Heaven's Gate Villa, Coonoor

Best part of heaven’s gate home stay is the room quality. All the basic amenities were covered in the room. The view from the room was outstanding. The behaviour of the caretaker was very good. Even all the staffs has helped organised a bonfire in short notice. The bed sheet, towels and pillow covers were in extremely good condition. The homestay has paid a special attention to take care of the decoration of their property. Only a few concern, we couldn’t able to locate the property following google map in first place. The route has shown in the map has leaded us to a narrow lane and it took 30mins to reach to the property after taking help from the homestay staffs. The breakfast provided to us was limited in options but was quite tasty.

The property is very beautiful right from its lobby to the rooms. But i do have a few complaints/suggestions for the owners. The reception area & the stairs should have more lights it looked very dark when we entered. In one of our rooms the tv was not working, on asking the host he said its too late to get it recharged now. About the food, the breakfast buffet had very few options, it should have been more extensive. Also if the property can manage to run a kitchen for its guests it would be great bcoz at night there are no restaurants at walkable distance & its pretty dark outside too as there are hardly any street lights in coonor.

As we planning a short trip to coonoor looking for Heaven's Gate Villa, Coonoors and homestays, i stumbled upon this heaven’s gate and loved it from the pics and prices. And we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived there. The location of the stay is spot on, surrounded by lush green views on kne side and coonoor city on the other, this place is perfect for coonoor. The manager seam is a very behaved and friendly person and helps in every way possible. The complimentary breakfast was simple and homely. The rooms are huge and the balcony gives amazing view. Highly recommend.

Heaven gate holiday surely do justice to their tagline - luxury holiday home. Very beautiful and luxurious property that offers awesome view to the valley. Spacious rooms and clean bathrooms and staffs were polite and helpful. Hari nair and other staffs took utmost care of us from checkin till checkout. Breakfast was good but options were minimal. Swiggy and zomoto available for food delivery as stay won't provide lunch/dinner. An open roof top garden even adds charm to the property. Upto 5-6 cars could be parked inside the property and they do have 24/7 surveillance.

3. Heavens gate villa conoor is a good property. Beautiful location. We booked two rooms for 2nights. Hot water in one of the rooms was an issue along with dripping taps and cobwebs all over the room. Needs maintenance. The staff seemed cooperative and welcoming. Except for the small issues the stay was good. Hope the owners look into the issues since the amount charged is almost as high as a full fledged Heaven's Gate Villa, Coonoor and guest expect and should receive value for money.

Didn’t have much difficulty in finding the property, location is good. Breakfast spread was limited but whatever served was neat and tasty. Best feature about the property is the staffs, helpful and thoughtful. I had an issue with the room, booked for a room with balcony, called up the property and spoke in person as well regarding the room in advance but once i reached, those rooms were already occupied. Second day i was given the room with balcony when the guests checked out.

Heaven's gate villa is a lovely place to stay. We stayed there for 2 days in april. We got three rooms on the first floor. They have 9 rooms in all. The only drawback is that they don't provide lunch or dinner. But there are plenty of restaurants nearby from where you can order. They charge rs. 100 as convenience fees for providing crockery for the ordered food. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are very neat and clean. Overall, we had a very good experience!

The property was very close to the central coonoor. It was very neat and clean. The rooms were luxurious and had ample space with balcony which had a great attraction of beautiful valleys surroundings. It was a great experience to view beautiful sunrise. Bathroom was wide and toiletries were provided with hot water facilities. The parking facility was available. Complementary breakfast was available. I recommend the property to all.

The stay was beautiful. The staff was very nice. Rooms are well maintained and very clean. The main attraction was the terrace, they have maintained a beautiful terrace with natural grass bonfire and trees

It feels like a 5 star Heaven's Gate Villa, Coonoor, cleaning and room was so amazing. And at roof top they have a lawn and bonfire setup this is so amazing in night. Love to stay here - worth to stay. And also villa staffs are so good in behaviour and services.

Each room in the property has amazing view. Property has closed parking for safety of your car. Property has beautiful sculptures and paintings and a huge dining area. Staff prepares delicious and economic food ( advance notice needed) terrace garden on top is beautiful with amazing landscaping. Property does not provide hot water kettle but can provide hot water in thermos on request. Caretaker melvin and staff are great bunch

Me and my family had recently stayed at this wonderful holiday homes. I had fantastic experience staying here. The rooms are very clean and staffs are very friendly. Really loved the terrace set up with plants. The view of tea plantations was good from balcony. Overall well maintained and good stay for family group. Would recommend the stay to others who would like to enjoy the beauty of ****oor with clean and lovely stay.

We had a great time here. It's a very nice and peaceful place to stay. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff was very supportive and friendly. They provide lunch/ dinner at a reasonable price but for that u have to order 3 hours before. We stayed for 2 nights and they cleaned the room next day too.

From the arrival to getting us settled in rooms to helping us see the places around to getting late night milk for my youngest. It's been absolutely amazing! very very nicely done up rooms clean and hygienic. We will definitely come back

We had a great time at heavens gate villa. The rooms are clean and spacious. The entire villa is well maintained. Vinu helped us with anything we needed. He even went out of the way to buy a few things that we needed from the market. Bonfire on the beautiful terrace garden was worth experiencing. Great stay. Would love to visit again.
