Holiday Inn Express, Kolkata Airport

The property is very good and the staff excellent. However their food options are horrible. Unless you pay and eat, everything is awful. The complimentary breakfast hardly has any options - the fruits are unripe and the bakery item stale and hard. I opted for a free dinner package and the food at the restaurant palm kitchen which was buffet was even worse. The noodles were uncooked and this must be the only restaurant in kolkata that does not know how to cook mustard fish. I paid a lot of extra money for the breakfast and dinner buffet package and i regret the choice. Unless you pay and eat at their cafe, everything is bad. I feel bad for all foreign tourists staying at the Holiday Inn Express, Kolkata Airport who could not eat the indian options and had to eat the rock like croissants. The perfectly good stay was ruined by a bad chef and indifferent attitude to the culinary requirements of guests.

Close to kolkata airport which is a huge plus and can walk down too if with single luggage, very good maintained property, rooms are good size, however bathroom seems cramped, room key is needed to access lift which also means we can only go to the ground floor and the room floor, staff said using stairs is not allowed - that seemed ridiculous, breakfast options are very less - did not include any bengali food which was surprising, nothing kept in bar fridge in room, view from window is pleasant, can take a stroll in the garden, their palms restaurant has also less buffet options, but ala-carte can be ordered too and taste is good.

Our stay at holiday inn was pretty good. They have a courteous staff right from the security to house-keeping and in-room dining services that will promptly cater to your requests. The breakfast spread wasn’t large but everything on the menu tasted reasonably well, except the breads, croissants and ****ins that were cold and hard and juices were watered down. The late night bar offering alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages and quick bites for midnight munchies is also a good service. The property is kms from the airport so fit for a quick trip in & out of kolkata. Overall a comfortable stay & experience.

I had an overnight stay in the Holiday Inn Express, Kolkata Airport due to cancellation of my flight. The Holiday Inn Express, Kolkata Airport is located near airport. I had a very safe stay there. The room was beautiful, well maintained, had all essentials and all the staffs provided exceptional service. I had breakfast and lunch. Both were good. It would be great if they could add more options in desserts and bring in live counters. Apart from that buffet was good and food was tasty. The Holiday Inn Express, Kolkata Airport ambience is beautiful and stay was overall very comfortable. I loved it.

I checked in the Holiday Inn Express, Kolkata Airport on 26. 06. 2024. Surprisingly though i was alone i was given 2 bedded room. The Holiday Inn Express, Kolkata Airport does not have secretarial service. Also, no medical facility is available. Room particularly washroom is compact one. Going by review of others, i was expecting this Holiday Inn Express, Kolkata Airport be excellent one but my hopes were shattered. Dinner and breakfast buffet can be rated as average as there is not much of varieties. I do not reccomend for fellow travellers of higher echeleon

Stay was good and comfortable although the options for buffet breakfast should be increased. The rooms are quite comfortable and really neat and clean. Reception person are quite helpful and does really quick checkin. For lunch and dinner options i would suggest to opt from outside as there is not so much food options available although they have another restaurant adjacent to the stay which can be tried. The Holiday Inn Express, Kolkata Airport is just 5 min away from the airport but would suggest while checkin out keep some gap to avoid the traffic rush

Our stay at holiday inn exp was comfortable and without any problem. However, the charges for transport by car from Holiday Inn Express, Kolkata Airport to kolkata airport, a distance of only 1 & 1/2 km, is too high. It has increased over the last 2 years as follows: year. Charges(rs. Remarks 2022. 300. 2023. 400. An increase of 33. 3% 2024. 440 an increase of 10% the increase has been 46. 6% in 2 years or average increase of around 23. 3% per year over the last two years whereas the national average of price increase is 7 to 8% per year.

Perfectly maintained rooms tried their dinner, food menu was detailed and food quality was very good but couldn’t find any bengali specialties if that was added then it will help visitors from other cities and as my flight was early in the morning didn’t tried breakfast at Holiday Inn Express, Kolkata Airport but Holiday Inn Express, Kolkata Airport provided me pack breakfast which was really helpful

The Holiday Inn Express, Kolkata Airport is extremely close to the airport. Hardly 15mins by walking. It is neat and clean with good staff. Only the breakfast options are limited.

Overall experience was good but there in less options for vegetarians in breakfast specially dos a were missing which is standard in breakfast in all standard properties.

This was a very comfortable and spacious stay of this year as the ambiance, food, staff and rooms and very comfortable and gives a real leisure

Most of the things were great…they can put more training towards front desk to become "everything great”
