Green Meadows Resort

The resort was very near to the beach. Just maybe 200 meters. I liked the rooms very much. It made me feel like I was in Kerala. There were not many guests on that day but the room service was not so prompt though. The welcome drink was pathetic and they gave me one mobile number for room service. The electric kettle in my room was not working so I called the room service mobile number but they didn't come to my room even after 20 minutes. When i tried calling them again, they seemed to block my mobile number(because i was able to reach to the room service mobile number from my wife's mobile. There was some photo-hoot happening near my room and few guests had coffee and they kept the cups on the tables at the patio area. Those cups were not taken away until the next day morning! the bar was great and the starters were good. My wife is vegetarian and I'm non-vegetarian. Unfortunately, we didn't find many vegetarian main course dishes(there were only two dishes. So we had to end up going outside for dinner. But the non-vegetarian menu was great. The breakfast was pathetic. They served breakfast in my room. Breakfast was having bread omelet(one per person) and medium bowl-sized up-ma and two cups of tea. Everything was cold!
The patio of our room was not clean. I thought of spending some time at the patio in the morning. But the coffee cups from last day's evening was still lying on the patio. It spoiled my mood in the morning as the surroundings was not clean.

Location and quality of the Green Meadows Resort is excellent. It gives you the authentic kerala feeling and take back to early 80s. Value for money. Good food, good service at restaurant. Though there were lot of positives technically, at the end it become not that good. Was booked for 14th Dec, just to relax from the busy office hours and to get relief from stress. But unfortunately it was not as expected. There were a birthday party that gives lot of noise, DJ in open area near to room, no one ready inform them to reduce the volume even at 11 o clock night. I would recommend management to discourage the booking for rooms when there is a plan for parallel parties. We lost the sleep where our home is less than 20km away from Palavakkam.

Had a pleasant stay at green meadows and especially i love the nature atmosphere here. And the room type. Its a neat and clean place with all safety measures and hygiene for stay. All staffs are down to earth persons and had a very good hospitality. This is the place to enjoy lot with family friends married couples to take lot of photos they have a good parking place and walk around areas like lawn and chairs to sit and chat. Overall a very lovely and attractive atmospheric location. You also have swimming pool to enjoy and also a party hall to conduct functions. One suggestion is to conduct some indoor activities.

Location and room environment is very good. You can't get better than this place at the center of city. But our check in was very bad experience. I booked 2 rooms in MMT and we arrived the resort as a whole family. But receptionist told that only one room is booked as their system was not updated with MMT. After 1 hour MMT resolve this issue and got an extra room. Next drawback is, on our nit stay, resort hosted a party for some company outing it seems. They drank too much in the end and dance with full surround speaker volume. Extremely irritated with so much noise and it almost ruined our peace at nit time.

Very calm and beautiful place to stay. Food is great! staff are very kind, polite and very helpful. Any service needed is immediately responded to. Swimming pool is really big and well maintained. Rooms are spacious and clean. Everything about the resort is really good. I felt just a little entertainment for kids like an outdoor playground or indoor play area is missing. But my kids enjoyed playing in the lawn area which shows that happiness can be found in simple things too. Green meadows is a really good place to relax, eat yummy food and enjoy nature. I am looking forward to more stays here in future.

Loved our stay last 2 days.. very well maintained rooms, lawn and garden. The stay was made extra special because of the amazing food at their restaurant Bay Root! Outstanding fare - Asian, Mediterranean or Indian. Loved it!! It’s a must try restaurant and am sure we would visit many times! Compliments to the chef Vimal Kumar👏👏The service of the staff Muthukrishnan, Nadeem, Mohamed added to the pleasant experience! Have conveyed some suggestions for improvement to the chef - more about adding a few more short eats which are available in in-room dining to the restaurant menu. Keep it up!

The leaflet in the room says shoe shine, bathroom slippers etc are provided in the room. Nothing was available in the room. Mineral water was on chargeable basis. Every resort/Green Meadows Resorts provide basic amenities. Restaurant: 10% service charges were added to the food bills. Besides sgst &cgst they were additionally charging another gst (unheard of) all these contributed to high restaurant bills. Must say the restaurant staff were very good.

Nice ambiance. Nicely laid out property. A touch of heritage architecture. 300 mts to the beach. Nicely tucked away. Soooper food. Nice taste and beautiful presentation. Judging by the crowds in the evening, looks like a popular place even among locals. The key and the winner is the well trained, courteous staff. Overall a fulfilling experience. Would love to come back and also recommend to friends. All the best. Keep up the good work.

The stay was good but the restaurant was not up to the mark. The food options for the breakfast was minimal and not that good enough.

We planned for a quick stay in this resort for ed holidays with family. It was real surprise that the resort is so nice and really we unwinded. From the minute we check in till check out, every moment is good experience. The lawn, garden, rooms, swimming pool, restaurant, service everything is excellent.

Very nice Green Meadows Resort at center of the City room are clean and spacious staff was good but food not allowed in rooms as we are with 1 year baby its difficult to feed in restaurant and outside food not allowed and what we want for baby we cant find in restaurants there is no gym pool was clean.

Although located not far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, the resort was absolutely peaceful and a perfect getaway to spend time with family friends. The staff here are courteous and engaging. A recommended place to stay.

Our family stayed in this resort for 2 days, and we are very happy to have chosen this resort. Glad with the location, greenery, pool, food and service.

Spacious rooms friendly staff very close to the city. But the pool was not very clean. Big grassy out door space.

Good. Interior was really good. Wooden furnishing is different and soothing

The only problem is smell from a nearby area, everything else is just great.

Rooms are small but good enough. Price at restaurant are very high, could be reduced, also the taste of the food are no that much great, it's kind of ok only

High quality staffs, good and warm welcome, good ambience, good and nice and calm location, high class rooms and we'll maintained rooms and indoor and outdoor. Overall a good one, happy and enjoyed our stay.
