Hilton Chennai

We stayed at hilt-on Chennai between 15-17 February 2022. We were given a guest room on the 8th floor the **** at reception said “we are giving you a special room on the 8th floor”. So with all the excitement, we went to the room. Unfortunately, we had our worst experience there! the bathroom was completely at fault. 1) the handle kept aside of the tub was very loose and shaking. I had the most frightening experience when i tried to climb out the tub after bath, as the handle seemed to detach and come in my hand. [ it is very dangerous when the handle detaches, if it happens one will slip and die] 2) the drain in shower area was present on enter of shower room. I entered shower without footwear and i did not look down. The drain had a huge rusted metal frame which was elevated and not positioned well and i cut my leg in that. The least i could expect in a 5 star Hilton Chennai. 3) the display (tv) and speakers in the bathroom were not working. Infinity pool the pool was very dirty with a lot of pigeon waste (poo. We spent 2 hours in the pool on both our days of stay and we have skin peeling and rash now. I believe the water was not changed in a long time and they only kept chlorinating it. Staff on the first day of our stay we did not know where to go for dinner. So we approached the staff at lobby and they were so rude! I have never seen such rude behavior from staff in any star Hilton Chennai! I really hope they are advised to be polite hereafter.

Rooms bathtub and the electronic operated partition were amazing. Kid liked the electronic operated stuff in room. Chef was very nice to talk and prepared nice food with custom spicy level. Dinner and breakfast buffet were satisfying. Custom orders do take time though. The Hilton Chennai is just besides metro and you can go straight to airport. Something that the staff does not tell you and instead charge huge amount for airport transfer. Overall an extremely affordable and luxurious Hilton Chennai in this category.

I stayed at hilt-on 3-6 may 2023. The Hilton Chennai offers a good experience in. Customer engagement, good italian and indian cuisine. Spa offers a wide choice of relaxation, and treatment. Swimming pool is well positioned, open to sky environment. My stay was. Comfortable, staff are courteous, m aking good suggestions for meals. I will stay at hilt-on during future visits to chennai. Booked for a day to spend some quality time with family. The room was excellent overlooking the city from the 9th floor. It had all amenities as promised in the booking page. Food was great with a wide range of spreads. Booked a spa session in the basement to relax and the service was pleasant and worthy. Overall a good place to spend time with your loved ones!

The property was clean n sanitized frequently. Staffs are very friendly n offered on the service when required. I stayed with my family for 2 days n we really enjoyed the breakfast. English breakfast n south indian style breakfast are top notch but dinner could have been even more better as tier s not much of options, especially indian food.

Spent the week very well even it’s for a short duration of stay the process till the time from check in till the exit all were systematically done which i personally liked about food quality and the hospitality was welcoming would definitely be a frequent customer and quite an annoying type for continuous visits in the comings days. Everything about this Hilton Chennai is just incredible ! the rooms and corridors were very quiet and the dining area with outdoor seating is amazing ! everything was so clean and neat, just felt the food and beverage costs were bit high ! would recommend 100%

All safety standards are followed and prime location nearby to airport. excellent food served at buffet.

Good and convenient location. The property is well maintained and staffs are cordial. Good place to stay for buisness travellers. Restaurant is good and variety are available except limited version of fish items.
