Hill Crest Resort - Coorg

Pros: Location- 10/10 ; Ease of Access- 10/10; Cleanliness-10/10 ; Hospitality-10/10; Swimming Pool- 10/10 ; Staff behaviour- 10/10 ; Food - 10/10 ; Special requests - 10/10 ; Distance from city - Fastest! CONS- “You’ll not want to leave the place 🙁”. I booked this resort after a very very detailed homework and I was not dissappointed! If only I could give them 6 stars out of 5. At the onset the location of the property is handpicked, absolutely aesthetically placed, by the hillside and next to a stream. It is located on the main road so you don’t have to worry about driving through treacherous terrain. I went there for my birthday with my family and it was the best decision ever! The manager and staff were so courteaous and they offered a welcome drink. We were then escorted to our rooms, and let me tell you, this a property where all rooms have a view. The next day, I was upgraded to a suite by the manager, just because it was my birthday. It was so over whelming. The swimming pool of the property, is like the ones you’ll get to see in Bali or Thailand. There in house spa is also very good. The overall cleanliness, hospitality, warmth .. I could go on and on was so on point. My husband and parents had requested for a birthday cake and decoration for my room and they surprised me with both. The food is selected on daily basis and very very tasty. I will definately refer it to friends, family , couples anyone and everyone !!! It is an All rounder property which caters for all. I just came back from coorg a day back, and we were staying at hill crest resort and might i say that the experience i have had there will last with me a lifetime in ways that are both beautiful and exceptional. The property is located at a very peaceful spot away from the hustle of city life, easy to locate on maps though. We booked the luxury cottage and might i say that it looked nothing less than a scene out of a movie with the kind of beauty the place had. The cottage had all the amenities, basic and luxury both. The staff was prompt with every need, and had a welcoming vibe which made us feel so comfortable. The food at the malnad restaurant starting from buffet to room service was freshly made and suited our taste buds. Our manager treated us with utmost grace and on the occasion of our anniversary ensured an evening that is memorable and beautiful. The candle light dinner surprise arranged by staff was the highlight of our trip, beauty at its best. Abhishek from the serving team was very positive, polite and helpful. All in all the trip was great, the place was great, the food was great and the people attending us were exceptionally great. A place worth your while in a huge way, i recommend it 100.

It was an amazing experience. Beautiful location and the best in class service. Starting from the reception - the receptionist named yashika, what a humble and cheerful person, she received us with a welcome drink. She gave us the room with the best view. The property manager - sushant was always around for any help and support required. I went there to celebrate my 2nd anniversary. I shared the same to the manager and receptionist. They made sure the room was beautifully decorated, they arranged pool side dinner date with my wife. My wife is super happy with the arrangement. She thought it was me, but the credit goes to the property manager, the receptionist and the cafe in the resort. Super tasty food. People were humble and very cooperative. They took care of our minute needs. Overall, it was a wonderful experience for me and my family and we were overwhelmed with the service. Price was reasonable.

My experience was good at the resort. I had booked balcony room with view, on arrival they upgraded it to cottage, which was pleasantly surprising. All the staffs are courteous and helpful especially staffs in the restaurant. Rooms were clean and are well maintained also room service is okay and comes on time. I took a cab to visit all the places in coorg and that was a good experience. Cab driver punith kumar was really helpful and took us to all the important places to visit in coorg. He has the local knowledge of the place and i would recommend anyone taking a cab should take his services. Only think i would probable rate the resort a 3 star is their food prices, they are on a little higher side. However my overall experience is satisfying and happy.

I rarely write reviews anywhere, but this Hill Crest Resort - Coorg and its staff left me in awe. The rooms boast a charming British heritage style, and the view from the cottage was breathtaking. I couldn't stop taking photos of the serene surroundings. The pool and bonfire were absolutely delightful. What truly stood out was the exceptional behavior of the staff. Special thanks to the manager for providing outstanding hospitality, from tour guidance to cooking the best home-style dishes. Also the stream of waterfall flowing along the Hill Crest Resort - Coorg and bonfire has my special mention ❤️ Overall, I am so happy and content with this place.

Our stay at hill crest resort was really beautiful. Let me start with the view from our terrace suite, it was really mesmerising view and treat to eyes and soul. The staff is really good, hospitality was really good and loved their humble nature. Food was great, good number of verities, quality and taste was excellent. I was very confident to feed my 1. 4years old baby. Spa was really good, excellent service even there. Pool and other games are good, they can improve or include more activities. In total it was a refreshing, relaxing stay with hill crest.

We recently visited hill crest and it was a memorable experience. It’s a newly built property with spacious rooms and great view. Special thanks to property manager for upgrading our room on request and his team made sure we get best experience. Best part about this property is their food and service. Extremely humble and helpful staff. Thanks to anita and bhavan for all their restaurant services as well. If you’re visiting coorg i highly suggest this property, you’ll enjoy your ride to the property. It’s a complete scenic location

The resort is nicely located on the main eroad. The place is well designed where each room is located separately located and you will have a complete privacy of staying. The balcony gives you the cozy feeling of having a nice family time in the mornings and evening. Onlooking the hills. The amenities are standard and the dining place has is spacious to accommodate the guests. They will need to improve the parking place to ensure smooth parking for guests. The dishes in breakfast needs to be marked as veg or no veg properly.

The resort is situated a little outside coorg so one needs to have travel options sorted beforehand. It's a beautiful resort with a great view and facilities like pool and spa. The breakfast options and food overall are excellent. The staff is very helpful, our rooms were upgraded to one with a view. It's a great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather of coorg.

I loved the amenities. All staffs were friendly and welcoming and specially the food was fabulous and all rooms had nice view from balcony

It was a short stay, but the experience was amazing. The front desk lady was so wonderful with her service and very hospitable. Mr. Susan was very friendly throughout the stay. The place is awesome, next time, i would like to check the cottages. The overall experience was really good.

Loved our family stay at the hill crest resort. The service is impeccable. Staff is warm, courteous and very helpful. The food is very nice including the breakfast buffet. The view from the room we had (terrace suite) was very scenic. In terms of indoor activities, they have gym, pool room and kids room. The whole ambience and the vibe of this property is good. Would recommend anybody to stay here.

I had a good time staying in the resort. Staff’s were very friendly and ensured all our asks were met.

The stay was good. Staff are polite. Hotel and rooms are clean. Good time to stay is between july to jan. The only problem i had faced is the food. We had opted for lunch, but the service was very very late. Other than that, property is at good location and has all basic amenities.

The staff and the food at the resort was good. However the room that was allotted to us did not have any view. The price was high for that room.

The resort was excellent, it has a good view of the mountains. Services provided was top notch, rooms were spacious, clean and well maintained. Food was excellent with good options for veg. It's a fairly new resort, i would recommend anyone planning a trip to coorg to consider hillcrest and plan their stay. Resort is in a centre location to all the famous tourist spots so you can access everything with your vehicles.

We had an amazing experience at the hill crest resort. The staff was absolutely amazing and helpful. We stayed at a cottage which was clean, spacious, had a nice seating area outside and we absolutely enjoyed our time. They have many services like spa, there is a nice swimming pool and the view is great. The only downside is that the property is right next to the road so you can hear the vehicles but aside from that the whole experience was amazing. The rooms and bathrooms look exactly like the picture.
