Guruvayur Heritage

The main building housing the front office, a couple of rooms and the kitchen-cum-dining section is a 50+-year-old structure we were told! The old' world charm with pillars, beams and fully furnished rooms retains the feel of the years gone by albeit lovingly restored. Breakfast on offer is delicious albeit the choices are limited! Guests need to pre-book/order dinner ahead of leaving room for the day or at least 1-2 hours before supper time. All rooms and cottages are on the ground level. Limited car parking(with 24x7 security) is available on the premises. Guruvayoor Krishna temple is but a mere 200 meters ahead of the Guruvayur Heritage & is a walkable approach. Rooms have attached baths with 24x7 hot water, adequate lighting, controllable air-con, TV and spring-mattresses as beds! Great place to book/stay on visit/travels to Guruvayoor temple! Note: Hotel is located behind the KSRTC bus stand & about 15 Kms from the Thrissur railway station.

We a family of four stayed a night at this newly launched property. The property is very near to the Guruvayur police Station and the temple is at a short walk distance away through South Nada. We we're allotted two well-furnished cottages with all amenities including ac, coffee maker, soft drinks and snacks at an extra cost, bathroom items and a dental kit. They have a private kitchen/dining room, where they serve homely food with reasonable price. The staff members, each one of them is very courteous with a smiling face. The overall experience was excellent and great and I would rate them 4. 8 on a scale of five. The icing on the cake is the resort ambiance of this Heritage property in a crowded Town. The only hitch was a noisy exhaust fan, which you cannot switch off and the just adequate room size. The parking lot can accommodate 6 to 8 cars. We are quite satisfied and I recommend this Silent beauty to travelers who value class and comfort.

I stayed for two days at guruvayoor heritage cottages recently, the room was fairly spacious for the price and toilets very neat, the staff very friendly the site, very near from the 'south nada' of the temple and the surroundings of the Guruvayur Heritage very silent, though the temple is very near. I only ordered dinner for 2 nights and it was very homily and tasty. Very nice place to stay for few days they may little care to provide appropriate window curtains on the windows, even after putting off all lights in the room bright light from outside was sweeping in to the room. I would like come and stay there when i visit the temple next time thanks rajan n m fort koch

We stayed at Guruvayoor Heritage just for a day. A new property with less than 12 rooms/cottages. We stayed in a cottage which was very good. Room and bathroom was spotlessly clean. Bathroom was a bit small though. Ever smiling staff ready to extend any help you ask for. Siddharth. The operations manager was himself taking care of the need of all the guests. Very close to the temple. Less than 5 minutes walk. Breakfast OK, not buffet. Just 2 items, watermelon, tea/coffee. Their vegetarian lunch was also good at a very nominal charge. All in all we enjoyed our stay. Purushothaman Nambron.

Breakfast was good. Suite was too small for 3 persons. Snacks bar had all snacks which were about to expire. Room service needs to be improved and adequate staff needs to be appointed, as all the work cannot be handled by single staff. Early morning coffee needs to be available by 6:30 AM minimum, break fast to be buffet and not to be restricted to person. Breakfast variety needs to be added. Overall lot of improvement is required. As the room charges are as per a good standard Guruvayur Heritage and the service needs to be kept as per the charges charged.

Excellent house keeping. Every thing absolutely clean and maintained well. Room interiors done with a great taste. Hotel staff is courteous, pleasant and caring. I was called up for arrival confirmation and asked if we need some specific services. Superb service. Food is delicious. We felt at home Hotel manager Mr Siddharth and his team is doing a good job. The best thing about the Guruvayur Heritage is the friendly staff. I requested for early check in and they made it available as soon as the rooms were available. The rooms were very neat and comfy. Also the location is very close to Guruvayoor temple. A word of appreciation to the manager and the watchman. The watchman was very helpful with the local information and means for getting around. Overall very good experience. The only con was the breakfast served in terms of taste. A good place to stay if you wanna visit Guruvayoor.

Guruvayur Heritage is a recently commissioned Guruvayur Heritage very close to the temple. Cleanliness, room size, staff behavior etc is excellent. The only concern was food since they don't have a full fledged restaurant and only cater to room guests but there are many good restaurants nearby so it's no deal breaker. The Guruvayur Heritage is a very old home converted hence has that Heritage feel to it but we opted to stay in one of newly created cottages which is very spacious. Really pleasant atmosphere and stay. Loved it.

Clean rooms, food prepared on demand.

Decent stay for short duration. Tea and food were very tasty and good. Rooms were neat and clean and host were available for any support needed.
