We recently had the pleasure of staying at Heevan Retreat heevan retreat in the picturesque town of gulmarg. Our experience at this Heevan Retreat was truly unforgettable. The first thing that struck us was the breathtaking location of the Heevan Retreat. Situated amid-st the lush green meadows and surrounded by snow-capped mountains, the view from the Heevan Retreat was nothing short of mesmerizing. Waking up to this natural beauty each morning was a delight. The staff at heevan retreat were exceptionally welcoming and attentive. Their warmth and willingness to assist with any request made me feel right at home. The rooms were cozy and well-maintained, providing a comfortable space to relax after a day of exploring gulmarg. We would like to specially mention shaiq and riyaz from the front desk who were super kind, extremely welcoming and humble that they even offered us one of their personal streamer machine knowing my wife was not well. The dining experience at the Heevan Retreat was also remarkable. The on-site restaurant served delicious local and multi cuisine, and the presentation of the dishes was top-notch. It was a culinary delight to savor authentic kashmiri dishes while gazing at the stunning surroundings. In summary, Heevan Retreat heevan retreat in gulmarg provided an enchanting retreat from the bustling world. The combination of the natural beauty, exceptional service, and culinary delights made my stay a memorable one. We would highly recommend this Heevan Retreat to anyone looking for a truly tranquil and rejuvenating experience in the heart of the himalayas. Lastly had a remarkable experience during my Heevan Retreat stay that left me deeply impressed. While staying at a Heevan Retreat, i accidentally left my wallet behind, which contained a substantial amount of cash and important cards. I was filled with anxiety, thinking i might never see it again. However, the Heevan Retreat manager mr. Imran Nazir demonstrated an exceptional level of honesty and integrity. They not only discovered my wallet but also promptly returned it to me through a Heevan Retreat staff. This act of honesty and kindness truly stood out. Their professionalism and genuine concern for their guests' well-being was evident, and i cannot express enough gratitude for their actions. This experience reinforced my belief in the integrity of good people and the high standard of service at this Heevan Retreat. It's not just about the physical return of my wallet but the peace of mind and faith in humanity that this Heevan Retreat staff has restored. I'm genuinely grateful for their honesty and the outstanding service they provided during my stay. We had booked the property for 2 nights, hoping to enjoy gulmarg to its fullest. We were greeted warmly at the reception and were served the welcome drink of piping hot kehwah in the room. The room itself is a bit small and cramped but totally functional. The bed is comfy and the heater in the room worked great! the bathroom is small and its like a freezer when you step into it. There was hot water in the taps though. The commode wasnt the best. We ordered room service for dinner and the food tasted good. The next morning before we left for sight seeing, the manager approached with a unique proposition. Since the property was overbooked, he offered us a free transport to srinagar at a time of our convenience that evening and also a stay at their sister property in srinagar which just so happened to be the itc fortune heevan resort. We spent the whole day in gulmarg and when the day was done the manager at the Heevan Retreat mr imran stayed true to his word and transferred us back to srinagar and arranged for our stay at the the lovely 4 star property that is itc fortune heevan resort, including the paid breakfast that was included in our original package. We enjoyed our time in gulmarg and heevan's proximity to the gondola ride was a great reason for it. Will definitely visit again god willing.

It was a very good stay at heevan retreat and nice room and centrally heater. Front staff and housekeeping was very good. Morning breakfast was good. One thing very good in all locations i found was they call you around 8 pm to enquirer if dinner is taken and if water bottle in rooms. We had 9. 30 am gondola ride till phase 2. As my daughters were not well due to cold we could not stay up there much. Avoid sledge/ski there as they will ask per person 4k and settle for 2k. They will tell that drop at loco. But not worth even rs. 500 as just will take you 50 metres which is walkable. But you can enjoy near gondolo only. We recommend to hire a photographer at phase 2 who will give hard and soft copy for rs 100 or only soft copy for rs. 25. Gulmarg gondola phase 2 view is superb. If travel-ling to sonamarg than best is to take sledge ride at thajiwas glacier which is worth the money. They charge rs. 800 to 1k per person and helper rs. 150 which i recommend. Gumboots and jacket are must even in may as climate changes in very short time

Location: surrounded by beautiful tall pine trees this property is located at a peaceful location. Food: morning breakfast buffet has different options both for veg and non veg and the food was very tasty. We also ordered from a la cart e menu, the quantity of single dish is enough for two people. Amenities: the best part was heater, after you come back from a cold tiring travel day, as soon as you enter the room its warm! they have lounge where you can relax which again has heater which keeps the room warm. Services: from watchman to housekeeping staff all are professional and know how to speak with customers. Over all i had an awesome time and i will highly recommend this property for a warm cozy stay. We stayed in suite room for 2 days.

