Guhantara An Under Ground Resort

The family of four, including two children, stayed for two days at a leisurely pace. We had the option to choose the lithic room with breakfast, lunch and dinner included. The room was spacious and had a beautiful view of the pool from the balcony. It was clean and gave off a cozy atmosphere reminiscent of a luxurious cave. It was equipped with a large sofa, refrigerator, television, wardrobe, and personal locker. The bathroom was well-maintained and sanitary. Every day we were provided with complimentary water bottles and could also order food through room service instead of going to the dining area. We were initially concerned about which dishes were included in the room service orders and if we would be charged extra during checkout. However, they were accommodating and made most options complimentary, something that is not always offered by other Guhantara An Under Ground Resorts. The staff at room service were polite and efficient, treating us like vip guests. Even the staff at the buffet/dining area were courteous enough to ask if we wanted any customized options for our food or drinks. They also had a variety of outdoor activities such as bike races, rope walking, ziplining, football etc, as well as indoor activities like bull riding, chess, carrom to enjoy throughout the day. Although we were told that we would have to pay for these activities, we ended up receiving all of them for free as complimentary gifts from the Guhantara An Under Ground Resort. They also organized a rain dance and campfire for their in-house guests in which our children had a great time. Additionally, we indulged in their spa service which included a full body deep tissue massage with steam and scrub using traditional ayurvedic hot oils. It was worth every penny as it was extremely professional and hygienic with expert masseurs who knew how to target our pain points effectively. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay and we would not hesitate to return again in the future.

My recent stay at guhantara cave resort with my family was nothing short of an extraordinary experience. This unique subterranean retreat, carved into the heart of nature, offers an unparalleled blend of adventure, serenity, and cultural richness. The rustic yet elegant ambiance transports you to an ancient era, while the resort’s modern amenities ensure every comfort is met. Our time there was marked by the joyful laughter of my child, who thoroughly enjoyed the variety of activities designed for all ages, from zip-lining to the indoor games area. The resort's sprawling grounds offer ample space for exploration and adventure, and it was delightful to see my kid immerse in the fun and excitement the resort has to offer. A standout for me personally was the ayurvedic massage i experienced. The tranquil, earthy setting of the spa combined with the skilled therapists made for a rejuvenating session that truly revived my senses. It felt like an oasis of calm amid-st the excitement of the resort’s offerings, and i emerged feeling both relaxed and revitalized. The hospitality was top-notch, with the staff attending to every need with genuine warmth and professionalism. The dining experience was equally commendable, offering a fusion of local and international flavors that catered to both adults and kids alike. Guhantara, with its perfect harmony of adventure and relaxation, left a lasting impression on all of us, and i look forward to revisiting this exceptional resort.

At a close distance from the city, if one would like to enjoy a staycation with family / friends then this is a well crafted place with a great ambience, clean rooms, decent number of activities, supportive staff and a scrumptious spread of south indian breakfast. The only suggestion would be to, maintain the pool area and activities area. Overall, the experience was a 4/5.

It indeed was a good staycation. But they can improve their housekeeping and cleanliness a little more. Food was quite good but the place where dinner was served was kind of messy and the guests had to hold their plates with one hand and eat with the other! it was inconvenient

Its more suitable for a day out. There are lot of activities that kids and adults can equally enjoy. Room maintenance can be improved. The food was delicious.

Stay, room service and food exceptional. We stayed there on christmas eve. Actually expected some festival related activities. But it's ok. Had a pleasant and safe stay actually.
