Disappointing Stay - Poor Maintenance and No Climate Control

Rating: ⭐⭐ (2/5) I recently stayed at Sun Park Hotel and unfortunately cannot recommend it despite a couple of positive aspects. Here’s my honest experience: The Good The breakfast was genuinely excellent with a wide variety of options to choose from. The check-in process was also impressively efficient – I completed all formalities in under 5 minutes, which was appreciated after a long journey. The Unacceptable However, these positives were completely overshadowed by serious issues that made my stay uncomfortable and frustrating: Terrible Maintenance: The bathroom basin was leaking from the moment I entered the room, with dirty water spreading all over the bathroom floor. I reported this immediately, but despite the maintenance staff working on it for over two hours, they left without fixing the problem. I had to deal with a wet, unsanitary bathroom throughout my entire stay. No Climate Control: This was perhaps the most frustrating issue. The air conditioning is controlled remotely from the reception desk – guests have absolutely no ability to adjust the temperature or fan speed in their own rooms. To make matters worse, I discovered that the AC was switched off completely at midnight without any warning. I woke up sweaty and extremely uncomfortable, unable to do anything about it. Final Verdict A hotel stay should provide basic comfort and functioning amenities. Sun Park Hotel failed on both counts. While the breakfast and quick check-in were nice touches, they cannot compensate for broken plumbing that goes unrepaired and a complete lack of climate control in guest rooms. Until management addresses these fundamental hospitality issues, I would advise travelers to look elsewhere for accommodation.

positive Things They welcomed us and upgraded our room but without facilities upgrade (Examples Ac usage). They give us 2 rooms room no 311 ,312 as i booked 2 rooms Food is good. we had our dinner at hotel only for 1 day and food is tasty. specially Makai mushroom masala. Negative Things. room no 312 which have they upgraded totally smelly room. and 311 washroom lock is not working. Then i am coming to very bad experience which is happend for the first time with us. The Towel which they give us to used. when we came back hotel in the evening the manager told us sir there is a towel which is misused . they told us you used mehndi in room 😂 😂 and towel have marks on it. i refused it. they charge us 500 rupees for thier old towel and packed it for us. I suggest you sun park donot ask more money . This is very genuine review guys so visit accordingly and don,t forgot to make video of towels 😂which they have provided.

I had booked the hotel seeing the good reviews thinking it will be a nice hotel but i was so wrong ... we had booked a family room and it was not good at all ... I had paid 16k for 2nights and the room could not justify the price ... Ac was not working in our room so we asked them to turn it on and then we got to know that its chargeable which was no where mentioned while booking ... it was only mentioned heater is chargeable no mention of Ac ... when we raised this they defended saying it is the same ... after a lot of discussion and showing the booking details n description they decided to start the ac ... coming to the room since it was a family room there were 2 rooms in one space ... 1 room had ac ceiling fan everything but the other room only had a rotating fan not even a ceiling fan ... the location of the hotel was also not very good ... u have to take a very narrow road up to reach the hotel ... if the driver misjudges the width of that road a little also the car will be scratched ... Neither the location nor the room could justify the price i had paid ... most of the staffs where good and polite but there was 1particular guy sitting in the reception for most probably doing night shift was very rude and demeaning ... overall did not like the stay at all and will not recommend it

Hotel is in a good location but they cook Veg and non Veg together in the same kitchen. I suggest they should have separate kitchens for both Veg and Non Veg food
