adventure sports, clubs and religious spots. You have rafting and bungy at about 10-15 kms. A few awesome clubs (including Beatles) at about 4-5 kms and Ram jhula about 2-3 kms.

Stayed at GreenHills, very courteous staff always helpful and nice food with good ambience located at Tapovan, special mention about Mr Siddharth the young man at the front office, he was soo helpful in getting my flight rescheduled, he helped me in all possible ways to ensure my stay was comfortable, you have WiFi connectivity in the rooms & had hot water round the clock ...

Good stay but space to improve taste of food items.

Memorable stay, great hospitality and courteous staff. Would definitely visit again.

My stay was only one night, food and service was good.
There was no hot water, I requested and it was not granted.