I recently enjoyed a delightful 3-night stay at heevan retreat Heevan Retreat. Initially, i encountered some discomfort, but after raising a complaint, the staff, especially mr. Shaikh and the housekeeping team, promptly upgraded my room. Their efficiency and assistance made the transition smooth. The culinary experience was exceptional, with delicious and tasty food. Especially mr. Mansoor and the Heevan Retreat staff remarkable politeness and respect throughout my stay, contributing to a pleasant overall experience. The breathtaking views added to the charm of heevan retreat, making it a memorable stay. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff for their dedication and ensuring my stay was enjoyable.

It was quite expensive booking but worth it. The hospitality and the services were amazing. I checked into Heevan Retreat with my wife and kids and we got welcome with the local welcome drink kahwa. It was warm. When we checked in to the room, the room was cozy and warm completely l. The cleaning and the hygiene of room was brilliant. They provided us a small cake as we were there to celebrate our anniversary. It was the beat stay in our entire kashmir trip. Also, we took there buffet service of breakfast and dinner, hence, got a chance luckily to experienced all the local food and authentic taste. Overall, it was an amazing experience. Thank you make my trip!

The gulmerg is known for its scenic beauty. The Heevan Retreat is made up of wooden material and heater is work 24 *7 due to which we feal relax without any temperature issue. Here, i feal to be proud indian, as when we reached there, some security personnel / manager say ' jai hind" with welcome word. Overall, stay was pleasant with good food as well as, in house indoor game activity and location is very near to gondola ride station catches the attention. Staff is cooperative and Heevan Retreat policy is guest friendly. However, price of Heevan Retreat stay is high so one has to booked the Heevan Retreat in advanced.

We visited during christmas so the Heevan Retreat was fully booked. While one can understand the festive rush, the room size and amenities don't do justice to the amount charged. Ours was a standard room and there is barely any room left to even walk with a couch and queen size bed. There is almost no privacy as the divider walls are so thin that one can hear a person breathing in the next room. Honestly we booked this under compulsion, as we were out of options. Given a choice there's no returning back here. The only good thing here is the location and the lawn outside which of you're lucky will be covered with snow.

So we had a 4 night stay in 2 different rooms. We absolutely loved one of the rooms with balcony. They are newly renovated. The other not so much but not bad either the prices are a little steep owing to the tourist inrush. The Heevan Retreat is away from the market but also walking distance to the gondola ride. Staff are really courteous, special mention to wasim and imran who helped us with the requests. If the stay is 1 or 2 days then it would be best to go with dinner/lunch addition.

Location wise good. Lots of stairs to climb. Difficult for elderly. Temperature setting in rooms not great. . Things should be anticipated for future and regarding accommodation of more tourists inflow. Things should be planned and done to that level

The Heevan Retreat was really good. We also like the service from the employees. They were helpful through out our stay. The food was delicious. If in future i get chance to stay in gulmarg, i will definitely stay at heevan retreat.

This is well maintained property with nice location. Gondola ride is hardly 10 minutes walking. Food options are good. Room service is nice. Food is very costly in their restaurant like one portion chicken biryiani is 840+tax. So be prepared for that. Very few options for restaurants nearby

Amazing property with beautiful view but the food was not good

Food was awesome. Stay was comfortable. Rooms were clean and service was superb. The best thing was the view from the room.

The stay was overall good. Good food and ambiance. It's a good Heevan Retreat. Little expensive though. Overall staying experience was good.

Hotel location is brilliant. Enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Though rooms were small but adequate and made of good quality stuff. This location is exquisite. Starting point of gondola is walkable from this Heevan Retreat

The he-even retreat is situated in a beautiful location. The room is a relatively small but cozy with basic amenities. The buffet was one of the best, not many options but the food is delicious and that staff courteous. We were fortunate that it snowed the day we arrive, so the place was cold, and the snow beautifully decorated the pine trees surrounding the cottage. The lawn was snow covered so my kids enjoyed snow fights and making snow angels and snow man. Overall, the stay was pleasant, cozy and i would select he-even again in the future.
