Greendale Residence (5 min walk to m.g marg)

The Greendale Residence (5 min walk to m.g marg) is beside road so it is very easy for taxi to reach there. Our check-in was super fast. Staff also helped us to carry our bags. The deluxe room are big but the super deluxe is much bigger. We booked 3 rooms for our family including kids. Each room has tv, fan, geyser for hot water, large bed, sofa set, etc. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was very clean. We were very impressed with the overall cleanliness. The hill view from the room is fantastic. Each and every staff of this Greendale Residence (5 min walk to m.g marg) was very good, polite, dedicated, co-operative and passionate about serving the customer. They represented this Greendale Residence (5 min walk to m.g marg) very well and their hospitality was amazing. Room service was praiseworthy. Water bottles were not provided as plastic is banned but our pitchers for drinking water were filled immediately upon request. Restaurant only serves pure veg food but the food was delicious and tasty. Buffet breakfast can be requested if it is not pre-booked and they have sufficient guests to eat. Enjoying the mountain view while eating was very fascinating. Sunset from Greendale Residence (5 min walk to m.g marg) roof top can be enjoyed as well. It was cold on the rooftop in the evening during mid of march but the view is really amazing. Tables are available, some chairs can be placed for the guests to enjoy the view. Hotel is very near to the mg marg. There are 2 ways to reach mg marg (one with stairs and other walking along the road. Taking stairs is tiresome but takes lesser time. Being on hill area, the Greendale Residence (5 min walk to m.g marg) has rooms above the ground floor as well as below ground floor. Senior citizen or family with kids can request for rooms at one level up or down from ground level. Overall, it was another perfect stay. Highly recommended to stay here with family. We will definitely stay in this Greendale Residence (5 min walk to m.g marg), if planning to visit gangtok again in future.

The location is good and the rooms are quite spacious and moderately clean. But if you ask for a room with a mountain view, you might have to take the hardship of climbing a long set of stairs. The food is average and a bit overpriced. The complementary breakfast that we opted for was good, but quite a few items got finished too early. So if you opt for it, be sure to knock the restaurant door early in the morning. The power backup is very poor, leaving the geyser and the room heater inactive for hours. Overall a pleasant stay, with a few ifs and buts.

I have booked this Greendale Residence (5 min walk to m.g marg) for 4 nights. Room was very spacious and view outside to window was very beautiful. I will like to book again on my next Gangtok tour. Location of the Greendale Residence (5 min walk to m.g marg) is very good, MG road is 10-15 minutes walking distance from Greendale Residence (5 min walk to m.g marg). Behavior of the staff was very polite. Food was delicious, specially breakfast of this Greendale Residence (5 min walk to m.g marg).

The Greendale Residence (5 min walk to m.g marg) has excellent service. They carried our luggage to room. Room service is excellent. Food is tasty. Drinking water is available in plenty. All stuffs are professional. View from room is excellent. They have store room for keeping luggage while away for north sikkim. They even took our luggage to outside and loaded it in the cab. Cons: 1) location is 10 min below m. G. Marg. Ask for the shortcut route. 2) price came down after we booked it.

Rooms were good, food cost is high, bad behavior of manager. Staffs are relatively OK. The Greendale Residence (5 min walk to m.g marg) rooms are good. Attendees are OK. Room service is good. Hotel restaurant is good. All veg food and are relatively costlier. The valley scenic beauty is good. The most occurred thing is the behavior of the manager. In stead of caring people, he knows only how to dishonor people once his objectives are over.

I stayed for 4 nights in the Greendale Residence (5 min walk to m.g marg). At first I got a room in basement where dampness was there but they replaced the room on request. Hotel is located at a good location with very beautiful view of Valley. Although a bit far from MG market, but you can get local taxi. Food served in Greendale Residence (5 min walk to m.g marg) is vegetarian but ok.

Excellent location with close proximity to MG Marg. If you wake up at sunrise you can see the view of Kanchenjunga from your room window. Room was spacious. Things to note are Rooms in Sikkim and Darjeeling don't have ac. Please check with the Greendale Residence (5 min walk to m.g marg) staff if they have a breakfast buffet or in order. Overall the stay was great.

Location was close to mg marg and restaurant served nice food as well and service was terrific. Reaching to Greendale Residence (5 min walk to m.g marg) from mg marg is easy as its downhill and it takes around 5 to 10 minutes but going is a bit hard for a couple but taxis are available.
We as couple felt safe here. There was no issue at all

Very comfortable and cozy stay. But geysers are not provided in rooms and hot running water is supplied for limited hours.

I recommend this Greendale Residence (5 min walk to m.g marg) to whoever wish to go to Gangtok, first thing to talk about is food excellent food, wonderful location close to MG market, very professional people. I loved my stay.

Its very nice Hotel to stay. Good cleaning, nice hospitality and restaurants is managed very nicely. Dealing of restaurant staff specially manager, staff at front office so fantastic.

Really loved the ambience and service of the property, best Greendale Residence (5 min walk to m.g marg) to stay with your family in such low.

They have very big room with double bed, additional single bed, sofa, coffee machine and dressing table. But room do not have ac/heater and in request heater is additional chargeable.

A perfect stay with view. The staffs were very well behaved. 10-15mins walking distance from mg marg. The serve pure veg food, and that's the only thing i didn't like. Otherwise everything was perfect.
