Greenwoods Resort

My first thanks to the wonderful staff who work in this Resort. They deserve all the respect and credit because they were very helpful and kind throughout my stay. It would be unfair for me to pick a single person as each and everyone deserves all the appreciation because all the staff right from the security to housekeeping were consistently good all 4 days. Check in was smooth, rooms were clean and spacious. We stayed both in Indeevaram and Indraprastham. Both the rooms were large and spotless. Private warm pool in the villas was excellent and it certainly helped us in soaking at Thekkady considering the temperature. Buffet breakfast was good with a live counter and the service personnel at the restaurant were very good. Room service was quick and efficient. I would recommend this property to anyone who requires a peaceful relaxing stay with just crippling of birds all through. There are a lot of activities Around Thekkady which the Resort organizes to guests but we didn't take any of those services since the intent of us going to Greenwoods was different. Self and family with 2 kids did unwind at Greenwoods with a lot of tranquility. I would recommend this property to my friends, family, and colleagues because this place is just awesome. When we booked this property, we were little hesitant as it was costly. Little over our pocket but since it was our first time to kerala - I just booked it. And I now feel happy that I made the booking. One word to describe our stay will be awesome. Starting from welcoming the guests to make them comfortable and taking care of small needs - this resort staff - each and every single staff was superb in their commitment. Never experienced such hospitality before. We just fell in love with everybody. Wow. Our room was upgraded upon our arrival depending on availability. Rooms were nicely ventilated and very clean. The swimming pool was awesome. The staff paid special attention to my 6 yrs old daughter. Full marks to the resort and their staff. I will visit again. Surely.
Location was superb. Property size huge. Maintenance was perfect. Swimming pool was clean and awesome. Food was super tasty. Staff was best I have ever come across. Services was super fast with smile on faces. Staff others great attitude. Smiling faces. Very helpful. Each and every resort staff was excellent, every one just superb. Must stay for everybody. You will not regret it. Worth spending your money.

Beautiful Resort with all modern amenities with a touch of heritage elegance. The cardamom garland and the dry ginger coffee was indeed welcoming. The food was delicious and my elder daughter enjoyed it as the spices were rightly balanced. We had chosen the honeymoon villa as it had the plunge pool and was located away from all the other rooms, giving us the privacy and the feel of a home. They had even arranged a baby cot for my 4 month old daughter though she hardly used it. The room was as expected with a very comfortable bed which was good enough for all 4 of us. The property is very well maintained and the only disappointment was that the tree top coffee shop was under maintenance. The main highlight of this Resort is their staff. Their hospitality is remarkable and each one of them gave their heart and soul to keep the guests happy. They have a special approach to the children and that made our trip even more comfortable. They were always happy to keep the children occupied while we grabbed a bite. A very good Resort for a family traveling with children. We are looking forward to visit their property in Munnar soon.

The reception we received on reaching the Greenwoods Resort was very nice, welcome drink was really welcoming, instead of some sweet juice we got coconut water which was quite refreshing. The staff was very nice, warm and friendly, even before we could realise our daughter 3yrs old was playing with them on swings and the trampulin, which she enjoyed very much. Food was surprisingly very tasty, otherwise you donÂ’t get good north Indian food in south India, dal makhani was very nice. Only concern was they didn't have much of special Kerala dishes on the menu but made for us on special request. The rooms were good & comfortable. I will recommend the Greenwoods Resort to all the parents of toddlers as it's a nice & warm Greenwoods Resort for parents & kids, the staff take very good care of the kids, giving more time to parents to relax enjoy.

The resort, although in town, is a beautiful landscape with many varieties of trees and plants. The staff is friendly and approachable, going above and beyond to accommodate guests. The rooms are spacious, well ventilated and clean with amenities like fridge, cupboard, etc. There are hammocks and a swimming pool too that is well maintained. The only drawback is the sound of crickets throughout the day and night. Since the restaurant is open, these insects seems to be flying around the lights at night. It was not ideal for us with a kid. Also, we saw a play area with toys for the kids but at the resort, there was just a trampoline and 2 or 3 swings. Could have been better if they had something to engage children with.

Lives up to its name, property is filled with greenery consisting of tall trees, coffee, turmeric, other herbs and spices plantations. Has a quaint pet farm that has cows, rabbits, ducks and birds. My daughter just loved visiting there. Well maintained and sanitised property. Delicious food and variety spread. Loved the afternoon tea stall providing the quintessential Kerala experience! Icing on the cake is the delightful service provided by each staff that gave personal attention to every visitor! Special Thanks to Mr Basheer, Mr Shravan, Ms Ashwathy, Master Chef whose name I don't recollect and pet keeping staff Ms Mary. I couldn't have asked for more!

I have traveled a lot across the world but have never experienced such hospitality by the staff. Each and everyone at the Resort was just amazing. They took care of everything. I was traveling with my family. Old parents and a small kid. And they really helped me a lot in everything. Food just amazing. My package included breakfast and dinner and you can order anything from alacarte menu for the dinner. Each and every dish was tasty and the chef spoke to us both the days regarding our suggestion. I would just suggest them to have a spa within the Resort. It makes life easy for us. Thanks a lot to the entire team of Greenwoods. Keep up the good job.

It's unfortunate that we stayed only for some hours in the Greenwoods Resort n had to early check out for some unavoidable reasons but the entire stay was so excellent. We were given a surprise that our rooms were upgraded to a premium cottage and it was awesome. Spacious beautiful view. Food was good n most importantly the behavior of the staffs who were so warm cordial and friendly and especially the guest manager who looked into all our comfort. He made arrangement for our midnight check out and packed us breakfast for the way keeping in mind that we had a baby with us. I would recommend this Greenwoods Resort to all.

Stay was good. The staffs are so good. One suggestion is please check if every thing is working before accommodating guests.

4. The Greenwoods Resort was ok, like 3 star facility but not 5 star. It was not very kid friendly. Our 1. 5 year old had no or little option of food. Rooms are spacious but with old furniture. The wardrobe door was loose, the lamp wiring was having wear and tear and the laundry basket and dustbins were very dirty.

Unexpected receive and great hospitality by staffs. Humble respectful and laughing face. As it was my 2 wedding anniversary trip and the day there made my occasion more memorable really. Thank you greenwoods.

Great people, good food, good room, great welcome superb location, best relaxing place, ambiance and people Bonfire. Greenness good quality food. Best room view. Come with your family and stay for few days. Good in-house activities. Great welcome and check out process.

Welcome was very nice and the Greenwoods Resort had a great location with awesome surroundings but rooms were small so as tv and food was good and due to scare of monkeys, windows could be opened.

Location excellent, food wow but the cost is high. I paid extra charges for my kid's, it's my mistake because I forgot mention my kid's age, so l paid extra money. Overall good to stay green wood.

Had a good stay at Greenwoods with family. Its a 6-acre property with lots of in-house activities which would be a good experience for the family. It is enriched with natures gift.

Slightly overpriced but Greenwoods Resort location and rooms were excellent

Greenwoods resort is situated in the heart of the town but once we entered the resort it was like we are amidst a forest. They have managed to balance nature and luxury. The plunge pool rooms are must for a family vacation. Kudos to the well mannered and hospitable staffs. Looking forward to my next stay in near future.
