Guddadamane Homestay

An amazing place to spend your holidays. Situated in a completely serene environment, Guddadamane Homestay offers you a perfect setting to spend your time amidst nature. Hotel staff is humble, polite and treat you as their own family. Food is a bit costly but food quality is good. There is an option for you to have dinner with bonfire. In total, it is a perfect natural getaway. In terms of sightseeing, it is situated far from the famous tourist spots. You have to come back to Chikmagalur and then go for the spots. The nearest market is Aldur which 20 mins from the Homestay. You have to ask for a rickshaw every time you want to go to the market. It costs for a round trip.

A very beautiful location on the hills. You would immediately like the location - the peace, the greenery of the forest around the estate, and the lining of the hills in the near horizon. The place was clean, the hosts were very hospitable and the food served was sumptuous. A very good place to unwind and de-stress. The rooms could have been a little more cleaner. Stains on the sheets, water dripping from a place in the roof, some windows not closing properly in the cold nights were minor annoying factors. But overall a very good experience. I will highly recommend the place to all.

Clean, beautiful and very well maintained. The host is very kind and always available if you need any assistance in planning your day or anything else. They also provide food and arrange bonfire at extra cost but we did not opt for it.
The place is located 30 minutes away from Chikmagalur and hence if people are planning to visit places around Chikmagalur it is a bit of extra travel but totally worth it. The place is clean, beautiful and very well maintained. If you are planning to spend quite weekend enjoying the estate stay and not much sightseeing, this is the best place.

We'd been to this home-stay with the entire family. The people running it are very sweet and hospitable. We stayed in the new rooms. Food cooked was fresh and the veggies were very tasty. They have 2 very friendly pet dogs. They took us on a lovely tour into their coffee estate and spice garden. We also enjoyed playing games near the bonfire in the night. It was a very pleasant experience living amidst nature, completely disconnected from Wi-Fi and TV and other electronic gadgets and spending quality time with family.

The service was awesome. The location is breathtaking and is in the middle of nowhere. But don't worry Google will take you there. The food is home made and is Uber healthy. The service guy gets you anything and everything you will ever want in two minutes. The nearest town was 8 km. Go there for Tea and some Bajjis. We went there from Chikmagalur by renting a motorcycle. The drive was through the western ghats of India which is something not to be missed. Just get there sit back and relax.

First thing first, this is a home stay. Went with expectations of decent stay. Upon reaching there, was blown away A very well maintained place with great room & facilities. Hosts are amazing & so are the doggies! You can unwind here and be yourself. Superb support by every one. Ravi who takes care of things is so good! Go ask them for what food you need, they will surely help you. Super Homely Food! Will always come back to this place!

My wife and I had booked 2 nights stay here. Nice location and well maintained property. We really wanted to stay in a place where we needn't have to do anything apart from eat and sleep, this place was made for that. I am really grateful for the hospitality provided by the staff and owner of this property. Definitely will visit again and refer this place to my colleagues. Overall had an enjoyable stay at Guddadamane Homestay.

We stayed at this home stay and it was exactly like what we wanted calm, beautiful surroundings and good hospitality. The food was good and host was really warm. We even took a short trip of the coffee estate. Overall it was a good experience. Only on is that it is 45 minus from main city and main city is another 45 mins 1 hour from main tourist spots but if you have a vehicle then you won't mind the drive.

Awesome food and good hospitality, We went on a bike trip and was happy to choose the place having good relaxation time away from city. Good for corporate team events to be conducted as they have a big ground.

Its a very relaxing experience we had, its on weekdays so only our family was there but still the food served was so good in terms of varieties and taste. Location is almost a coffee estate but still the Google maps is so accurate. Road from Bangalore till the home-stay is good.

The place is so remote and beautiful away from city. Food was good. Well maintained property. Very friendly staff. Advice to those who are nature lovers. Preferable to go with family or in group. You will enjoy this place.

I would recommend this place if you are looking for a weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. The location is absolutely serene and very friendly host and staff. The location is very beautiful and peaceful and lush green environment.

It is a great place for a weekend getaway. Could not ask for a better place to chill for 2 days. Our room was so beautiful which had an amazing view, also the property was great. The cafe taker Ravi was a humble guy and I personally feel it was worth the money we paid for the stay and for food. I loved their doggies too. Any request they acknowledge it.

Stay is memorable, loved the food, view, service and of course the house.
Beautiful place to stay, in short the house is 200 years old amidst dense woods with beautiful landscape, I definitely want to visit again.

Bit old property but amazing host and relaxing vacation.

Since the location is little away from City and tourism places, travelers may have to spend extra time in traveling to from home stay. For those who just want relaxing, this place would be awesome. Care takers were nice to guests. Over all nice experience.

I loved the food. The breakfast had typical Chikmagalur ask Rotti and a change of breakfast every day along with ask Rotti. Like set dosa paddu etc. The dinner is so tasty. The host and cook were really sweet and spoke to us constantly to maintain the relationship. The room was clean. The ambiance of the whole property is very beautiful.

When we reached the place we were surprised to see this awesome place. The beautiful view and staying so close to nature give you pleasure. Added to that the staff are really cooperative. They listen to everything you ask to prepare and they make sure that you get feeling of homely environment.

We enjoyed a lot in this home stay. This means a real home stay. The location of the home stay is awesome. It is in midst of a coffee garden. This is 150 years old with all modern facilities. The food and hospitality of the owner and the staff thereof are memorable
