Green Peak Resort,Rishyap

Worst experience so far . No basic facilities in so called resort. Staff is very new and have no idea about tourism

1. Excellent location. Great view of Mt. Kanchenjunga and sunrise from bed and balcony . 2. Good transport facility . 3. Excellent homely hospitality and atmosphere . 4. Helpful management ( Mr. Madan and all his family members are great) . 5. Homely and tasty food.

We reach Rishyp at 6 pm from Lataguri via Chalsa, metal tea estate, Lava. We get warm welcome from hotel people. When we enter the room we see well managed and clean room. Toilet is also clean, dry and hygienic. They serve us hot water as per our requirements and also we found a Good hospitality and also homely atmosphere. Rishyap is to cold. But Good location. The dinner is delicious and we enjoy it.

Hotel location is OK, but caretaker mr madan is very rude behave, his attitude towards travelers is unbearable. Bathroom pipe leakage, bathroom not clean. But the owner of the hotel is good when we informed about caretaker behavior he promptly taken action. I suggest not to go in this hotel.

Nice room nice family nice behabiour and nice good food. Nice view .. But some water and electricity problem. With improve ... Very good place for honey moon and good weather. Try to improve the other facility. But nice overwall.

Very bad room quality, Deceptive people. The hotel staff always want to get more money out of you in name of food, service. For example we ordered 2Kg chicken roast and they provided us with only 800gm-1kg roast. Service and location are also very poor. The staffs are not friendly.

Located in beautiful place. But difficult to find location of this hotel. Food quality was good and affordable. The room is lacking very basic amenities. Room heater was costly at Rs. 300/- night whereas the same quality room heater was charged at Rs. 100/- per night at Lava only 7 km away. However, after watching the beauty of Kanchenjunga, everything were digested.

The Rai family is so good, all other deficiencies become secondary. But the hotel must provide the guest with room heater and geyser. These two are bare minimum necessities in a place where temperature is often sub zero in December. The Rai family looking after the guests, is "home away from home".

Service in this hotel is very poor. You will never fill comfortable here. No room heater no geyser. Everytime you have to ask for warm water and you have to carry it from reception to your room most of the time. Very low light inside the room. Very very very bad service. Overall, very poor hospitality. I am frustrated and never come back to this hotel.
