Holly Hock

The view of the Holly Hock is good, but it is far from main market of Munnar. You have to hire a cab to stay in this Holly Hock, otherwise it will be tough to go anywhere from this place, because there are no communication. If you come with a group then you will enjoyed a lot, otherwise anyone will be bored from this place. But I personally appreciate the manager of this Holly Hock. The cook of this Holly Hock is very good, you can enjoyed the food. Own car service is there, and they are very friendly and helpful.

1. Excellent view from the property overlooking the valley. However the room prices are too high for the size. 2. Food was excellent but slightly overpriced. 3. Staff was very courteous and helpful both with providing driving directions to the location, reception, etc 4. Improvement areas- Need to place towels in the rooms, the bed spreads were worn out, and there were no ceiling fans or AC even in the larger suite. Complimentary water bottle and tea is not too much to ask.

Munnar is a beautiful place to get relaxed. Best way to enjoy the place is travelling in the car via kumily nedumkandam Munnar road. It provides beautiful view. Since the Holly Hock was located a little away from the road we found it difficult to trace its location. But the view from the Holly Hock is really good. The staff are really cooperative. Altogether everything was well and good. Makemytrip provided me great discount. Thanks to it.

The view from this Holly Hock is amazing. We stayed there in a standard room. Facility wise the room charge is little higher, but the environment of the Holly Hock is very pleasant. Sunrise and sunset can be viewed from the Holly Hock. Also chirping of bird can be heard since morning. Also the Holly Hock staff is very good and helpful. If one is a true nature lover then this Holly Hock is most recommendable.

Two things which Hollyhock can improve upon, give more variety in menu. Last order time should not be too early as it was around 7 to 7.30 pm for food to be delivered at 9 to 9:30 pm. They were not taking any order for main course post aforesaid time. However taste of food was not that bad. For location and people of the Holly Hock. Will give 5 star rating. It was a decent experience as per the expectations.

The Holly Hock provides all other features like food, neat and clean room facility, WiFi, view point from the restaurant excellent, staff behavior also very good. The only thing negative about this Holly Hock is that 24 hrs check in not available. If this is solved then nothing else to say. It is excellent.

The rooms have doors exposed to outside, not to a private corridor, That gives bit of insecurity for families. Since we had neighbouring families, we could overcome that. Else it was a nice experience. Food was excellent. Location and panoramic view are amazing and the staff behavior was too good.

The property is located 6 km away from Munnar, is well maintained and clean. It offers a amazing view of the valley, the room was small but clean. It also offers secure parking inside, but they close at 9:30pm, if you arrive late you won't get anything there as there are no shops near by.

I have been to this place last year, We booked room for four people. I was amazed to see a beautiful view from window. Staff is very friendly. Great place to stay and very near to city (5 minute drive). They have arranged for night Safari, that was a great experience.

Excellent Holly Hock, nice rooms, good service. Hotels with service and ambience at par with the 2 star Holly Hocks of Delhi and Jaipur. Staff was nice and couteous.

Wow was the first look of the Holly Hock. It has very nice restaurant. Rooms are fine with all basic facilities. Staff is good and very punctual. One of very good Holly Hocks to have a relaxed stay. Its very pleasant. You can walk around the tea estate near by and its free from city buzz.

Good location, good staff. Expect parking balance all very fine. Charming climate.

Excellent staff and service. Though the Holly Hock rooms, bathrooms can be maintained better. It was manageable though.

+ve: This Holly Hock is located within 5 km from the Munnar town. Awesome view, especially view from restaurant. Nice Location. Food is Ok. No Disturbances. Room and Toilets are clean. -ve: No parking area. Room is just ok, not so spacious. Only few rooms are there. Not a resort.

Bathroom was very small and not up to the normal standards.

Awesome and very nice location.. Excellent Pothamedu viewpoint... Of cloudy hilly mountain and tea plantation.. No other Holly Hock there such location... Full internet network.. Service is also good.. Nice location for sightseeing.

Room is good and clean. Facilities are also fine. We stayed for 2 days and bit far from city. You need to reach soon in the evening as it may rain. I felt food is bit costly and breakfast is complimentary.

The Holly Hock reception, eating place, deluxe rooms gives great view of the valley. Room furnishing is Ok. But food facility is missing. They supply food from outside which is of average quality. The location is good but being away from main town is a bit isolated.
