Firstly, the location of the stay was the BEST. It's a 180 degree valley view with mountains. In the night also, the valley twinkles with the city lights. Mr. Nathan was the most kind and helpful host. He served us tasty idlis, chutney and egg bhurji. We couldn't try the dinner which he would have made, as it was a bit on the costlier side. But, on the final day of our stay I could smell the flavour of the spices he put from my room itself. Room was also top notch, cozy and all amenities working. The only issue was the location of the stay, and that is absolutely understandable because of the view we get. The location does not have any nearby restaurants, so if you don't have a personal vehicle you can't go out for dinner.

Place was very peaceful with great view. It would be better if there was bonfire at night, but rest everything was good. Best part was the scenic views from there, it was just amazing.

Not worth the money

Beautiful views, but the stay is not worth the high price. The room was basic with outdated lighting and no modern furnishings. No false ceiling, just a tube light and chandelier—not cozy at all. No hair dryer provided, and the geyser runs out of hot water in minutes. Room service was disappointing—no bedsheet change or trash removal in two days. The hotel is far from the market, located at the edge of town. No barbecue allowed, and there are no real activities to enjoy. Stray dogs roam the area—friendly, but still a risk, especially with kids. We constantly had to watch our child, which made it stressful. Overall, the scenery is great, but everything else falls short—poor value for money.

One of the worst stay I have ever had in my life. The caretaker attitude is very bad, We booked three rooms and were going in two cars. After we got there, they didn't give us a place to park our car, so we were told to take one car and leave it on the road. My Valuable Advice pls don’t book this home stay

Terrible stay in Kodaikanal! The parking situation is misleading—the photos suggest availability, but there is no on-site parking for guests. You’ll have to leave your car outside the property, and if anything happens, the management takes no responsibility. My car was damaged, yet the homestay owner refused to acknowledge or address the issue. Additionally, there are no food options provided. This place is definitely not family-friendly—the only redeeming factor is the outside view. Overall, a horrible experience!
