Himrab Chopta Homestay | Rooms & Caretaker

Himrab is located about 2.5 km from the start point of the trek to Tungnath-Chandrashila, on the road to Gopeshwar. It is perched on a mountain ledge at about 2850 meters above sea level, with Chandrashila peak towering above it and an un-named waterfall below it. The accomodation consists of 5 rooms in a prefab shelter, each having attached washrooms. The rooms are small but adequately furnished. The linen is clean. The washroom is quite basic but clean. It does not have geyser, but Mr Digambar Negi, the owner cum manager, provides hot water at 15 minutes notice. The views from the balcony are wonderful, and the food is basic north indian fare, but prepared on order(fresh), and quite tasty. The staff is cheerful & responsive to the requirementd of guests, despite lacking experience in upmarket hospitality. On the whole, a stay at Himrab is a pleasent experience and value for money option for the weary travellers on Panch Kedar circuit.

The staff goes above and beyond to make customers' stays enjoyable and comfortable. The accommodations are roomy, immaculate, and provide breathtaking views of the surroundings. Particularly, the first floor's view is simply spectacular, exhibiting the himalayan mountains' majesty and magnificence. Additionally, the resort's restaurant serves simply wonderful food, offering a selection of meals that satisfy a range of dietary requirements. The food is of good quality, and the staff is always on hand to make sure that diners have a pleasant day. Overall, himrab chopta resort offers an outstanding experience thanks to its flawless service, cosy accommodations, and mouthwatering cuisine

We were very tired after trecking down from kedarnath and traveled to Himrab wanting a pleasant stay and good food, they team lived upto the expectations. They are a professional team always taking care of the requirements with a smiling face. They went out of way to accommodate our requirements and my kids become a fan of their food and staff so much so that they wanted to stay for few more days. Mr. Digamber the man who is behind this wonderful Stay.

I mainly choose Himrab for the reviews people put … as expected no surprise .. I reached very late due to landslide in the area .. Digambar ji was following up with me on phone and was waiting for me when arrived … if you want home away from home this is the place .. 2 kms to entrance of tunganath temple .. short walk or taxi will drop you . Recommend this place 100 %

I had a very great experience at himrab. The rooms are very neat and clean plus spacious. The view from the room is breathtaking. Food and all the services are best here in addition to this staff is very cooperative specially dharam he also providing pick and drop facilities to their customers. I am very happy and going to book this again in future.

The place was easy to find because of the staff, there were 2 private bathrooms which i liked the most
