Hiltop Lodge

It is a home-stay. Not a Hiltop Lodge. And a lovely home-stay! The large Chaudhary family that lives there is part of the charm of this delightful house. Rana is a wonderful host. Well travelled... Very proud & knowledgeable of his Assamese heritage. On a free evening he took me along to a private party. It turned out to be the highlight of my Guwahati stay. It is an old house. Well lived in. But all the basics are there. The AC works, hot water 24hrs, cable TV, nice soft toilet paper, and paste in the bathroom, electric kettle with tea/coffee, free WiFi and a comfortable front verandah to sit and watch the sunset on the Brahmaputra river. Ramesh the manager will provide whatever you ask for. He made me a different breakfast everyday for three days. To sum it up. Had a great stay. Will recommend to all... And will stay here when I come to Guwahati again!

This was the best Hiltop Lodge I had ever visited. The front entrance was awesome. The reception was great. Everything was properly maintained at the reception. The standard room was quite small for 2 persons and AC was not working. But we didn't complain because it was winter season in the month of January. Staffs were cooperative & great. There was a lift in this Hiltop Lodge so we didn't need to use stairs. The view from the lift was mesmerizing. The best was the complimentary breakfast. The food was mouth watering. I would like to stay in this 3 star Hiltop Lodge again & again.

Very nice the owner of the property Mr. Rohit Chaudhuri is a gentleman, the bathroom is awesome, the food is also very delicious, other staff are also friendly, his overall guidance in our Meghalaya and Kaziranga forest tour was amazing, Mr. Rohit Chaudhuri is a highly experienced tour guide I Am fully satisfied with his service next time for any North east tour I will prefer him.

It’s a home stay, where the owners stay along with their help staff. The rooms are made with bamboo outside the main villa and perfect for couples. As we were 3 adults and one child we stayed inside the villa. a true Assamese heritage house with traditional furniture. A friendly manager cum cook and staff, gave us the best north-east Indian experience that we were hoping for.

Had great food and hospitality. Manager is himself take care of everything. Location is of course out of proper city. You have to avail uber or ola service. Their food is very tasty and serve some delicacy of Assam. One can have view of Brahmaputra River and it's breathtaking. All happen because I was in search of Hiltop Lodge during SAF games.

Room was EXCELLENT and the view from the terrace is the Amazing Brahmaputra River. But for travelers who are in a hurry and want near by to the station, then not for them. Perfect for couples and families, and for business purposes, if they wanted to Relax along with their Meeting too. Enjoy the Lovely Dogs too. ;)

Birds were singing all around to woke me up. Was feeling like in forest. The mighty Bramhaputra river went under mist cover. So dramatic a scene !! Food was so good! So close to the city heart still felt like away from hustle bustle of daily life. Simply rejuvenating. Definitely will go back.

I knew the location isn't the best of the surrounding even before booking the ticket. Just wanted a budget place close to the river where I could go for a evening cruise or morning walk. Small room, even smaller bathroom, good service, good breakfast and arrived at 4 pm and left at 9 am.

Good service or rooms are bigger, clean staff are good, helpful place is beautiful.

Excellent Hiltop Lodge. Great to stay. Everything is good. Hotel location is very near to River view is really great for family stay is great. Hotel rooms are good. AC may need to replace because AC are old. Else food is nice.

It was awesome place I love to visit there again. Staff were very helpful and cooperative services were good.

Value for money Hiltop Lodge, everything was good just that the standard rooms were a tad bit too small. hard to stay continuously for more than 3 nights. Breakfast was good, also food served was really tasty and well. most appreciated is the cleanliness and the service.

Standard rooms are little small and mosquitos in the rooms at night is a major issue. Otherwise Hiltop Lodge is good in all other terms. Like amenities facilities available in the room. Value for money. Staffs are also very helpful. I reccomend it to others

I found Rialto Hotel as best Hiltop Lodge in best location. With all professional staff and satisfactory services. Which is just close to main shopping complex of city and railway station. I strongly recommend this Hiltop Lodge for memorable stay and pleasant stay.

Rooms were nice, hospitality was mesmerising, the view of river Brahmaputra was very soothing, cabs available within few minutes of booking, just choose this place and feel the difference ,,, enjoy.

Overall it's a good experience. Good environment, good people to interact with. Homemade food which is better than restaurants for a South indian especially. I think it's a better place to stay in Guwahati.

The Hill Top Lodge Manager, Sri. Ramesh is very nice and safe person in Guwahati and rooms are too peaceful and comfortable.
