Holiday Hill Hotel and Suites

We had a two night stay at Holiday hill Holiday Hill Hotel and Suites and suites in Wayanad. The Holiday Hill Hotel and Suites is located close to one of the three main areas of (Sultan Bathery and Kalpetta being the other two). All sight seeing places fall within 30-40 kms from this Holiday Hill Hotel and Suites. Also, when travelling from Bangalore/Mysore, tourists can take the Hunsur, Nagerhole reserve route (Nagerhole reserve forest has entry from 6am to 6pm, though adventurous and thrilling, if lucky can spot few wild animals) to reach the Holiday Hill Hotel and Suites first, as the bathery route is the other end from this location. About the Holiday Hill Hotel and Suites, service and facilities, the property is at par with 3 star category with ample car parking and about 5 different categories of rooms and suites. Rooms are spacious, well furnished and maintained. Staff service is awesome, every single staff in the Holiday Hill Hotel and Suites is courteous and friendly. The restaurant has a good range of menu both veg and non-veg and the food served is tasty too. Things need to be improved: It would have been better if there was AC in chembra rooms, as we did not know this at the time of booking and the climate was also warmer unexpectedly, we were a little disappointed on this. The complimentary buffet breakfast could have few more varieties.

1. Extremely clean Holiday Hill Hotel and Suites, clean room and restroom. 2. They have a good restaurant and tasty food. We stayed for one night. For dinner we had Kerala parathas. Breakfast is unlimited & complimentary (dosas, poori, puttu, appam asking with coffee/tea). A very yummy food for Kerala standards (I am a vegetarian and usually I don't get this good food in Kerala) 3. Spacious room (We stayed in their kuruva room). They provide a very clean bed sheets, Bath towels etc. 4. 24 hours hot water facility. They said they offer free Wi-Fi, but we forgot to try it. 5. The passages have very beautiful 3D paintings of nature depicting the theme of Wayanad tourism. 6. Place is closer to Kuruva Island, Tholpetty Wildlife Sanctuary, Iruppu Waterfalls, Kabini & Nagarahole Wild Life Sanctuary, Thirunelli Temple etc. 7. Receptionist communicates well in English and we helpful in recommending places to visit nearby etc. 8. They have a good car parking facility in their premises. 9. The place is adjacent the highway. 10. The Holiday Hill Hotel and Suites is slightly far away from the rest of Wayanad sight seeing places like Chembra, Banasura Sagar Dam, Soochipara Falls, Alkali Caves etc(about 45-65 kms). If you are travelling by own vehicle you can reach these places in 1-1. 5 hours time.

Overall a good Holiday Hill Hotel and Suites to stay. Mr Rajesh at reception is the gem. He is very good in managing customer relationship. I would like to Thank him here Few of the things to consider: 1. Wi-Fi quality is very poor, but Holiday Hill Hotel and Suites provides you the dongle free of charge if needed 2. Rooms are very spacious 3. Food is very delicious Something which I didn't like: 1. Banasura & Kabini rooms are not toddler/young kid friendly. The wood work has very sharp edges. Kids running around will get hurt badly. We had two incidents. 2. Though the staff is very courteous and good, the kitchen service is just opposite. They were not willing to serve tea at 7:00 pm. Milk were not available for kids around 10:00 pm. Overall, I had a very good time here Near by attraction with in 5-6 km 1. Kurva Island 2. Wild life sanctuary Bansura dam and Decal caves are around 30 km each Hope this review will help someone going to stay over there

This Holiday Hill Hotel and Suites is at the start of Wayanad so except for 1 or 2 places you end up travelling atleast 30+ KMs for other places in Wayanad. I will not recommend this Holiday Hill Hotel and Suites if you are you are going for a short trip of 1 or 2 days. If you book it from Make My trip site then I will say that the cost is the discounts that we got) or it is value for money however if you book it directly from the Holiday Hill Hotel and Suites then the cost v/s the service v/s nearby places to visit is not good value for money. While they say they have buffet but the options are very limited. I will rather say only 2 or 3. If you prefer to order food in the Holiday Hill Hotel and Suites room then this is not the right Holiday Hill Hotel and Suites for you since the room service is not that great.

