Gumaan Auberge

The Gumaan Auberge has an amazing ambience to it as soon as you walk in. A local feel, an enchanting small cafe with lots of plants and trees makes for a cool breeze. The check-in was smooth and they had lots of suggestions for the various activities we were interested in. The shopping streets recommend were definitely helpful. As we were running short to explore everything we could he was helpful with even drawing the different streets so that we are not confused. The hospitality was brilliant and so was the service. Our room was quaint little, adorned with local flavour and modern amenities overlooking the cafe. The cafe below (Gulaji ki chai) served amazing tea n snacks/small bites. I would recommend spending some time in the cafe below, it's worth the tea, food and time for the ambience, to relax. This place gives a different experience to normal Gumaan Auberges, infact you could call it a Gumaan Auberge with homestay benefits.

The place is a good, peaceful stay. It isn't that boho as it appears in the picture. Rooms are spacious enough as per the budget. You can get views of peacocks and parrots from your room. Gulaab ji chi within the boundary- snacks and tea available there. Staffs are cooperative but struggles a little to address guests if the rooms are occupied fully. Cons: 1. Room maintenance - ac was leaking water, commode button wasn't working, water pressure on all the taps was very low and one morning there was no water supply 2. No dustbins in the rooms or corridor 3. Ordered chi but they forgot to deliver 4. Mentioned laundry service is available, but they denied it hope they work on these because otherwise it's a good place to stay!

The location of this Gumaan Auberge is very good, close to most places. All the major forts are within 10 km radius of this Gumaan Auberge, including the market near hava mahal. Their cafe is a very nice place to sit and have tea, snacks etc, a very happening place. However, the Gumaan Auberge lacks some very basic facilities, ex: 1. No housekeeping, they dont clean the bathrooms, dustbins or even the floors. 2. No bathroom kits like toothbrush, etc, they did provide us liquid hand wash, and shampoo though. 3. Towels were only changed on request 4. Low maintenance, one of the washrooms was stinky. 5. Geyser was not working in one of the rooms.

I stayed there with my parents & grandparents. The location was safe, and convenient, and the staff was very cooperative & patient with us. The rooms were clean, the cafe was affordable, and their sandwiches were an absolute go-to snack for us. The best thing is that a lot of Gumaan Auberges overcharge you for room service but auberge had chai of mere 30 rupees and snacks below 200, so you can eat to your heart's content. And super deluxe rooms were very spacious. I was alone for a while, but the Gumaan Auberge felt so safe that we didn't even need to lock the doors.

Rooms are spacious, neat and clean. Not a star Gumaan Auberge, you might not get floor walkers, bathtub dryers, mini bars or refrigerators in all rooms but you will get wifi, family room feeling, spacious enough for kids to run around, food almost till late night, toiletries, work table, etc which is required for a good stay. Added advantages are its near to many of the visiting sites and is has a good connectivity. Main attraction is Gulab Ji Ka Chai attached to the Gumaan Auberge which is very tasty, crowded with boys and girls and awesome place to hang around.

Location is in the heart of City all Worth visiting places, markets are nearby excellent ambience, hospitality very well mannered and co-operative staff with personal attention by the owner of the Gumaan Auberge Mr. Anirudhsinh, the Gumaan Auberge staff helped us in deciding the itinerary of visiting places for each day, quality of the breakfast and other food items were excellent. Over all. It was an excellent and extra ordinary experience for us. So highly recommended Gumaan Auberge for Jaipur stay.

It was a very comfortable stay. The room were nice and cozy. Especially if you go with friends it gives you a bachelor pad vibes. The host of Gumaan Auberge were also very warm and understanding. There is no fuss even if you reach the Gumaan Auberge late and they also guide you with all the queries you have related to your trip. In all our stay was very cozy. Most importantly the washrooms were clean and hygienic.

Gumaan auberge located at the heart of jaipur has great proximity to everything like hawa mahal, pink city. Railway station is at walking distance. The best thing is the gulaabji chai cafe that comes with the stay, it offers delightful snacks with very delightful vibe. Sitting there in the evenings with beautiful wind and kadak chai and friends’ company will make your day

Location is good and within reach, one can easily find this Gumaan Auberge and can easily reach, rooms are very nice and are well maintained. Staff is also very friendly overall experience was good at this Gumaan Auberge.

The location of Gumaan Auberge is best. I had a comfortable stay however the food could be more better. The room was little small but cleanliness was quite good.

Best, value for money stay. Located in the centre city, everything you need was near by. Staff was very helpful. Go for it.

We were upgraded to a super deluxe room which was very spacious and tidy. The rooms looked freshly painted. The breakfast spread although limited was tasty. There are any amenities as such but there's a small common area where you can spend some time if you are visiting with your friends/family.

Rooms, bed, bathroom were clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Quick response to every request made. Nice location. Happening place to sit and chill out. Had a great experience.
