Heaven's Gate Hotel truly lives up to its name! I recently stayed here. The staff were super friendly and made sure I had everything I needed.

Don't get appealed by the appearance of photos and moreover I booked for a stay with open balcony but allotted closed one and that too near reception with no privacy . And they said bonfire is for only those who book it and we are not allowed to sit there. Then what's the stupid thing to mention it as common amenities . It was like staying in a hell that too a closed room for one day. I need refund for Ur poor operations

It was a very bad experience with this Holiday homes, room is not proper cleaned, bedsheet is looks like used one we found so many small hair in that. Breakfast is too unhygienic we found some hair in idly and I saw some small insects in the bread. So I will suggest don't go with

It's ok property. Rooms are ok. Fan is not having Regulator. Breakfast is poor with not much options. Not worth spending 5K per night.

While we do provide 3 Indian dishes apart from bread, butter and Jam, we're currently reviewing our menu to offer more variety to our guests.

There are very few places that come across as a 10/10 stay. This property by all means is that. To start with the property is right in the heart of the city, and for the view alone this property is so worth it. You can legit see the whole of Coonoor from the room Balcony. The manager and the staff are very cooperative and helpful they did allow us an early check-in and they also shifted us to the upper room as we were 3 of us in a room. The breakfast was very good. The rooms are spacious and well maintained

Our stay at this property was a mixed bag. Since it was the long weekend, most rooms in coonoor were sold out and we were glad to have this room available for one night when we booked last minute. But unfortunately upon reaching the hotel we found that the room's exhaust system had caught fire the previous night and we had to wait quite long to check-in. While the staff was very friendly, our room was not fully ready despite the late checkin - obviously because of the fire the previous night. Another issue with the property is that while it's a little far from the centre of town, they did not have a functioning restaurant which was a big of an issue if you did not have your own transport. Otherwise the neighbourhood was quite and lovely. Overall stay experience was average.

I am completely disatisfied with the Make my trip. Had a very bad experience. 1. Property charges us extra as the room they are providing is not having proper ventillation and it was smelling. requested for change in room they said its not available even though it was and they said you need to pay 1500/- extra for the room change. Even though booking price was same for online booking for all kind of rooms. 2. Service was very very poor , no welcome drink or nothing, staff was not understanding what we are trying to say. 3. Need to wait a long for breakfast after sitting on the table, this ruined our trip. 4. It was our last day of trip at conoor and they completely ruined it

I sincerely apologize for each of the issues you encountered: * You were charged for change of category - Deluxe room without balcony to Deluxe room with open balcony - they are totally different category of rooms and are priced differently. * Subpar service and lack of basic hospitality like a welcome drink - unfortunately we are not a 4 Star or 5 Star property so we do not provide a welcome drink. * Our staff do speak English, so if any other language was used with them, they cannot be blamed for not understanding what you say. * Long delays for breakfast - We are a homestay and have a small kitchen, not a commercial one. I am sure you would understand how it would be if you have 35 guests at home for breakfast and all of them turn up to eat at the same time. Please accept our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.
