Marvellous in one word, Starting from stay to overall experience, Prashant Sharma is the person who is the owner of this property , he himself will be taking care of all his guests. Couple of points I want to highlight which are hereby : a) View from the stay terrace is awesome, b) The location is exactly at the prime point just adjacent to Darjeeling Railway Station , c) Communication via Siliguri or Mirik will transport over the same road where Hill Home is situated, it is exactly at the main road, so no narrow lane or gali which you shouldn’t be worried about. d) Just. 500-600 mitres walkable distance from Mall Road where Keventer’s , Glenary’s are located. e) Since it is exactly at the main road , all the shared cabs , personal cabs or any booked one’s you will get to hands on very very easily. f) I have recently visited Darjeeling and stayed there for 4 ( Four ) days from 25th Dec to 29th Dec along with my Mother who is around 60 years of old. Either it is for family or it is like bachelor you won’t face any sort of issues or dramas, Prashant and his family are very chill and will take good care of their guests, h) Even if there’s no prior booking of any cabs to trip nearby places across you really don’t have to worry for personal cabs to visit sightseeing of entire Darjeeling , Mirik , Pashupathi Market , Lamahatta , Triveni and many more . Prashant has many contacts which you can directly book through him at a reasonably cheap rate compared to market in any season. i) There is no problem of hot water , geyser both are available 24 hours. j) The behaviour of the owner and his family are very good and our overall stay was pleasant enough. I will definitely visit Darjeeling again and will recommend Hill Home to everyone wishing a wonderful stay.. Thank You.. Ciao …

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming homestay and i must say, it was an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment i arrived, i was warmly welcomed by the host who made sure i felt at home right away. The homestay itself was beautifully decorated and had a warm and cozy atmosphere that immediately put me at ease. The room was spacious, clean and well-appointed, with all the amenities i needed to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. What really made this homestay stand out though, was the personal touch that the host added to my stay. They went above and beyond to make sure that i had everything i needed and even took the time to give me some great local recommendations for things to do and see in the area. Overall, i would highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in a beautiful and welcoming environment. The attention to detail and personalized service really set it apart and made for a truly memorable experience.

The location is very nice, just next to the darjeeling railway station. There are few good restaurants near the property. The rooms/bathrooms are very tiny but clean and cute. From one of our room was kanchanjangha view room. The terrace of the property is very nice. The property owners are very polite and friendly. The property has free wifi. Concerns: 1. One of us stayed in a room with no window. And the power supply got cut in the middle of the day and the room became completely dark. This was mood killer for me. 2. The matriss of some rooms were too soft to sleep properly. 3. The mirror in one room was placed in a bizzare place. That was a bit weird. 4. The water hitter thing was acting weird. One time i was in bathroom and the gysure stopped working on its own. And i had to shower with cold water. That was very very upsetting for me.

The property is situated right near the city centre, next to himalayan railway station. Kanchenjunga and associated peaks could be viewed at from the terrace. No in-house restaurant but several food outlets are nearby. Room heating currently not in place, you would have to rent electric heater from the owner, chargeable at an hourly basis. They handed over to us a clean and sanitized room but then did not bother to clean it till we had checked out (they could do better here)

I have travel-led with my family. 1 kid 1 aged person and my mother was sick, our baby needed hot warer. The host and his family is so kind and caring they have been taking care of the family members so well. We were comfortable thanks to the host. Rooms are beautiful and clean. If weather is good you can get good view from the balcony. The best thing is the homestay is just front of the station so you do not have to go anywhere to get anything.

No words are enough to express the hospitality rendered by prashant, the host. He would always enquirer about any requirement that i may have and ensured quick service. A wonderful family consisting of his wife and 2 year old daughter, i felt as though i were a part of the family. The location was excellent. Adjacent to the railway station. This is definitely the first of many more visits to come. Thanks a lot and best wishes to you and family.

A little lack of space but very friendly and helping caretakers. Specially for kids.

A great place to stay in here. This Hill Home is just opposite of th darjeeling rail station. Bus stand is 100-200 m near the Hill Home. Sharing car is available from outside the Hill Home. Mall is about 1 km far from the Hill Home through the main road. Terrace view is awesome. 5 stars.

Rooms and washrooms were nicely cleaned. Staffs also followed social distancing.

Property is situated right beside darjeeling station. Easy to locate and clean, cheap rooms.

I stayed in hill home for 7 days and my stay was simply fantastic. The location is the best part - right by the railway station and you have everything available as soon as you step out of the gate. The rooms are clean, cozy and one of them had a great view of the kanchenjunga. Prashant is a fabulous host - he is super helpful and personally makes sure that we have everything we need. Will definitely visit again.

It is indeed a homely place. The hospitality was incredible and the warmth of the family's treatment is certainly worth to be treasured. The place is easy to locate and near the market. I would recommend this place for anyone visiting darjeeling.

Clean, quiet rooms, superb host, easy to find and the view of the mountains from the room was outstanding. One of the best place i have ever stayed. Absolutely recomended.
