If you're planning a pilgrimage to tungnath mahadev in chopta, himrab is the place to stay. Located amid-st the scenic splendor of chandrashila and other picturesque peaks of uttarakhand, this quaint and cute cottage is clean, well maintained and comforting. Our caretaker was exceptionally courteous. He not only helped us to navigate our way to the homestay late at night, but also cooked for us at 2 am in the night. A great cook, his food was delicious with home-made simplicity and flavour. He also ensured that we got hot water early in the morning and didn't have to worry about anything! i highly recommend himrab homestay and wish them the very best for their service and success.

My family and i were lucky to find this property last minute for our visit to tungnath. It’s located just below the tungnath and chandrashila peak and the surrounding is serene. The property is located just 6minutes (by vehicle) away from the chopta market where the tungnath trek starts. The negi brothers at property were really helpful throughout, from post booking coordination to checking in. The rooms came with attached washroom and hot water was made available by the host whenever requested. The property offers bonfire service at minimum cost. And the food felt just like home. I will surely book my stay at himrab again for my next visit!

Himrab chopta is a perfect stay for nature lovers. It is surrounded by huge mountains. Rooms & washrooms are very spacious. Host dharamsing negi is a great guy with smiling face. He is a great cook as well. We had excellent food in dinner. They have tent felicities also. The room was very cosy and had a nice view of the hill behind. Although we could not enjoy the view much as it was raining heavily during our stay. The staff are very well behaved and they cook nice meals for you. You can ask for any service during any time of the day, they will be there to attend the same. I would like to stay in the same Himrab Chopta Homestay | Rooms & Caretaker if I again visit Chopta.😀

Loved our stay at himrab homestay. The staff there is very helpful and friendly. The food also was excellent. Electricity and wifi is available from evening to next morning only, as the solar panels need to charge during daytime. Also the place is just 2. 5km away from the tunganath mandir trek route. Overall experience was very good. Highly recommended!

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. As soon as we arrived we were offered a drink and led to our room. Which has been great after a long tiresome trip. We also found it refreshing not to go through formalities first. The rooms were clean and we needed anything at all, the owner was there to provide.

We were a group of friends travel-ling to chopta for the tungnath trek. The location is beautiful and peaceful. The food was also nice and tasty. The only downside is that there is no signal or wifi. We have to go to a nearby hill to get the connection.

Such a wonderful place. The best place to stay in chopta. The resort is run by digambar really lovely person. The team himrab resort need a special appreciation for the hospitality and guidance. Loved the food. Thanks guys.

In chopta there is only camp but this is feel like a house awsome place to stay in chopta they will provide u hot water there is no geyser basic food is there but it’s taste like ghar ka khana totally maintained hygiene
