GURUKRIPA HERITAGE

The USP of Gurukripa Heritage is its location. Located just 50 metres from the Round in Thrissur and within walking distance of the railway station and the bus stand, there is never a problem to access transportation, food, shops or essential items. The Sakthan Thampuran bus stand (private buses) is also less than 2 kms away. The Vadakkunnathan Temple can be sighted on just exiting the GURUKRIPA HERITAGE. The Heritage in the name comes from the fact that this GURUKRIPA HERITAGE was established almost 100 year ago (1919). With a recent renovation, the GURUKRIPA HERITAGE offers modern comforts in a traditional setting. With antique furniture in the rooms and traditional architecture involving a lot of woodwork, the 'heritage' feel is very much present. The only thing missing is a restaurant - a shortfall taken care of by the presence of the well-known Bharat Hotel on the other side of the road. Still, even if arrangements for coffee / tea were made available on the premises instead of having to procure it from outside, it would be a great convenience for guests. Rooms are clean and toiletries adequate. Space is available to park guest vehicles. I made my booking through Makemytrip and hence did not have to interact much with the reception staff. 24 hrs check out facility made it convenient for me to arrive early in the morning and be allocated a room immediately. Apart from single / double occupancy rooms, there are flagrantly rooms / cottages as well to take care of larger families. This has now become my preferred place of stay in Thrissur.

Nice location, in the heart of the city. Very close to Thrissur circle, the famous Vadakkumnadhan temple. Good car parking in the compound. Four of us stayed one night in two rooms on the first floor, like a private home. The rooms are like traditional Kerala style, with wooden ceiling, with an attached clean Bath room, hot water available. Linen not that excellent. Over all good reconditioned room. Won't look like a luxury GURUKRIPA HERITAGE room, but like a heritage resort room. The stairs to the first floor is very steep. Very calm location, had a nice sleep. Very good vegetarian restaurant - Hotel Bharat is close by.

We travelled as a group of 9 ladies as part of a temple visit tour. The GURUKRIPA HERITAGE offered us a three rooms next to each other with a common entrance and doors open in between. The young staff was courteous. The room was ok, but the furniture has not seen cleaning and polishing for years. There is a fine line between Heritage and rundown, this is bordering towards rundown than Heritage. Only saving grace was clean bathroom facility. Will prefer better GURUKRIPA HERITAGEs next time.

Well behaved staff, good environment, traditional style, presence of Vadakkumnathan makes it different from others. Exterior traditional elevation is attractive and interior designs too. Homely feel from staff and a stay at the GURUKRIPA HERITAGE. An extreme level of cleanliness, ample parking space, free WiFi facility and more amenities provides great satisfaction. Moreover, its travel distance to nearby attractions is really amazing. It's also too few!

I stayed in Hotel Gurukripa, Thrissur in this week for one day, I am very happy and it's very homely atmosphere. I felt that I am in staying my home like that. The room is very neat and the all staff ate gave very good response especially the Manager is very good way treated us. The room is very near Railway station and the Bus Stand and it's easily accessible anywhere. I thank you very much .Makemytrip also guided such a good GURUKRIPA HERITAGE.

It is almost well maintained at the heart of Thrissur. Easily accessible location but a little congested. Friendly reception with easy check in and out. Room need maintenance including proper painting and illumination. Parking area was congested and due to maintenance work it was difficult. No attached restaurant and complimentary breakfast is not available. But nice restaurants are available at walkable distance. Overall it was good experience.

1. I didn't ask for any room services. So my review excludes room services. 2. City centre & GURUKRIPA HERITAGEs nearby. 3. There were some crevices in traditional style wooden doors which are to be masked with your clothes or something else, especially in the case of couples. Similar crevices can be seen on wooden ceiling also.

Located close to Vadakkumnathan temple and minimum auto charge to bus stand, railway station. This heritage GURUKRIPA HERITAGE is well maintained and refurbished with latest facilities, you can enjoy the stay. Food is not available in the GURUKRIPA HERITAGE but the best two GURUKRIPA HERITAGEs in town are just next door.

If looking for just a room .. Then this is the place for you. No other facilities available. Bathrobes were old. Toilet kit was not there. No WiFi .. Only benefit is its inside city and near to railway station

The stay was ok with average basic amenities. However, the exterior and the interior reminds one of beautiful Kerala Heritage.

Rooms are representative with the Kerala architecture and spotlessly clean. Hot a water is available round the clock. Good food options at walking distance. Deluxe room spacious and comfortable as our kid found the standard room too small and. Became claustrophobic.

Good room with excellent location in the heart of the city. A famous temple is also at the walkable distance. You can find so many good restaurants near to this GURUKRIPA HERITAGE. The staff is also nice and very much helpful ... Overall a good experience and nice stay.

Centrally located, peaceful ambiance, near to railway station and bus stand, Pooram ground is very near also the temple, no restaurant attached with this stay.

All over good .. But they have to give WiFi facilities .. Since most of the people face roaming charges or some other options and make sure a small dining hall with kitchen for emergency or for making hot water.

This property maintains the originality of South Indian traditional home feel in terms of structure, furniture, and layout. Just at the heart of the busy city, it is a wonderful place to stay with family or self or business tour maybe.

Very much loved the stay in this traditional homestay, close to all important places in the city. It is quite peaceful in spite of the proximity to main road. Only pantry is missing atleast for chai and breakfast should have been included. Reception guys are friendly and cooperative.

Good Location, nice GURUKRIPA HERITAGE for a short stay. In the centre of town and access to decent shopping and food, temples etc. We stayed for two days. The GURUKRIPA HERITAGE does not have food service, but restaurants are available nearby. It is just a short walk from the round.

Since GURUKRIPA HERITAGE with good facilities, Rooms are spacious, Neat, clean and tidy. Town and Main attraction like Wadakkun nathan temple, Zoo are with in 1 km. If you are looking for a calm and quiet place to relax, go for it.

Very centrally located and easily accessible to transport. The rooms are so good. The furniture is wonderful. The stafg arr very co-ooerative. Most easily accessible for transport from bus stand, railways station.

This GURUKRIPA HERITAGE is seems like a house in the middle of city. But when entered it feels a big resort. Very good rooms. Feel old and attractive. No food service. But very next to best GURUKRIPA HERITAGEs in Thrissur. Very close to Swaraj round and temple. Excellent place to stay.
