Guhantara An Under Ground Resort

We stayed at Guhantara resort for 1 night. We checked in during the afternoon and had lunch- a la carte lunch took a lot of time to serve. We, therefore, recommended the buffet lunch. The indoor outdoor games were awesome. Had great fun with my wife. Then I had spa treatment- again awesome because the person was great at his ayurvedic massage skills and it was a detailed 1-hour spa and hence was very relaxing. Then we ordered dinner to the room- dinner was pretty good. The bathroom had frogs in it so the staff had to come and clean the rooms. AC was not that great we stayed in a primitive room. Room quality was good with a cave-like feeling and it felt very eco-friendly. We had a cute balcony where we relaxed in the middle of plants. Next day morning we had a nice breakfast and played some more indoor games and checked out. The drive to and fro Guhantara resort is pretty smooth especially since it's nearby the city. So would recommend someone looking for a short trip away from city noise.

The rain dance dj song was superb. The welcome was good with a welcome drink. The moment we reached our luggage we were taken care of by property people and we were well guided towards our room. The room was awesome and clean. The ac was not chilling properly so i had to get an extra stand fan. Food was average room service was good too. The only thing noted was they could have kept the other section of property a bit clean, once the buffet was ready the food was unattended by the serving staff and the cat was roaming. The pool was not that clean

Everything was perfect about the stay, from welcome drinks to the rain dance to the pool area and the food (which was delicious btw) took along a toddler and a child and they had a lot of fun too. Just one suggestion - the rain dance was great but the speaker system was super loud, had our ears ringing for hours after. When this is the case, either provide ear protectors for kids, or don't let the kids in that area. Everything else was great.

It's on the outskirts near a village. Can be reached easily either by bannerughatta or kanakapura road. Parking available. Check in is done fast. We entered our room by passing through the cave tunnel. Rooms are theme based and large. Big balcony. Next enjoy some time in the swimming pool, next the rain dance and dj. Food is good. Games can be better.

It was such a unique experience staying in guhantara resort. My entire family loved the experience of staying in this underground resort. The staff was really helpful and welcoming. Special thanks to mr. Krishna for helping my wife with transportation to her room, since she had knee surgery recently and for keeping such good care of us all throughout.

Good place to check in on the weekend for a good refreshing evening followed by many activities. There are a few things that must be improved like food quality and housekeeping as the construction is getting old and required more maintenance food quality is definitely required immediate improvement and the spread of breakfast needs to be improved.

Staff are very helpful. We book 2 night stay but unfortunately my friend not well fast day so we decided checkout and going hospital. I say reception guy kindly acknowledge one night stay and added to my dinner bill. I know my booking was made by third party but it's possible to Guhantara An Under Ground Resorts side refund one stay back.

Guhantara is located in a place which is easily reachable via kanakapura road. The food is of very good quality. The hygiene and safety protocols are good but can definitely be improved when more people visit during weekends. I believe they are short staffed and cannot handle huge crowds over weekends.

The stay at guhantara is rejuvenating. It gives a feeling of staying in the middle of the forest. Beautifully constructed. Breakfast is super awesome. Loved the stay totally filled with activities.

Excellent place to unwind. Well mentioned private swimming pool / excellent trainers to support all outdoor activities.

I have gone for a 1 night stay. Overall experience was pretty nice, however only thing I felt was, there were not much things to be done post 6 pm except the rain dance and bar. It is boring for non-drinkers.

The location is a novel Idea. Given an underground theme the ambiance of the resort is great. Food is good but not much variety. The rooms are also in the same theme. The choice of games are average. Over all a satisfying stay.

Property was very nice and rooms were very good, decent food and good amenities. The staff were very courteous and supportive. The wash room faucet could have been better maintained

The cave theme was very appealing and unique. Lots of activities to indulge in. Had a lot of fun. Perfect for a short getaway from daily life.