The room that we booked was Kuruva and was good enough to accommodate my family. The best part of this Holiday Hill Hotel and Suites is the paintings that is hanged on all the floors. So you can feel the flavor of art gallery too. We had a photo shoot and selfies around this paintings. The location was easy to spot. There are few spots nearby this Holiday Hill Hotel and Suites and that are 1. Kuruvadeep, 2. Wildlife sanctuary, but please avoid visiting the worst wildlife sanctuary which is waste of money and time. The most interesting part is the complimentary breakfast and the staff will bring the dishes to your seat unlike buffet. Overall 5 ratings for the deal from MMT. People who talk about internet at holiday places should enjoy the beauty of Wayanad and not bother about the internet working or not.

The Hotel located near to Kuruva Island location. While travelling to Kuruva from this Holiday Hill Hotel and Suites we enjoyed the drive in the forest looks greenish and fresh air and slight showers. This Holiday Hill Hotel and Suites maintained very clean and looks attractive. During my visit the restaurant not open since last two month so we not able to take dinner from the Holiday Hill Hotel and Suites and we went outside, there is no good Holiday Hill Hotel and Suitess near to this Holiday Hill Hotel and Suites and we traveled 9km to Mananthavady location for food.

Pros : - Value for money. - Food is excellent and reasonable price. - Services are good. - Location - Heart of the city. Very near to Bus stand. - Very transparent attitude. Pictures are exactly same with original. Cons: - Location in the Heart of the city but all the visiting places are far away. You need to travel at least 60 km(one way) to visit places. One Temple & Kuruva island are only the nearby visiting place. - Beef available in the Hotel which can be an issue for Hindu religious people.

Rooms were clean and very spacious with a sitting area and a Reading desk. Located at the highway. Restaurant serves good food and breakfast is limited, not a buffet. Staff is very well behaved, professional and helpful. Covered parking space is limited, open parking is enough. We had to call couple of times to ask for drinking water, the staff can improve on that by responding soon and not forgetting the guests' requests. Overall it was a very good stay, we will definitely go there again.

Good clean rooms. Neat. Excellent location. And I did get a got deal from MMT, which makes this Holiday Hill Hotel and Suites value for money. I got an interconnected room and another double room. The interconnected room has only one bathroom though. Also I visited the Holiday Hill Hotel and Suites during summer and I wished for more fans in the room. Restaurant was mind blowing. Never thought you will get tandoori items and grilled items. Excellent.

Nice location, good ambience and good service. People were courteous. Hassle free process to book, check-in and checkout. Would recommend anyone. Price is on a bit higher side compared to other accommodation options nearby. Eating options can be expanded. Overall good.

Hotel management is service oriented. The restaurant was very amazing and The food was very delicious. All types of vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes are available. There is free WiFi which enables access to internet Overall a good experience ..

Location - If you're to visit Thirunelli, Tholpetty, Kuruva Island it is a plus since these 3 destinations are just within 1/2 hr travel Service - Warm & Attentive Restaurant - Not that great value for your money, better you can opt to have food from Mananthavady or from Kalpetta or Battery if you have your own vehicle Overall - Good experience and Good staff.

We stayed here for visiting the temples. Its exactly situated the middle of both temples. And we could take some jungle drives also in the night and early morning. Room was very clean and hygienic. Staff was friendly..

Wifi was not available on my floor

Facilities are nice and located at good location. Prefer AC rooms only and nice food and value for money. Staff are friendly and helpful. Totally worth Holiday Hill Hotel and Suites must try for next trip.

Room is clean, spacious and comfortable to stay. Hot water kettle was not available in thé room. Location is very convenaient for travellers from and to Bangalore. Restaurant was closed while our visit but food on call service was available.
